Surviving The Fourth Calamity

Chapter 716: Chapter 515 The Name Here: Agleya!

As family members of the Tyr’s Paladin Legion, they indeed lived with confidence; although their lifestyle wasn’t luxurious, being middle-income families meant that the girls were always well-dressed.

Moreover, being descendants of knights, they were all trained and possessed agile and tall figures.

In the Ferun Great Land, such women were highly popular.

Some professionals, clad in leather armor, tall, and good-looking, walked back and forth not far from the girls, chatting and laughing with each other, gesticulating casually, looking sunny and handsome.

This was also somewhat a popular style of chiseled attractiveness in Ferun, and the girls couldn’t help but look over.

These warriors and rangers, young and already above level 10, and who also had above-average looks and figures, were no wonder catching more than just a few glances from these usually picky girls.

After all, they usually interacted with reserve paladins and their apprentices; normal adventurers would hardly catch even the corner of their eyes.

Hill scoffed and summoned Marsha, instructing her to pay extra attention to the girls’ safety within Hill’s Domain under the name of Agleya, not giving them any chance to mingle privately with the foreign adventurers.

In this world, conspirators liked to find trouble in roundabout ways, especially using the families of the powerful.

In Hill’s Domain, the only exploitable entities were the ’Silver Shield’ Knight Corps.

One could say that the passersby in Hill’s location were so docile largely because of Tyr’s paladins.

The God System in Ferun was overly complex, and many people were adept at exploiting the conflicts between deities for profit.

Even local lords, who kept silent when facing pirates clearly from Luskan, were making the people holding back their restless desires.

But Kelben, whose face had been struck by Hill, would certainly find a way to retaliate again.

Unfortunately, Kelben would probably not understand what is meant by natural favor.

Just with one glance, Hill noticed a problem.

Hill somewhat figured out a bit of Black Staff’s intentions; he truly hadn’t expected Kelben to exploit regular people’s emotions.

Kelben must have thought that Hill had a bad temper, certainly impetuous and irritable.

Otherwise, normal people wouldn’t usually bother with a man who was close to death.

If these paladins turned against Hill over their family matters, there might be a bloodbath.

Making Tyr, who strongly supported Goddess Agleya the Sea God, become their greatest enemy, was the best revenge against Hill.

A normal lord wouldn’t care much about these trivial matters of male and female affections, but Hill was different.

Seeing that enthusiastic scene, only an alarm bell sounded in Hill’s Mental Sea.

People from the Toril World might never know how many problems can arise between men and women, relatively speaking, in a peaceful world.

Not to mention Hill’s past life, just the screw-ups between elves from Teraxil and human nobles were enough to write hundreds of third-rate romance novels.

In that moment, Saral’s matters suddenly replayed in Hill’s Mental Sea like a carousel.

Such an obvious warning, of course, Hill wouldn’t ignore.

Hill coldly smiled; people of Toril World, plotting other conspiracies, Hill might still worry a bit, but playing melodrama, this time he truly stood on the mountain, overlooking the world.

The silver moon hung in the sky, and the torrential rain couldn’t hide the light of Silvermoon; Hill didn’t know if Suren was watching this spectacle.

On the brightly lit commercial street, those girls were still sipping their cups of coffee.

They might have been a little moved.

Hill changed into a white-gold robe with blue trim that fit snugly, arranged his golden waist-length hair smoothly, and then landed beside a banyan tree at the end of the commercial street.

The dozen crystal lamps hanging from the banyan tree shone white under the rain canopy, turning the whole commercial street as bright as day.

As the first lady noticed his presence, Hill gently brushed aside the banyan’s aerial roots and smiled at the girls looking his way.

Amidst a chorus of gasps, Hill passed by the group of adventurers without a sidelong glance, casting a disapproving look at them.

He then turned back worriedly to check on the girls.

Ensuring the girls had noticed the contrast between Hill and those adventurers, he slowly walked out of the commercial street.

The adventurers, oppressed by his powerful magical presence looking uneasy and somewhat guilty and afraid, and the Deepwater City merchants who shrank back and dared not speak, all became the perfect contrast.

Hill walked out of the commercial street, heading towards the Undead Swamp.

The pouring rain instantly parted before him, and several Water Elemental Sprites happily greeted him.

They loved this kind of weather and the pure air next to Agleya Temple; seeing Hill, who called them to such a fun place, they were naturally overjoyed.

Accompanied by them, Hill waved his hand and released the ’Tide Dance Moon Welcoming.’

He rarely used this spell alone, but it was quite fitting for this moment.

