The Female CEO's Personal Bodyguard

Chapter 412: Chapter 412 She Was Blinded by Love_1

Dawson Flores stared intently at Carson Flores, not uttering a word.

Ella Walters’ lips quivered as if she wanted to say something, yet she uttered not a single word, her eyes brimming with excitement.

Carson Flores stood calmly, neither humble nor arrogant, neither sad nor happy.

Carson Flores knew they had already recognized him; after all, he shared at least a seventy to eighty percent resemblance with his father, and at this moment, his age was about the same as his father’s when he had met these two elders.

Leah Frost was stunned, looking at Dawson Flores and then at Ella Walters, ”Dad, Mom, what’s wrong with you two?”

Dawson Flores inhaled deeply and stood up, ”Who are you?”

Carson Flores answered calmly, ”Carson Flores.”

Ella Walters gasped and quickly walked over, grabbing Carson Flores’ arm and staring intently at his face, ”Is Westin Flores your...?”

Carson Flores calmly responded, ”Westin Flores is my father, and Lucy Frost is my mother.”

Leah Frost stood up from the sofa abruptly, staring at Carson Flores in surprise, ”You are my second sister’s son?”

Carson Flores nodded slightly but did not say more.

The blood relationship was indeed correct, but whether they were family was still uncertain.

”It’s so alike... It’s as if he was cast from the same mold. I almost thought I saw little Lin just now, standing in the sunlight with almost exactly the same expression...”

Ella Walters’ eyes reddened and tears fell directly, ”Child, where are your parents? Didn’t they come? These heartless people, it’s been so many years since they left, the child is so grown up, can’t they bear to come back to see us?”

A twinge struck Carson Flores’ heart, and his expression changed slightly.

From the tone of voice, Ella Walters seemed to have no idea about the attack her daughter and son-in-law had faced?

Just as the Miller Family had said, the Frost Family clearly didn’t know about the father’s theft of the Heaven’s Prophecy jade and the subsequent attack!

Thinking it through, it did seem to make some sense.

The five Sects involved in the contest for the Heaven’s Prophecy jade on Mount Jiuhua were not weak in strength, but they couldn’t compare to the Frost Family. If the Frost Family Members had known they were hunting Lucy Frost and Westin Flores, how could the Frost Family Members have let it go?

The five Sects kept their mouths shut, and the mysteriously appearing Five Dragon Sect naturally wouldn’t talk, so it was entirely possible that the Frost Family Members were unaware of what followed!

Carson Flores’ thoughts raced, and he decided not to tell them the truth of what happened back then.

”I’ve never met them.”

Upon this statement, the three members of the Frost Family all showed a change in expression, and Dawson Flores, furrowing his brows, said, ”What do you mean by that?”

Carson Flores replied, ”I was raised by my master from a young age, and I’ve never seen my parents. It was only recently that I learned about my background from my master.”

Ella Walters’ voice trembled, ”You’ve never seen your parents since you were little?”

Carson Flores nodded, ”Correct.”

Not waiting for them to ask more questions, Carson Flores took the initiative to speak, ”I grew up with my master since I was a child. I spent the past five years serving in the military. After retiring and returning, I saw a message left by my master, which is how I learned about my origins. According to the message from my master, they should have been taken back to the place where my father was born. My visit today was in hopes of learning about my father’s background from you.”

Carson Flores half-truthfully turned his search for the truth into a narrative told by his master, deliberately steering the conversation towards his father’s background.

Carson Flores was convinced that the two elders definitely knew some information about his father, after all, according to Ella Walters’ words, his father had met them before, so it was impossible that he hadn’t shared anything before eloping with their daughter, right?

Dawson Flores’s expression changed slightly, and he sighed without answering Carson Flores’ question, instead asking, ”Who is your master, a Cultivator?”

Carson Flores replied, ”Ramon Wolf. He knows some martial arts and medicine. I practiced with him for a few years and later joined the military because of it.”

Ramon Wolf was Andrew’s actual name, maybe it was too plain, which is why he chose to rename himself Andrew. Andrew became a well-known name, naturally, no one would remember the name Ramon Wolf anymore.

Ella Walters wiped her tears and pulled Carson Flores to sit down on the sofa, ”Child, you’ve suffered! Now that you know your own background, you must understand that he is your grandfather, and I am your grandmother, and she is your aunt...”

Carson Flores hesitated for a moment, then slowly nodded.

Indeed, the blood relationship was exactly as such, and it couldn’t be erased.

Ella Walters held Carson Flores’ hand tightly, with a heartbroken tone, ”Your parents are ruthless, even if there really was some difficult hurdle they couldn’t get over, and couldn’t bring their child along, they should’ve sent you back to us for care. How could they be so heartless as to leave you with a stranger?”

Dawson Flores suddenly exclaimed in a huff, ”We should have forcibly brought her back then, it was you who stopped me from doing so. Now see, she left heartlessly with someone else, and the child was carelessly left to be raised by a stranger. In her heart, we, as her parents, probably don’t even compare to a stranger...

Carson Flores gently asked, ”Do you know where they went?”

Dawson Flores replied indignantly, ”Where else could they go? To your father’s place, of course, where no ordinary person can go. I tell you, she was just blinded by love!”
