Three Towers Game

Chapter 332: Revised: Chapter 121 To Catherine_3

He no longer paid attention to Blind, but instead started reading the island guest proposal.

”Dear Mr. Charles, in light of your excellent performance at the party, we have a piece of news to share with you: in three months, a disaster will sweep across the entire world.”

”Of course, it won’t be a disaster for us. All of this is to wipe out the inferior genes of this world.”

”And you, congratulations, your genes are so excellent that you’ve earned our recognition. You will be granted the qualification to reproduce in this world.”

”I believe that in a few years, there will no longer be inferior genes or low-class people in this world. Everywhere will be populated by our elite descendants.”

”You can start working on your apocalypse safe house now, but we hope you can be more imaginative instead of just hiding in a stronghold waiting to die.”

After reading all this, Wen Xishu seemed to understand.

”It seems that Charles learned about the apocalypse in advance by becoming an island guest. The arrival of the apocalypse, in the game’s background story... is the extreme atrocity of a group of radical racists. They created a potion to wipe out others.”

”Having discovered this, the next step is probably to go to the locations of the ten skull heads one by one, witness the ugly faces of one repulsive person after another, and eventually find the person who initiated the virus...”

Wen Xishu quickly found evidence supporting his guess in Charles’s computer, along with the contact information of various island guests.

Charles had labeled each of them with different tags.

Charles himself was in charge of gambling. There were also those responsible for food, solving sexual desires, various travel entertainments, and providing high-tech equipment to enjoy the thrill of killing zombies.

The strange and peculiar items that the players used their assets to purchase came from the players’ desires...

But when the players died, these things would become the possessions of the island guests.

Apart from Charles, Wen Xishu also found twelve other island guests offering various different apocalypse experiences.

There were thirteen of them in total, referred to as the ”Thirteen Disciples.”

Above the Thirteen Disciples, there was the ”True God.”

The story had a hint of a post-apocalyptic version of Assassin’s Creed at this point.

The assassination list had already appeared, but Wen Xishu wasn’t optimistic:

”It seems that the game’s process is much longer than I anticipated. Although the map is restricted to Wind City, going from one stronghold to another... I’m afraid I won’t have enough time.”

Wen Xishu could imagine the next steps, taking over Charles’s enterprise—the Zombie Arena.

Then slowly blending in to become someone as despicable as Charles, eventually gaining the trust of the other island guests, thereby obtaining the qualification to assassinate them.

The game players would also experience various ”pleasures” of the apocalypse following the different assassination lists.

Including but not limited to, bloody massacres, debauchery, and various enjoyments.

Simply put, after killing Charles, the dragon slayer would have to become an evil dragon themselves to qualify to enter the dragon’s lair.

Only in this way could one kill the other evil dragons.

At this moment, Wen Xishu suddenly understood John’s intention in designing the game.

In fact, the apocalypse in the form of ”Doomsday” wasn’t as uninteresting as Wen Xishu had told John.

In this game, players needed to continuously make evil decisions, gradually becoming more evil themselves, even becoming an evil entity in order to clear the game.

This might also illustrate that John actually agreed with the world’s operational rules. One must first acquire money to defeat those who have it.

Perhaps John would realize it himself before long, but the arrival of the apocalypse wouldn’t give him that time.

”Less than seven days... to do so many things, this is really not easy.”

”Currently, if I want to achieve a level-six completion, I still have to keep pushing the tasks forward.”

”If I’m just trying to survive... after killing Charles, no, actually after defeating Duan Donghuo, I’d already be safe.

”Of course, not to mention the possibility of other anti-cheating mechanisms in the game.”

Wen Xishu looked at the computer, pondering his next steps, thinking about how to kill all the island guests in the shortest time, when a spark of inspiration struck him.

”How could I have forgotten it.”

Wen Xishu remembered; he still had an Easter egg. In the CG, he had seen the Easter egg John handed to Catherine.

Without hesitation, Wen Xishu prepared to head to the location of the Easter egg.

Wen Xishu was not unfamiliar with the place, an office building near Wind City University. It was where John and Catherine, along with six other people, used to work together.

”I can’t hide my strength and waste time anymore.”

Although only three days had passed in the Deceit Tower, far from the seven days’ deadline, Wen Xishu still felt time was pressing.

He left the Golden Mansion in a very straightforward and brutal manner.

The 61st to 70th floors of the Golden Mansion were extremely sturdy, but this design was actually stupid.

Because once any lower floor was destroyed, the upper building would also be difficult to survive.

The elevator, which reached the 70th floor, only went down to the 61st floor, so Wen Xishu took the elevator to the 61st floor.

Along the way, Wen Xishu encountered many people, who were shocked to see that his neck was no longer wearing a collar.

But thinking of the boss’s excessive fondness for Number 245, it all seemed logical again.

Due to Wen Xishu’s previous excessive cooperation, everyone believed Number 245 was the same kind of person as the boss.