The silver moonlight seemed to be drawn to the ground by Hill, instantly blurring the boundary between water and sky into one color.

The vitality within the thunderstorm and the purifying power of the Silvermoon merged into the Undead Swamp, with layers of moonlit waves rolling and surging.

Hill glanced sideways and saw Agleya, who had been notified by Marsha, now quietly floating above the Sea God Temple.

With her hands raised high, the Exquisite Sphere danced in the rain, shining as if it were another Silvermoon.

The gently dancing waves instantly transformed into a giant wave that smashed forcefully in front of Hill.

Onlookers in the commercial streets and hotel rooms couldn’t help but exclaim.

Hill stood motionless before the storm, the giant waves naturally parting in front of him, his platinum robe reflecting the moonlight, golden hair flying in the wind and rain.

It was as if a deity had descended.

Agleya raised her hand, creating a seven-meter-high steep slope to the north of the Tyr Temple, while on the other side, a cliff blocked the Bane Temple.

Water Elementals suddenly surged into the storm in the Undead Swamp, marking their first venture into the domain.

Everyone understood that this meant a thorough purification.

This place could no longer be called the Undead Swamp.

In just a few months, Agleya had completely purified her half.

”From now on, this domain can finally have its own name,” Hill said, looking up at Agleya holding the Exquisite Sphere, then turning to the onlooking crowd with a smile, ”In honor of the venerable Sea God for all she has done here, my domain will henceforth be known as ’Agleya’.

Now, please cheer for the beautiful Goddess, residents and friends of Agleya Town!”

His voice rang clearly throughout the entire domain, while the storm behind him directly turned into light drizzle, yet elsewhere, it still poured heavily.

This was the reward from the Toril World to this piece of land.

The Agleya Temple glowed blue in the drizzle, openly recognized by the Toril World.

This temple, now a place of miracles, commanded respect from all followers, unless they were enemies of Agleya.

In the Toril World, these deities, openly proclaimed enemies, could not be made lightly without justification, generally due to conflicts in the Law or direct confrontations with the deities.

Otherwise, the Supreme God AO would make them understand the consequences of speaking foolishly.

The light rain fluttered, and the water in the swamp slowly receded, revealing a long, white beach, connected to the blue, crystal-clear seawater.

All who heard and saw this could only remove their hats and bow: ”Thank you for the grace of Goddess Agleya!”

Agleya glanced back, then flew up from the temple, heading straight for the sky and the Floating Castle, the corner of her flowing gown gently brushing the transparent rain-hood, revealing her slender, tender ankles for a fleeting moment.

Suddenly, several loud ’thuds’ sounded on the commercial street. A few commoners forget to breathe, collapsing on the ground.

Sudden ethereal whale calls echoed through the heavens, bringing the astonished onlookers back to their senses.

Nine calls of the whale resounded, and the people of Hill’s Domain understood that henceforth, this would be the bell toll of Agleya Town announcing important events.

Hill nodded to the Paladin and Harpist looking his way, then flew directly back to the Floating Castle.

Lynn and Terry, called by Marsha, were already seated in the hall, congratulating Agleya.

From today, Agleya is recognized as the Sea Goddess by Toril, while the near Goddess of the Near Seas, Ambori, if she doesn’t want to end up a Demigod dying at the hands of some enemy, had better think of a plan.

But she might not currently have the courage to seek help from Talos.

Talos, always brutally fearsome, faced with an Ambori who had lost value, might choose to devour her directly and then trouble Agleya.

That said, Ambori’s chance was only these ten years.

During the fall of the Goddess of Magic, gods of the Stellar Realm also found it difficult to communicate with followers in the world.

The Weave was in disorder, and to maintain Its stability, the chosen of the Goddess of Magic and several related deities almost died together.

God knows how many Arcane Wizards went insane or even died explosively.

At that time, not only were many spells unusable, gods accustomed to using the Weave to deliver Divine Arts completely vanished.

Their followers could only make do with Level 3 Divine Arts.

Agleya and Hill, not deeply connected to the essence of Toril, would not be affected.

Ambori, however, was different. Her followers, obtained through coercion and inducement, might completely abandon her.

Hill felt that her only way to survive was to thoroughly transform into the Fishmen God.

Although there wasn’t much room for advancement and her image would become uglier, it was still a way to survive.

Hill walked into the hall happily pondering these messy issues: ”Today is truly a great day, isn’t it? We need to have a good meal.

List, prepare a feast with our treasured ingredients!”

Applause erupted within the hall; everyone was interested.
