Three Towers Game

Chapter 342: Revised: Chapter 123 Settlement of 1 Month of Hard Work Results

The Great Devourer is coming.

The impact of those words was immense. Albert had originally thought that this young man had reached level six again and maybe had gained some special rewards this time.

But the result was a single statement of bad news.

Albert’s face turned grim:

”I am not very familiar with the guide of the Deceit Tower, but the guide of the Slaughter Tower is very courteous to me. Recently, when I ascended the tower, I didn’t cause any commotion. He also didn’t provide me with any useful information. Did your information come from the guide of the Deceit Tower?”

The black Deceitful Head actually doesn’t pay attention to the old headmaster?

From this perspective...

It seems understandable why he said to himself ”hard to say,” ”can’t say good,” and ”saying bad,” three consecutive times.

Wen Xishu said:

”Yes, the guide of the Deceit Tower explicitly told me that the Great Devourer would happen soon...From him, I learned some information about the Great Devourer. So I came to talk to you about it.”

Albert said:

”About the Great Devourer, what do you want to know?”

Wen Xishu said:

”Can the Great Devourer be understood as the tasks of the Deceit Tower being transferred to the Bunker?”

Albert nodded:

”Yes, it can be said so. The Great Devourer will show many vortices, and these vortices will continuously devour people in the Bunker.”

”These vortices are generally distributed at the lowest level, the higher the level, the fewer the vortices.”

”Each vortex can show some clues based on the different Anti-Magic Values. If we ignore these vortices, they will continue to grow larger, absorbing surrounding things, including people or buildings. The worst outcome is that a certain level will be completely destroyed - not destroyed, to be precise, but directly disappear.”

”For instance, the functional layer of the second level becoming the residential layer of the first level. Of course, such a thing has only happened once in history.”

”At present, we take proactive combat measures against the Great Devourer. We won’t let such things happen anymore. Even if we pile up lives, we will make sure to dissolve the vortices.”

Wen Xishu did not expect the Great Devourer to be so violent.

It seems intent on making the Bunker disappear. Looking at it this way, it’s indeed considered the world’s counterattack against the Bunker through the Three Towers.

”Then, will the number of vortices be very many?”

Albert nodded:

”Very many. There will be a lot of vortices, and they are classified by color levels. I think you are familiar with the color grading system, right?”

Wen Xishu had apparently guessed:

”Are you saying...like the mechanism of equipment and items?”

Albert nodded:

”Yes, the orange vortices are the hardest to dissolve, while purple ones are slightly easier but still offer a high risk of death. Blue ones are relatively easier, but one still needs to be careful as they are filled with dangers.”

”The simplest are white vortices. White vortices have a significantly lower mortality rate and are the easiest to tackle by piling up lives.”

Wen Xishu had learned a first-hand lesson.

”Do we need to dissolve all the vortices?”

Albert shook his head:

”Not necessarily. If we did, we wouldn’t have enough people in the Bunker to die.”

”Eliminating all vortices is actually unrealistic. If we’re lucky and some elite achieves a high completion rating in a high-level vortex, it will significantly speed up the progress of defending against the Great Devourer.”

”In short, while there will be a lot of vortices, we only need to eliminate a portion of them to prematurely stop the Great Devourer.”

”Typically, we would arrange a large number of personnel to charge white vortices. I, along with those few elders from the Elder Council and my old friends, will find ways to enter purple or blue vortices.”

Albert became a legend because he once turned the tide alone during a Great Devourer, destroying multiple vortices like a War God.

Now it seems that the old headmaster is indeed the number one in the Bunker. Below the old headmaster, there are old friends and a few elders from the Elder Council.

They must all be skilled tower climbers.

And very likely ahead of people like Xun Hui, the hidden legends of the Bunker.

Above Xun Hui is the old headmaster, but the gap between them is vast, making it difficult to bridge the levels in between.

Wen Xishu had figured out that the few elders from the Elder Council should be at this level.

”Did Wen Chaohua contribute in the Great Devourer?” Wen Xishu suddenly asked.

”Haha, that’s a sensitive topic. I won’t answer that. As I’ve said, I won’t discuss anything about Wen Chaohua. You’ll have to collect and feel it yourself. Let’s get back to the Great Devourer. We should now consider how to deal with the Great Devourer.”

Albert brought the topic back, and Wen Xishu had a feeling...

Maybe the old man knew that Wen Chaohua had some hidden intention, but he couldn’t figure it out. And Wen Chaohua must have committed some extremely bad actions.

So much that the old man completely refuses to mention this person, although there might still be some deep expectation within.

Wen Xishu didn’t dwell further, saying:

”So, if I can dissolve an orange vortex, will it significantly speed up the process of stopping the Great Devourer?”

Albert and Jabbar both looked at Wen Xishu. Jabbar laughed:

”Heroes emerge from youth, this spirit reminds me of the headmaster’s demeanor from back in the day.”

”Hahaha, very good, very good. If you really achieve that, you’ll be the hero of the Bunker.”

Albert was very pleased with Wen Xishu’s response. He had great expectations for his three former disciples.

In this world, there is no eternal life, and the Three Towers can’t reverse life and death. He knew that one day he would die.
