Chapter 438: Chapter 438: The Great Grandmaster of the Vasquez Family, Nothing Special! _1

East Spring Mountain is a sheer mountain.

On both the east and the west side, there are steep cliffs that rise over a thousand meters, while the southern face is a slope covered with woods. Only the northern side is relatively flat, with sparse trees and a winding path vaguely visible.

At 11 o’clock, a figure appeared on the northern side of East Spring Mountain, ascending along that winding path.

Dax Vasquez.

One of the nine Great Grandmasters of the Vasquez Family, who had fought to a mutual injury ten years ago. Since then, he secluded himself for cultivation and had not made a move.

Ten years ago, Dax Vasquez ranked fifth in strength among the nine Great Grandmasters of the Vasquez Family.

Unhurried, Dax Vasquez climbed the mountain and, before noon, finally reached the summit of East Spring Mountain.

Standing on the wide open space at the top, Dax Vasquez took out his phone and checked the time; it was nearly twelve o’clock.

He looked around and then dialed Carson Flores’s phone number.

The call connected, and the ringing sounded not through the earpiece but from the woods ahead.

Dax Vasquez’s pupils constricted as he hung up the call.

Carson Flores emerged unhurriedly from the woods and then stopped opposite Dax Vasquez.

At ninety-one, Dax Vasquez looked at the youthful Carson Flores, his gaze subtly shifting.

A Great Grandmaster at twenty-seven.

What was his own strength at twenty-seven?

Not even a Master, right?

He could only bully others with the advantage of years.

”You’ve arrived quite early. You didn’t come last night, did you?”

Carson Flores said with a smile, ”I’m on my own, whereas your Vasquez Family is quite the powerhouse, a large clan. Naturally, I have to be a bit cautious. What if you all came in a group to besiege me?”

Dax Vasquez said coldly, ”Do you think it would take a group to deal with you?”

Carson Flores said with a smile, ”Ten years ago, you ranked fifth among your Vasquez Family’s nine Great Grandmasters. Ten years have passed; I wonder where you rank now?”

Dax Vasquez smirked, ”I haven’t fought Finnegan Vasquez. If I can beat him, I’m first; if not, then I’m second.”

”So, you’re saying you’ve fought Camilo Vasquez, who’s ranked second?” Carson Flores asked with a smile.

Dax Vasquez smiled faintly, ”He’s not my match.”

After all, Carson Flores was already standing before him; Dax Vasquez had no need to hide anything anymore, because regardless, Carson Flores would die here.

He was the first move in a deadly gambit.

Even if he couldn’t kill Carson Flores, there would be other moves to follow.

Carson Flores was doomed to die today!

Of course, Dax Vasquez was confident in his own strength. When Carson Flores destroyed the Miller Family, he had just broken through to the Grandmaster Realm, and not much time had passed since.

Perhaps Carson Flores had a high starting point after his breakthrough, but Dax Vasquez didn’t believe that in such a short time, Carson Flores could reach the Peak Great Master level!

”The Vasquez Family is somewhat bullying the underdog here, sending a Grandmaster who is either close to the peak or has already reached it to fight me, a newly inducted Grandmaster of less than two months,” Carson Flores remarked with a click of his tongue.

Dax Vasquez sneered, ”Don’t make it sound so pitiable. You disabled Nash Acevedo of the Acevedo Family from Seashore and killed Solomon Vasquez, a Great Grandmaster of our family. Your strength has long surpassed that of an average Great Grandmaster. I must admit, you are a prodigy, a freak of nature, but no matter what you are, it ends here.”

Enthusiastic, Carson Flores nodded, ”Come on, let’s fight and then talk. The cliff here is very high. If you lose, I’ll throw you off it!”

Dax Vasquez stated coldly, ”The feeling is mutual, although I might just let you jump on your own.”

With the conversation at this point, there was no longer any need for further discussion.

After all, this was to be a life-and-death battle, and only one of them could live, the loser destined to be buried here!

Carson Flores’s expression gradually turned serious, and he lunged forward, charging at Dax Vasquez.

The fight began!

Carson Flores threw a punch.

Dax Vasquez didn’t dodge; he threw a punch of his own, colliding with Carson Flores’s fist.

This strike was a test for each other.

”Bang!”

Gang Qi exploded, turning into countless streams, shooting wildly in all directions like blade-sharp winds, instantly shredding the surrounding vegetation and leaving narrow, fine cuts on the ground.

Carson Flores took two and a half steps back to steady himself.

Dax Vasquez took two steps back.

Shock appeared in Dax Vasquez’s eyes. Although he had gained a slight advantage in that probing punch, it was only a slight one!

He hadn’t sent Carson Flores flying!

The gap in their strength was quite limited!

How had Carson Flores achieved this, having only entered the Grandmaster Realm not long ago?

Although he was still a bit short of being a Peak Great Master, he had been a Grandmaster for twenty-eight years!

Twenty-eight years!

Carson Flores was only twenty-seven, which meant when he was just forming in his mother’s womb, Dax Vasquez was already a Grandmaster. And now they were almost evenly matched!

Had he lived all these years for nothing?

On the other hand, Carson Flores’s eyes lit up, and his expression grew increasingly excited.

The Divine Elemental Pill was truly domineering!

It had completely transformed his physical condition, widened his meridians, allowing him to unleash more fierce attacks instantaneously in battle!

”Vasquez Family Great Grandmaster, not so impressive after all!”
