The Female CEO's Personal Bodyguard

Chapter 450: Chapter 450 You don’t have a single word of truth in your mouth_1

”This driving skill, not bad, have you practiced?”

Sitting in the passenger seat, Leah Frost looked at Carson Flores with surprise, her face full of unexpectedness.

Carson glanced at the rearview mirror, took a turn, and drove into a small path: ”You could say I’ve practiced, pretty good.”

Leah laughed and patted her chest, saying with a smile, ”Not bad, not bad, I thought we were going to start fighting right then and there.”

Carson looked briefly at Leah with a somewhat strange look in his eyes: ”If they dare to block our door like that, they must have an Innate Grandmaster from the Vasquez Family in the car. How could we beat them if we really fought?”

Leah pursed her lips and smiled, ”We can’t just sit and wait for death, right? Fight first, talk later.”

Curiously, Carson asked, ”Aunt, you always say you can fight really well. What’s your level, Grandmaster? Great Grandmaster?”

Leah smiled and said, ”You’ll find out later.”

Since Leah wasn’t saying, Carson couldn’t either; he couldn’t just pry her mouth open and force her to tell.

Leah changed the subject: ”Where are we going now?”

Carson thought for a bit: ”To where I live, they probably can’t find that place.”

Leah asked, ”Is that Innate Great Grandmaster there?”

Carson shook his head: ”She lives on her own, outside. Our relationship is just one of cooperation, not particularly good.”

Leah let out an ”oh” and then asked, ”What are you planning to do next?”

Carson laughed: ”Now that we’ve started a war with the Vasquez Family, then let’s fight. They still have a few Great Grandmasters, right? We’ll take care of them first.”

Leah’s eyes brightened, her nephew was really ruthless and decisive!

Just like his father from what she remembered!

Leah crisply said, ”I’ll help you!”

Carson glanced at Leah, who smiled back at him, and suddenly he laughed.

”Alright!”

The car zigzagged and finally entered the underground parking of a residential complex.

He parked the car beneath the neighboring building and then walked through the underground garage to the elevator, taking it all the way up.

After entering the passcode lock, Carson pushed open the apartment door. Sitting on the sofa watching TV, Samantha Tate turned her head, her face erupting into a smile of pleasant surprise.

”Brother, you’re back...”

Just as Samantha stood up, she saw the charming and beautiful Leah Frost behind Carson, and her expression immediately became puzzled, ”Who is this?”

Carson glanced at Leah, whose expression was subtly changing, scratched his nose, and said somewhat awkwardly, ”Aunt, this is Samantha Tate, my girlfriend... Samantha, this is my aunt.”

Aunt?

Samantha panicked immediately, running to the door with a mix of enthusiasm and trepidation, greeting her with, ”Hello, Aunt.”

Samantha found slippers for Leah, who changed into them and looked Samantha over. Suddenly, Leah sniffed and a shallow smile appeared on her face. She turned to Carson, ”The elevator was crowded, huh...”

Carson smiled helplessly. Leah must have smelled the perfume on Samantha. He had lied before to cover it up, and now Leah had called him out on it.

”Ms. Tate, hello. Carson is really inconsiderate, coming all the way to Xijing but not taking you home...”

Samantha smiled, ”I’ve met Carson’s cousins; I even went to his cousin’s school to watch her perform.”

Leah froze: ”Xiao Hao, Tang Tang?”

Samantha nodded: ”Yes.”

Leah pointed at Carson with an accusing finger: ”You’ve been hiding things from your aunt, haven’t you?”

Carson chuckled awkwardly: ”No, I was planning to take Samantha to meet you all in a little while.”

”Hmph, not a single true word comes out of your mouth.”

Leah walked into the apartment, looking around: ”It’s quite spacious. Did your friend lend it to you?”

Carson explained awkwardly: ”I helped a friend with some stuff, and he felt bad, so he insisted on repaying me somehow. I asked him to find me a place to stay, and then he bought this apartment to give to me...”

Leah turned around in surprise and then laughed softly: ”You really can’t speak a true word, can you? So, that means all that talk about doing sales and being a security guard was all made up too?”

Carson shook his head: ”That part’s true, really. If you don’t believe me, ask Samantha.”

When Carson brought up doing sales and being a security guard, Samantha almost laughed, but it wasn’t a good moment to explain. After all, it involved her sister Shirley Miller, so she simply nodded and said, ”It’s true. He quit being a security guard not long before he came to Xijing.”

”A Great Grandmaster working as a security guard?”

Leah couldn’t help chuckling: ”It’s quite amusing to think about. You’re as outstanding as your father. But on second thought, you’re even more interesting than him.”

Unable to resist, Carson asked, ”What was my dad like?”

Leah thought for a moment: ”Handsome, charming, with a very attractive smile, decisive, and courageous... Well, these are my views now that I’ve grown up. As a child, I just thought he was great, enjoyed when he played with me and liked it when he patted my head...”
