Caught in Affairs with Superstar

Chapter 249: Chapter 211: Rising Phase: 47

Zhou Yun, arm in arm with Jin Su, made her way to the interview area.

Her face maintained a smile at all times, not showing any signs of being affected.

The host asked, ”Hello Zhou Yun, we see that you didn’t come alone today, may I ask who this is?”

”This is a good friend of Sister Wen Xi and me, Jin Su. I’m wearing such high heels today that I asked Sister Wen Xi to find me a male companion. He’s a new male model who has just debuted, even newer to the scene than I am, so please everyone, pay him lots of attention and support him.”

After finishing her statement with the microphone, Zhou Yun suddenly turned to look at the media area, ”Dear journalist friends, when you post photos later, if you post mine, please include at least a couple of photos of me and Jin Su, thank you all!”

Jin Su looked at her in surprise.

The host said with a smile, ”It seems that you two really are good friends. Media friends, please remember Miss Zhou Yun’s request.”

Zhou Yun smiled, ready to enter the venue with Jin Su.

At this time, the host suddenly turned to Zhou Yun again, saying, ”Miss Zhou Yun, may I interview you once more? You have so many fans, and there are many questions they want to ask you, may I take this opportunity to interview you?”

The host gave Zhou Yun a subtle wink.

Zhou Yun was taken aback, but quickly realized that probably the person supposed to follow her entry hadn’t been sorted out yet, so the host received instructions to let Zhou Yun stay for an interview a little longer.

Otherwise, the red carpet would be left empty again.

”Sure,” she nodded.

The host breathed a sigh of relief and showed Zhou Yun a grateful smile.

He really was afraid that Zhou Yun wouldn’t cooperate.

”We all know that you are going to shoot a movie with Li Ci next, can you reveal what the movie is about?”

Zhou Yun said, ”I can’t reveal too much about the movie at the moment, please keep looking forward to it, and you will know when it officially airs.”

”Xiao Yun and Li Ci are artists from the same company, how is your relationship?”

”Well, we are all very busy usually, so we don’t really have time to meet, but I do follow his updates, and I hope the shooting of this movie can make us good friends,” Zhou Yun said with a smile.

The interview lasted about five minutes before the host said thank you.

Zhou Yun looked back and indeed, another car had arrived.

She wondered who it could be.

Xu Siyao or Yu Sitian?

Zhou Yun walked towards the venue and when she was about to enter, she looked back.

From a distance, she saw Gu Huaichun walking from the red carpet side.

Zhou Yun was taken aback.

Ten minutes later, Zhou Yun waited for Gu Huaichun inside the venue.

”Why did you come in early too?” Zhou Yun asked her friend in surprise.

”Otherwise, should I just keep waiting?” replied Gu Huaichun.

”Neither Xu Siyao nor Yu Sitian are willing to come out?” Zhou Yun asked in surprise.

Everyone who had arrived inside was talking about what happened outside.

Including Wen Xi.

The creative director of ”Victor” just happened to pass by, heard Zhou Yun’s question, rolled his eyes, and said, ”They’re just two kids who don’t know the immensity of heaven and earth; I will definitely not work with these two people in the future.”

Zhou Yun didn’t know whether to laugh or cry.

”Oh my gosh.” Suddenly, someone with a phone exclaimed.

”Whose hand is Lew Qingqing holding? Boyfriend?”

”It shouldn’t be, I’ve never seen this person before.”

”But looking at those two, it seems like they’re in a relationship,” the models sitting behind Zhou Yun whispered excitedly as they gathered and discussed in surprise.

Zhou Yun was equally curious. She turned around and saw that they were watching the red carpet live broadcast. Zhou Yun took out her phone, opened the live stream, and just in time, she saw Lew Qingqing holding Li Qi’s hand as they stepped into the interview area.

The host looked at Lew Qingqing and Li Qi holding hands in surprise, seemingly taken aback by the scene, hesitated for a moment, and then asked, ”Qingqing, is this your friend?”

With a sweet smile on her face, Lew Qingqing said, ”Let me introduce him, he’s my boyfriend, Li Qi.”

Through the screen, Zhou Yun could hear the screams and commotion coming from the media and audience areas.

Zhou Yun was utterly shocked.

Lew Qingqing actually appeared in front of so many people holding Li Qi’s hand! She was announcing their relationship publicly!

”Holy cow, it’s really Lew Qingqing, after Su Yan snatched away the dress she had her eye on, she’s now stealing the spotlight tonight,” a woman Zhou Yun didn’t recognize couldn’t contain her excitement, her tone filled with the thrill of gossiping.

”I thought the climax of tonight would just be Xu Siyao refusing to walk the red carpet,” another woman beside her said equally excited, ”These female celebrities really outdo each other for attention.”

Zhou Yun shifted her gaze away.

At that moment, Wen Xi walked over.

”Thank you for helping me out with this,” she said to Zhou Yun with a smile, giving her a hug.

Zhou Yun smiled back, saying, ”No problem, where are you sitting? I was looking for you when I came in just now, but couldn’t find you.”

”I had an interview arranged beforehand, I was in another room,” Wen Xi sat down next to Zhou Yun, on a seat with Li Ci’s name on it, ”Just resting for a bit.”

”It’s quite lively tonight,” Wen Xi remarked with a smile to Zhou Yun.

Zhou Yun agreed, ”Yes, it is.”

Gu Huaichun was sitting on Zhou Yun’s right side. He said, ”You making a scene has gone hot on social media.”

”What?” Zhou Yun was taken aback.

Gu Huaichun handed her his phone, saying, ”A lot of netizens are praising you.”

Zhou Yun covered her eyes with one hand and said, ”Awkward.”

Wen Xi commented, ”You willing to walk the red carpet ahead of time indeed did them a big favor.”

”I didn’t feel like waiting either,” Zhou Yun said with a laugh, ”I mean, whether you go first or last, that order isn’t really something worth fighting over.”

”There will always be those who care, it’s not something that will stop being contested just because we say it’s not worth it.”

Gu Huaichun laughed heartily and said, ”Some people are saying it was intentional.”

”Intentional what?”

”Xu Siyao was acting like a diva, refusing to walk the red carpet according to the original order, they say you intentionally stepped in to overshadow her,” Gu Huaichun delighted in the misfortune.

”How petty.”

More people were entering the venue.

Many were mingling and taking photos together.

A lot of them approached Zhou Yun for small talk and photos.

Among those attending the event, although the majority walking the red carpet were celebrities, the guests of this New Fashion Night mostly belonged to the fashion industry.

Zhou Yun mingled briefly with many people as if she was observing flowers on horseback.

It wasn’t until Lew Qingqing came in holding her boyfriend’s hand that the whole place turned to look.

”Do you think Su Yan will let this go?” Gu Huaichun asked with interest.

”Let it go?”

”Lew Qingqing is publicly announcing her new boyfriend, that’s likely to steal all the headlines, wouldn’t Su Yan be unwilling to let Lew Qingqing eclipse her? I’ve heard that whenever the two of them are on the same stage, there’s bound to be a showdown.”
