The Female CEO's Personal Bodyguard

Chapter 435: Chapter 435 I Did Miss Something_1

The entire dock was in utter silence.

”Plonk!”

Santino Vasquez directly knelt down, looking at Carson Flores with eyes full of terror, ”I’m just an ordinary person, I’m not even a Cultivator, please, spare me, I’ll leave the country immediately and never come back for the rest of my life...”

Carson Flores walked up to Santino Vasquez, squatted down in front of him, and looked him in the eye.

”As for today’s events, how many people in the Vasquez Family know about them?”

Santino Vasquez answered quickly, ”A lot of people know, even if you kill me, it’s useless.”

Carson Flores smiled faintly, ”Right, since many people know, then what’s the difference whether I kill one more of you, or one less of you?”

Carson Flores pointed at the three corpses on the ground, ”Do you think, after killing them, that there’s any possibility of reconciliation between the Vasquez Family and me?”

Santino Vasquez’s eyes grew increasingly desperate.

Indeed, he’d killed two Grandmasters and one Great Grandmaster of the Vasquez Family; would he care about adding one more ordinary person to the count?

He was doomed!

Santino Vasquez looked at Carson Flores with resentful eyes, ”I underestimated you, I am responsible for their deaths, I deserve to die, but you won’t be able to escape either, even if you are a Great Grandmaster, you will surely die, you can’t fight against the Vasquez Family!”

Carson Flores chuckled, ”Then can you tell me, how many Great Grandmasters does the Vasquez Family have, and how many Innate Grandmasters are there?”

Santino Vasquez, resigned to his fate, stared fiercely at Carson Flores, ”The Vasquez Family has nine Great Grandmasters, two Innate Grandmasters, you can’t run away!”

Carson Flores asked, ”Are those two Innate Grandmasters both in Xijing?”

Santino Vasquez laughed coldly, ”One is not here, but what does it matter? It’s enough to kill you with just the Great Grandmasters alone unless you flee the country, find some place to hide and never come back for the rest of your life, otherwise, you will die!”

Carson Flores chuckled, ”You’ve actually given me a good idea there, this method isn’t entirely unfeasible, after all, I have no ties, I can go anywhere, find a small country, with my strength, wouldn’t I be the king there?”

When Santino Vasquez heard Carson Flores say that, he immediately wanted to slap himself.

Why had he reminded him?

He had no family or kinsfolk, just one person; if he really took Shirley Miller and fled abroad, who could find him?

Carson Flores thought for a moment, ”Santino Vasquez, I have a question for you...”

Santino Vasquez gritted his teeth but remained silent.

The shadow of death was looming, every minute he felt was agonizing.

Carson Flores stared at Santino Vasquez and said, ”You are just an ordinary person, not even a Cultivator, what makes you think you can be superior to others, assuming you can control the lives of others, their fates?”

Santino Vasquez didn’t answer, because he didn’t know how to.

Perhaps, it was the family?

Just as Carson Flores had said, the family gave them countless opportunities to make mistakes. Even if they erred, it didn’t matter; take care of the problematic people, then there’s no problem, right?

Human lives were cheap in their eyes, like the poor were just weeds to the rich, stepped on without a thought, did they need a reason?

When you see ants crawling on the ground and you’re in a bad mood, you crush them with your foot, do you need a reason?

Carson Flores said indifferently, ”Now you, just like those you regard as ants, are equally helpless in the face of death, wealth, a powerful family, they cannot prevent your death, perhaps this is the greatest fairness from the heavens.”

Carson Flores’s hand squeezed Santino Vasquez’s neck, ”Be a better person in your next life, if you have the chance to be one, that is...”

”Crack!”

Santino Vasquez’s head drooped, and the light faded from his eyes.

Carson Flores stood up, walked around, and found a Mercedes-Benz sedan, took the car keys from Santino Vasquez’s body, threw all four people into the car, fastened their seat belts, put several big stones inside the car, and then drove toward the seaside.

Carson Flores leaped out of the car, but the vehicle kept speeding forward, crashed into the sea with a bang off the dock, and quickly sank, vanishing into the dark sea.

Carson Flores stood on the dock, watching the sea return to calm, then went back to the Ferrari, got into the car, started it, and silently left the dock, quickly blending into the glittering city lights.

As the Ferrari’s silhouette completely disappeared into the distance, a figure suddenly emerged from the shadows at the top of the fifty-meter high steel tower.

The figure was slender, with long hair dancing in the night breeze, and her black dress swaying. The flickering lights illuminated her enchanting face.

”I was wrong! This kid has actually become a Great Grandmaster already, and his methods are ruthless and decisive. It turns out my worries were unfounded.”

”The Vasquez Family is probably going mad now, haha, it’s suddenly become interesting!”

The woman stretched her form, then suddenly leaped down from the fifty-meter high tower.

In the night wind, the woman’s body seemed weightless, drifting with the breeze, slightly bent her body, landed firmly on the ground, then walked steadily into the darkness until she completely disappeared.

The dock was quiet as before, as if no one had ever been there.
