The Female CEO's Personal Bodyguard

Chapter 403: Chapter 403: What’s meant for you won’t be less, don’t take what’s not yours_1

Carson Flores was slightly embarrassed, but he couldn’t deny that what Camille Rhodes said could very well become reality. However, things had come to this point, and it was a step-by-step process from here.

Carson Flores wasn’t in a rush.

Considering the time, it has only been a short three months since Carson Flores met Shirley Miller and Samantha Tate. To make a decision for a lifetime in such a period indeed wasn’t long.

Camille Rhodes laughed and said, ”A man’s ambition lies in all corners of the land. Successful men never stay in one place. I’ve long known that I can’t tie you down. Go ahead, and when I miss you, if you’re not back yet, I’ll come to Polgel to find you. After all, my dad has an office in the capital as well, and I have a place to stay when I go there.”

Carson Flores nodded, but he didn’t bring up the possibility of Camille Rhodes joining him.

Camille Rhodes wasn’t like Samantha Tate. Camille’s home was in Seashore, and she was the Young Miss of the Rhodes Family, managing many industries. It wouldn’t be fair to ask her to abandon all that and follow him to Polgel.

Samantha Tate came to Seashore for Carson Flores, and her enrollment in training classes was merely to keep herself from boredom. Moving to Polgel, for Samantha Tate, wasn’t much different from staying in Seashore.

Since leaving Polgel, for Samantha Tate, anywhere in the world would be the same, without any difference.

This was one of the reasons why Carson Flores paid special attention to Samantha Tate. A woman who left her comfortable living environment to follow a man to an unfamiliar place—if that man didn’t treat her well, could he justify her deep affection and sincerity?

”Alright, I’m just saying. Who knows, the task might be finished sooner rather than later.”

Camille Rhodes turned over and leaned in, her eyes shimmering like water: ”I don’t care, you’re leaving anyway, so you’ll have to satisfy me fully!”

Carson Flores laughed and said, ”Always remembering the good stuff and forgetting the bad, who’s afraid of who.”

Perhaps because she was going to part with Carson Flores, Camille Rhodes was bewitching and wild that night.

A sleepless night.

The next morning, Carson Flores made a call, and Tucker Tyler appeared in front of him at lightning speed after receiving it.

”Mr. Flores!”

Tucker Tyler hurried over to the table where Carson Flores was sitting, his eyes burning with passion and reverence.

Carson Flores was eating porridge and a bun, nodded his chin towards the empty seat opposite him: ”Sit down, have you had breakfast?”

Tucker Tyler swiftly took a seat, ”Not yet.”

Carson Flores smiled, ”Order whatever you want to eat.”

Tucker Tyler didn’t hesitate and directly ordered breakfast for himself too, also porridge and buns.

He had dealt with Carson Flores before and knew well what kind of person he was.

If he told you to eat, then you should eat freely and boldly. He wouldn’t use such small tricks to test if you were respectful or feared him.

Essentially, as long as you did what he asked of you, you wouldn’t have to worry about him deliberately causing you any trouble.

Carson Flores wasn’t in a rush to ask questions, leisurely enjoying his breakfast.

Tucker Tyler’s movements were much quicker, swiftly finishing his buns and porridge. He put down his chopsticks, wiped his mouth with a napkin, and sat up straight.

Only then did Carson Flores casually ask, ”What’s the situation now?”

Tucker Tyler reported efficiently, ”All the industries have been integrated, and we’ve done an internal cleanup. The new managers have mostly started their duties. While there are still deficiencies, they no longer affect the normal operation of the company.”

Carson Flores nodded, ”Mary is out handling affairs and might need a few months. During this time, you’ll act as her proxy, managing all the industries. No problems, right?”

Tucker Tyler’s eyes lit up, and without a second word, he agreed, ”I’ll do my utmost in every task!”

Carson Flores lit a cigarette and smiled, ”Mary dealt with the Miller Family with revenge as her initial intent, not for the sake of their industries. But now that she’s taken over, she can’t just let them be. After all, no one is enemies with money. As her representative, you ensure that you oversee and manage these industries well. When she’s back, whatever you want, be it a position, direct money, or even shares—as long as it’s not excessive, it’s no problem.”

Tucker Tyler nodded, ”Understood, Mr. Flores.”

Carson Flores warned with a smile, ”I want to make this clear: I won’t be stingy with what’s due to you, but if you take what you shouldn’t, it won’t be as simple as just spitting it out when the time comes.”

A shiver ran down Tucker Tyler’s spine as he seriously said, ”Mr. Flores, rest assured, I’ve watched you rise through the ranks from Polgel and I am aware of your capabilities and methods. Unless I wish to die, how would I dare to betray you in secret? Mr. Flores is a magnanimous person with broad horizons. As long as I work hard for Mr. Flores, he will not mistreat me, so why would I risk my life? Following Mr. Flores promises a limitless future. As long as Mr. Flores doesn’t dismiss me, I will remain a loyal follower, doing whatever you ask of me!”

Carson Flores chuckled, ”Alright, off you go then. If there’s anything, you can either call me or reach out to Old Mr. Miller.”

”Sure!”

Tucker Tyler stood up, just about to leave, when Carson Flores suddenly remembered something, ”Oh, by the way, how’s that college classmate of yours now that the Miller Family has fallen?”

Tucker Tyler responded with an awkward smile, ”She’s got nowhere to go for the time being, so she’s following me...”
