The Female CEO's Personal Bodyguard

Chapter 418: Chapter 418: This face is asking for a slap!_1

Khalil Baker’s behavior was just like those villains in TV shows who wouldn’t survive past the third episode.

Even if it was the first time Carson Flores had seen Khalil Baker, he had to admit that Khalil Baker’s face was extremely slappable!

Stealing someone else’s girlfriend, what the hell, that’s a grudge over a stolen wife, the kind where hatred maxes out instantly!

And he wasn’t satisfied yet, he even dragged Ariya Steele in front of Nathaniel Frost, publicly displaying affection and taunting Nathaniel, really too much.

Naturally, Nathaniel could not tolerate it, suddenly standing up, ”Khalil Baker, are you fucking itching for a beating?”

Khalil Baker laughed and swept his gaze over everyone at the booth. Probably because Carson was a new face, he lingered for an extra moment.

”Yo, Lillian Frost, is this your boyfriend? He looks a bit old, huh.”

Lillian Frost rolled her eyes, ”Fuck off, he’s my brother.”

Khalil Baker teased, ”Where did this ’brother’ of yours pop up from, a ’sweetheart brother’ or a ’sworn brother’?”

”Fuck!”

Nathaniel cursed, hurling a glass of wine directly at Khalil Baker.

The attack was so sudden, Khalil Baker couldn’t dodge in time, and his face was drenched.

Khalil Baker turned his head to look at Nathaniel, wiped his face, flicked the wine off his hand, and chuckled, ”Yo, you’re getting impatient, huh? Fine, since we both can’t stand each other, tonight, this bar, only one table can stay!”

Nathaniel, unfazed, responded, ”Great, that’s exactly what I want.”

Khalil Baker raised his finger, waved towards a table not far off, and then said, ”I’ll be waiting outside, don’t chicken out.”

After saying that, Khalil Baker, with an arm around that beautiful woman, turned and walked out. Meanwhile, the people at Khalil Baker’s table also stood up one after another, headed outside, all of them giving provocative glares as they looked over here.

With a grim face, Nathaniel got up, ”Bros, let’s go. If we win, we stay and drink slowly, if we lose, I’ll treat everyone to ’Wan Zun’s complete package deal’, tonight on me!”

Carson Flores found it amusing; these people’s conflicts differed from those he had experienced before.

Today’s dispute, in the end, was all about face.

The winner stays to continue drinking, the loser gets lost.

The fight hadn’t even started yet, and Nathaniel had already planned for the outcome of the fight. And his drinking buddies didn’t seem at all surprised, obviously having been through similar situations many times before.

Everyone got up and headed outside, Nathaniel turned and instructed, ”Lillian, stay with cousin, don’t get involved.”

Lillian grunted in agreement, pumped her fist in the air, ”Big bro, go for it!”

Carson kept silent, following Lillian, as a crowd swarmed out of the bar.

Khalil Baker and his group were already arrayed outside, with five or six people standing in the center of a circle, clearly ready to start the fight, while their female companions stood on the sidelines holding their phones and bags, serving as both spectators and cheerleaders.

Pretty organized!

Carson thought it was quite interesting and asked, leaning over, ”Can you win?”

Lillian shook her head, her face full of anticipation, ”Don’t know, we’ll see after we fight!”

Carson looked at Lillian’s gleaming eyes and chuckled inwardly. The Disciples of the Cultivator Families, each and every one of them, were not the types to shy away from trouble. Even among the women, there was a violent streak running in their blood.

His own aunt, too, didn’t her words reveal she was quite the thug?

Nathaniel and his group faced off against Khalil Baker, he sneered, ”I’ve wanted to beat you up for a while but never got the chance. Today’s just perfect for fulfilling that wish.”

Khalil Baker, arrogantly sneering, ”Who beats whom is not yet decided. Don’t start crying later when you get beaten into a pulp in front of the woman you like.”

Khalil’s mention of Ariya Steele made Nathaniel’s face grow even darker, he sneered back, ”Enough talk, guys, let’s do them in!”

Both groups then immediately became entangled in a fierce brawl.

Carson swept his gaze over the scene and couldn’t help raising an eyebrow.

He had originally thought that being from Cultivator Families, their strength would at least be decent, but the reality before him told Carson that even among the wealthy Cultivator clans, not every Disciple was capable of becoming a skilled Cultivator.

All these people clearly had some training, and if it were against ordinary folks, beating four or five single-handedly would be a piece of cake, but to call them experts would be totally off the mark.

Several in the group had indeed developed Inner Qi, but that was just it—they barely stepped into the threshold of the Inner Qi realm.

In Carson’s eyes, this was like watching a bunch of kindergarteners brawling in front of him.

”Bang!”

Nathaniel, who clearly loathed Khalil Baker, took a punch from Khalil and got in close. With a kick, he sent Khalil flying, then chased after him, beating him relentlessly.

Nathaniel was not much stronger than Khalil Baker, but he had the advantage of being more reckless.

Even after taking a heavy punch, he seized the initiative, and soon Khalil Baker was on the ground, receiving a hammering.

Khalil Baker curled up, protecting his head and face, enduring Nathaniel’s onslaught and shouting for help at the same time, ”Han, help me out here!”

A young man who had been standing on the sidelines with his arms crossed, watching with amusement, chuckled and stepped into the fray.

Jakob Compton kicked his opponent down and lunged at the young man, but the young man sidestepped the attack with a swift dodge and delivered a kick that landed squarely on Jakob’s behind.
