Three Towers Game

Chapter 316: Chapter 119: If You Can’t Even Trust a Game

Desire Tower, Rest Area.

Wen Xishu was already extremely familiar with the process before him. Ignoring all the various calls, he directly headed towards the Celestial Essence Region.

The Desire Tower was still easier to navigate than the Deceit Tower. Even on the fifteenth floor, Wen Xishu wasn’t the closest to the center position.

He jogged all the way to the center position. This time, Wen Xishu was quite surprised. Why was there such a long queue in the center position? It seemed like everyone in the rest area had gathered in the center.

A large team dungeon in the Desire Tower?

No, that shouldn’t be possible.

Wen Xishu soon found the reason.

This time, he unexpectedly encountered the Bunker’s heartthrob, Wenren Mirror, in the rest area of the Desire Tower.

Everyone around had come for Wenren Mirror. Wenren Mirror was definitely not like Xun Hui. Few people knew what Xun Hui looked like, and Xun Hui had a very irritable personality. Faced with this situation, Xun Hui would directly tell these people to leave.

But Wenren Mirror patiently answered various strategies. Under Wenren Mirror’s instructions, everyone lined up in an orderly manner, thinking that although there was no risk on their current Desire Tower level, it would still be good to get some advice from Wenren Mirror and collect more resources.

At this time, Wen Xishu did not line up and played the role of the villain who cut the line:

”Fifteenth floor, Senior Wenren, Wind City, keyword, post-apocalyptic survival game. Any guides?”

Wen Xishu’s behavior of not queuing immediately aroused the crowd’s discontent. Some of Wenren Mirror’s female fans even began to curse him.

But Wenren Mirror just smiled:

”Ah, Wenxun, it’s you. Come over quickly. Apologies everyone, my friend is here. I may not be able to answer your questions for a while. Please don’t follow us.”

Wenren Mirror then greeted Wen Xishu and took him away directly.

This treatment left Wenren Mirror’s fans stunned.

Due to Wenren Mirror’s personal charm, no one would be dissatisfied with Wenren Mirror’s apparent favoritism. They would only think: Lord Wenren is really considerate of his friends.

But everyone was indeed surprised, who exactly was this person?

Wen Xishu suddenly became the center of attention.

In fact, many students from the Desire Tower Academy recognized Wen Xishu. Wasn’t this the Wenxun who once went to the Desire Tower Academy’s forbidden grounds with Xun Hui?

Wen Xishu said:

”Now, when I go back to school, there will probably be even more rumors, right?”

Wenren Mirror smiled gently and said:

”You should soon be able to reclaim your name, so these rumors shouldn’t trouble you too much.”

Wen Xishu didn’t expect that Wenren Mirror had seen through his intention on this level.

Wenren Mirror continued:

”Regarding the task you mentioned earlier, I’m sorry, but I can’t help you with it.”

”Since you’re here, you must have received the invitation letter, right?”

This time Wen Xishu didn’t deny it and nodded.

Wenren Mirror smiled and said:

”Then our entry points are different. Even though I have a high Luck Value and can directly mark key figures, I didn’t go through the Deceit Tower. The timing of my appearance is also off.”

”For this task, as someone who only climbs the Desire Tower, we are required to find a way to clear a game. A zombie survival game.”

”But this game has many issues and can’t be cleared.”

Wen Xishu frowned, unable to clear it?

”Why can’t it be cleared? Is it very difficult?”

”Not really. It’s because this is not a single-player game but an online game. Do you understand online games?” Wenren Mirror asked.

Since there wasn’t much concept of gaming in the Bunker, most people didn’t know the difference between single-player and online games.

But Wenren Mirror was someone who liked to study the knowledge of the Desire Tower World.

Wen Xishu nodded:

”I know. Online game, no wonder. Online games can’t be cleared in the traditional sense. At most, you can be the first to clear a dungeon or rank first on a leaderboard. Online games always receive periodic updates, and you only have seven days, so it’s impossible to expect the game company to release all subsequent expansion contents within seven days.”

A series of professional terms surprised Wenren Mirror. He said:

”Little Tree, may I call you that? Were you really foolish before?”

Wen Xishu steered the conversation back:

”Senior Wenren, let’s not talk about my past. Just know that my illness is cured. By the way, how did you solve the problem?”

Wenren Mirror said:

”I studied the mechanics of online games. Since it’s all about making money, I used the sequence and my personal abilities to...acquire the company within seven days. I forced them to give me an ending.”

Huh? Can this method even work?

Now it was Wen Xishu’s turn to be shocked. Is this actually possible?

Using the sequence and personal charm to earn enough money to take over a company within seven days, and forcibly have a game release all its story content...

Wenren Mirror’s way of breaking the game in the Desire Tower indeed felt like having a kind of violent aesthetic similar to Xun Hui.

But Wenren Mirror seemed a bit embarrassed:

”It’s quite embarrassing actually. By the time I did all this, it was already the seventh day, and I was about to go back. So...I didn’t get to clear the game. Besides, the actual game performance didn’t match the promotional content.”

Wen Xishu didn’t know how to comment on this Desire Tower experience. It felt like conquering the world with one’s own strength, only to die from a cold.

If Wenren Mirror had truly managed to clear the game, could it be that someone climbing only the Desire Tower could achieve a level six completeness score with mere individual effort?
