Surviving The Fourth Calamity

Chapter 265: Chapter 68 The Grand Entrance of the Young Master and His Friends

By the time the elves had realized what was happening and decided to collectively take action to kill Saral, the Legendary Knight, the Undead Tribe had already used their bodies to construct several defense lines.

Over ten thousand Sky Knights formed a defensive line, a total of three lines.

Looking at their own side, despite having the numerical advantage, they had lost a total of four Legendary lives.

The Dwarven God of Forging in the sky finally couldn’t take it anymore and let out a howl.

He was summoning the Dwarven God associated with him for the assault on the Temple of Time and Space.

After all, the Legendary elves and dwarves outside the Royal Palace could barely move an inch within Clotho City.

There was simply no way they could come in as reinforcements.

The Undead Tribe had tens of millions of people outside!

The elves and dwarves thought they could easily annihilate the entire Clotho with just a few hundred Legends, which was sheer madness.

Hill heard from the Old Age Striking King and Xiao Liuliu that five Legends had already been killed outside, a pity the others escaped too fast. The Magisters were too slow in aerial combat.

Against deities, the Undead were indeed not very useful.

But against Legends, unless the elves and dwarves could deploy tens of thousands, there was no hope for victory against the Undead Tribe, adept at group combat.

For both races to be able to send out a few hundred Legends was already a dreadfully strong foundation.

Any other nation would have only one fate: annihilation.

But such a result occurred because the elves and dwarves could not imagine a king who would send his forces to protect his citizens rather than his own palace.

William didn’t care at all if the expensive palace was completely destroyed, nor did he think his wealth was more precious than human life; yet no such king had ever appeared in this world before.

Even the deities thought this way.

Their own possessions, even if it was just a stone, were worth much more than the lives of ordinary people.

The elves and dwarves made a misjudgment. They intended to destroy the foundation of the God of Time and Space’s faith in the Main World, without actually considering the possibility of completely killing William.

If the divine power of the God of Time and Space were to diminish, then the numbers of the Undead Tribe might not be maintained as they were now.

By then, even if the Gods of Time and Space wanted to make enemies of the Elf Deity System, there would be nothing to fear.

Unfortunately, William’s countermeasures were the exact opposite of what they had imagined.

He would rather risk himself than consider giving up the lives of the civilians.

Another Dwarven God soon arrived, and the first thing he did was to ignite a great fire and rush towards the Forest Array.

Hill tensely grabbed Fran and Adrian, ready to pull them into the pendant.

”Hey~” the Young Master shouted excitedly as he jumped out, ”A loud boom in the sky, and finally, it’s my turn to shine!”

Hill withdrew his hand as the Young Master flung out a spinning shell that grew in size.

Two Mosaic Demigods with fangs and claws leapt out, accompanied by torrential rain.

Hill heard a voice in his Mental Sea: ”Hey, little magician, hit me with a couple of those Water System Divine Arts. I’ve been holding back for far too long!”

Should they say that was typical of a Demigod closely associated with the Young Master?

That offbeat feeling was so familiar.

Holding back the urge to sigh, Hill directed several Tide Dance Moon Welcoming spells toward the direction of the Demigod.

He turned his head to see Adrian sneakily waving to someone in the distance, ”Your grandfather is watching you!”

Fran also relaxed; no one knew how William had managed to deal with these Demigods, but since the Mosaic was willing to step in, it meant that the Deep Sea Demigod had surely formed a complete alliance with William.

Hill guessed that William must have teleported there after the battle ended and the Undead were loitering around the Demigod Sea Turtle, using the Space-Time Warlock’s positioning.

William was very proficient at using Spatial Magic!

But on the other hand, did these two Mosaic Demigods mix in with their Legendary offspring and sneak into the Crystal Palace quietly?

Fran asked the Old Age Striking King standing by his side, ”When did these two sea monsters Demigods get here? Are there any more who haven’t shown up?”

”The Young Master’s Crystal Palace has a lot of recreational facilities,” said the Old Age Striking King with a somewhat strange expression, ”He bragged a while ago that at least half of the Deep Sea Demigods have disguised themselves as his offspring to have fun there.

Those few Mosaics later simply refused to leave.

The Young Master is entrusted with a significant task this time. While we were digging those tunnels, he was playing with the Mosaic Demigods in the nearby shell.

As for how many came, we don’t know either; William ordered the Young Master to keep it a secret.”

Hill curiously asked, ”What kind of recreational facilities do they have there?”

The Old Age Striking King laughed, ”Hill, go have some fun when you have the time. They’re replicas of the most famous sea entertainment in our world; you’ve never had anything like it before, so you’ll find it very new and enjoyable.

The Wenjian clan has many who like to stay at home and make handcrafted products.

There are heaps of these strange Alchemy Products that don’t really serve any practical purpose!

But you’ll probably figure out how it’s done with just one look.”

