Three Towers Game

Chapter 333: Revised: Chapter 121 To Catherine_4

They were having a great conversation with no conflicts whatsoever.

Thus, Wen Xishu encountered no obstacles all the way and, after arriving at the sixty-first floor, Wen Xishu began to head towards the sixtieth floor.

There were not many zombies on the sixtieth floor, as quite a few had been cleared out.

The exterior of the sixtieth floor was a glass wall, and Wen Xishu didn’t have the time to fight from the sixtieth floor all the way to the first floor...

This was a skyscraper with ten skulls, hiding too many zombies, and Wen Xishu didn’t think he could kill them all.

His plan was to kick and shatter the glass in one extreme kick, then jump directly from the sixtieth floor, approximately two hundred meters high, down to the ground!

With the powerful leg strength endowed by his extreme kick and the max-level human attribute panel, Wen Xishu plummeted to the ground like a cannonball.

He only felt a bit dizzy, but his legs were unharmed and he quickly shook off any discomfort.

”With these attributes, if I hadn’t encountered Scorpio in Desire Tower, I’d be an absolute powerhouse.”

Wen Xishu felt a bit regretful, thinking he should have at least gone to slap the teacher who stole John’s work.

If there was any villain in this story, it would probably be that teacher.

Moving on, Wen Xishu didn’t hold back anymore; this game was about to become a classic.

He was essentially in a special Deceit Tower space, completing a challenge that no longer existed on the fifteenth floor.

To complete the mission, Wen Xishu wasn’t going to reserve any effort.

He dashed ahead, with zombies chasing behind him. Occasionally, when encountering a witch-level mutant, Wen Xishu would directly use his extreme kick combined with killer soccer techniques.

The killer soccer ball traced a golden arc in the air, directly blowing off the witch’s head.

As for other ordinary zombies, Wen Xishu disdainfully left them in the dust with his speed.

It was a wild run across Wind City, attracting nearly a third of the city’s roaming zombies.

Behind Wen Xishu was a vast, dense horde of zombies.

But as Wen Xishu approached that old office building, the zombies suddenly vanished.

Wen Xishu then realized...

It turned out that the initial campus was actually the old campus of Wind City University, and the biggest Easter egg in the game was in this office building not far from Wind City University.

This was a place where countless university students once harbored their dreams.

Wen Xishu discovered that there were also quite a few zombies here, and even the building itself was marked with two skulls.

Yet once inside, the zombies began to disappear. Everything seemed like an illusion.

Or rather, it looked more like a protective mechanism for the people inside the building.

When Wen Xishu reached the ninth floor, he gently knocked on the door.

No one responded; after a while, Wen Xishu knocked again.

This time, the person inside, finally convinced that it wasn’t an illusion or hallucination, opened the door.

The boundary between illusion and reality was found by Wen Xishu at this moment.

”Who... who are you?” The woman was very surprised.

The door hadn’t been knocked on in a very long time, and she had been waiting here for a very long time, but she already knew that the person she was waiting for wouldn’t knock.

Of course, Wen Xishu knew the woman, although she had never seen him.

To his surprise...

Was Catherine an NPC? Was she not real? A question mark appeared over Catherine’s head.

”Catherine, I’m John’s friend, John Leon.”

Hearing John’s name again, a bit of life returned to Catherine’s melancholic eyes.

”So, apart from John, someone else managed to find this place. Come in quickly.”

[Hidden Task: Catherine’s Decision.]

Since this was still in the original game, Wen Xishu knew that this mission, once triggered, wouldn’t provide any description for the player.

But this time, unlike all his previous tasks, the player didn’t have to bear the cost of choice.

Because the task had only one option.

Wen Xishu suddenly had a bad feeling as he walked through the door, and it was at this moment that he clearly felt... he was completely cut off from the outside world.

The scene inside made Wen Xishu marvel.

”These... these doors are...”

There were many glowing doors inside, making Wen Xishu feel like he had arrived at the guide’s place.

Catherine smiled; she hadn’t smiled in a long time, and her smile was a bit stiff.

”These are the entrances to the worlds of his favorite games.”

Wen Xishu was stunned.

Catherine began to introduce the doors one by one, and at this moment, her eyes regained some of their luster.

Behind these doors were the worlds of games. There was a world of Monopoly, a world of Tank Battles, a world of Contra, a world of Destiny of an Emperor, a world of Hot-Blooded High School, there was Gold Miner, Kirby, Sonic, and Bomberman...

Each door led to a fantastic journey. The doors would periodically update, some new ones would appear, and some old ones would vanish. Sometimes, those old doors would reappear.

This was John’s gift to Catherine, a unique space, a place where the apocalypse couldn’t reach as long as she didn’t want to leave.

At the same time, this place contained all of John’s joy; his happiest moments were spent traveling through various game worlds.

He gave Catherine what he thought was his most interesting gift, his innermost hopes.

Catherine said:

”I’ve played through all the games many times; those games where you have to run and jump, I can now complete with my eyes closed.”