”Aside from being fun to play with, these things have no other use.”

Hill and Adrian were both very interested and sneaked a glance at Fran.

”You can go,” Fran said indifferently, ”but when you come back, each of you must make a copy for me.”

Hill nodded confidently, and Adrian hesitated for a moment before nodding too.

Hill knew what Adrian was worried about; Fran’s request to make a copy didn’t mean to duplicate the Undead Tribe’s amusement facilities without any changes.

It meant to create a set that had the same meaning but a completely different style based on their core.

Adrian, who always dealt with Alchemy Devices in a slapdash manner, never really thought things through.

”Hill.” A faint voice spoke to Hill through the Mental Sea.

Hill was a bit startled. Who was this now? How come everyone could connect to his Mental Sea?

”It’s me, William, Young William.” The voice said cheerily, ”I’m so sad! They say I’m the God of Entertainment, and they’ve carved my statues all over the amusement park. But have they ever considered my fragile heart? Isn’t it cruel to see but not be able to play?”

”Can’t Divine Power be replicated?” Hill asked curiously. Although he understood Young William’s meaning, he didn’t believe that Deities couldn’t replicate a few toys.

”Hey! With so little power, I barely have enough for my Divine Kingdom. I dare not waste it.” Young William said earnestly, ”My mom would kill me.”

”Great Deities don’t die,” said Hill, who didn’t know whether the Goddess of Joy didn’t want Young William to build an amusement park—he certainly wouldn’t offer help herself.

”Don’t worry. Mom just won’t let me waste Divine Power.” Young William chuckled, ”Ah, I’m the God of Entertainment, after all, playing is my Divinity! If only mom would let me stay with her in the same Divine Kingdom. I really don’t like being alone.

I’ve thought about it a lot. Most of those who worship me are children. They suffered so much in the Mortal World, and that’s why they come to my Divine Kingdom so early.

I want to turn the Divine Kingdom into a huge playground, so they can live happily!”

Hill remained silent. He would need parental permission.

”You’re overthinking it!” Young William said, ”But, mom said you’re a responsible person; that’s why you’re like this. Look, she’s nodding at you from the sky!”

Hill looked up. Indeed, the Goddess of Joy was busy but still nodded and smiled their way.

It seemed that the true forms of these two Deities in the Starry Sky were together.

”I didn’t expect that, even with Saral doing so well, there would still be so many children dying young,” Young William said quietly. ”My Divine Power is only enough to build a few beautiful palaces for them to play in.

Children’s faith isn’t that steadfast. Their souls might dissipate after a few decades in my Divine Kingdom.

So I want them to know what joy is before they dissipate.

But my power really isn’t enough!

You’re the only one who can help me; I know you can deliver things to the Elemental Realm!

I can ask the Clan Leader of the Space Element to help bring it over for me!

Don’t worry, I know Alchemists value equivalent exchange. I’ll have the Clan Leader bring enough Crystal Stones!” So how long have you been watching here? Hill thought to himself silently. Was Young William crouching here to protect this resurrection passage to the Temple of Time and Space?

”Okay.” Hill replied helplessly, ”Once I’m done, I’ll deliver it to the Earth Element Lord Korenden, but can they go to other Elements’ territories? Wasn’t it said that they haven’t been granted permission yet?”

”Those Element Lords have only decided to meet to discuss the existence of the space-time element.

They haven’t even decided where to hold the formal meeting! Before they come to a conclusion, the space-time element can actually go anywhere. After all, there’s no officially issued prohibition, they only said not to let the space-time element wander around at will, but if it really did go somewhere, they couldn’t manage it anyway,” Young William almost laughed out loud.

”Alright,” Hill said, also feeling helpless.

With this, by the time they finish discussing in the meeting, the space-time element would already be everywhere.

So is this meeting just for show and talk? How could they drive the time-space elements back then?

No wonder Korenden keeps saying he’s bored.

After receiving a satisfying answer, Young William went silent again.

The battlefield outside fell into a deadlock once more.

The Mosaic Demigod didn’t intend to fight to the death but just to prevent that Dwarven God from attacking the Forest Array or helping those Legends.

Hill just found it odd why Young William would come out and specifically talk to him.

He hadn’t even been to the Crystal Palace yet! If it was really like Young William said, his statues were everywhere, he could contact Hill at any time within the Crystal Palace.

There was no need to talk to him at such a tense moment.

So Hill looked at the Starry Sky thoughtfully.

What does that big shot up there want to do?

”Humph.” The Elven Goddess of the Hunt spoke again, ”Thinking that the brat didn’t come out, we wouldn’t feel him around? What’s the use of letting a child become a God!”

”My lord is a man of his word, clear about debts and grudges,” William scoffed, ”Jealous much? After doing so many dirty deeds for the Elven God King, turns out he’d rather have your Maid than you, eh?”
