Doctor: I Can Synthesize Infinite Entries

Chapter 346: Chapter 233: Entering the Imperial Capital! Piercing the Heavens

Once Jin Pharmaceutical Group had completed its equity restructuring, the dust settled.

The company’s original shareholders clutched their share transfer agreements, their emotions mixed.

From an emotional standpoint, it was a shame to give up one of the few domestic pharmaceutical companies that insisted on independent research and development.

In particular, Jin Yihong and Lou Musaang’s pharmaceutical philosophy, as well as the company’s corporate culture, were very appealing.

Chairman Jin Yihong’s decisive actions and idealistic beliefs were moving and admirable.

Everyone knew that after today’s share buyback, even though Jin Yihong and her supporters had secured absolute control over Jin Pharmaceutical Group, they were now facing stormy seas.

Jin Yihong and her supporters had poured in cold, hard cash, and would most likely be left with nothing.

The stock had already hit its daily limit down today. How long could they last? Tomorrow? The day after?

Imagining Jin Yihong’s tragic end, the board members couldn’t help but feel a twinge of pity.

”Chairman Jin, was all this really necessary?”

”To see the fortune you’ve spent years building reduced to nothing... all for a few ideals. It’s such a shame.”

Seeing Jin Yihong’s unwavering, all-or-nothing resolve, even Xie Bin was somewhat moved.

”President Jin, on a personal and emotional level, I truly admire and understand you. But from a rational, business standpoint, your actions are too stubborn, almost immature.”

”You were too reckless at the press conference today. Without our help at Pfizer Pharmaceutical, Jin Pharmaceutical Group would have already lost its future completely.”

”President Jin, I’ll be in Xiao City for the next few days. If you have second thoughts, come find me. It’s not too late. As long as you accept my acquisition terms, Jin Pharmaceutical Group still has a chance at survival.”

Xie Bin tried to persuade her, hoping he could still win her over. Jin Pharmaceutical Group had a solid foundation; it seemed a shame for it to be so utterly defeated.

Xie Bin then looked at Wu Ting. He really didn’t understand this young man.

”Dr. Wu, you have such a bright future. Why get involved in this mess?”

Wu Ting had no good impression of Xie Bin and couldn’t be bothered to entertain his crocodile tears.

Without giving him so much as a glance, he walked over to Jin Yihong’s side.

”President Jin, I suppose I’m now the second-largest shareholder of Jin Pharmaceutical Group. We should have a meeting to discuss the company’s future.”

Wu Ting remained perfectly composed.

President Jin nodded. ”Alright. Let’s go.”

Jin Yihong and Wu Ting left with their group.

Xie Bin hadn’t expected them to be so obstinate, even now. A flicker of imperceptible malice crossed his eyes.

After the crowd dispersed, news of Jin Yihong rejecting the final acquisition offer under pressure from Pfizer—choosing glorious defeat over shameful surrender—exploded across official and social media.

Comments of all sorts began to flood in.

Some admired Jin Yihong for being a true heroine.

Some praised her for fearlessly standing up to a corporate giant.

Some appreciated her unyielding backbone.

However, everyone knew that even though Jin Yihong had earned the public’s admiration, Jin Pharmaceutical Group was as good as dead.

The Banzhe Project had been declared a failure, chief scientist Lou Musaang was on indefinite leave, and the previous conceptual drug, Fengmu Tiada, had proven to be a flash in the pan.

No one could see any hope of a comeback for Jin Pharmaceutical Group.

Everyone felt it was a shame that such a principled, independent, domestic pharmaceutical company would fall in a corporate war.

Public opinion was filled with condemnations of Pfizer, but everyone had to admit the truth: compared to domestic pharmaceutical companies, Pfizer was the moon to their firefly, an aircraft carrier to their lone canoe.

A complete and total rout!

While the outside world was filled with regret and sympathy, the scene inside the chairman’s office at Jin Pharmaceutical Group was completely different.

Jin Yihong, Jia Jun, and Deng Feifei all looked at Wu Ting.

”Dr. Wu, what’s your progress?”

Upon returning to the country, Jin Yihong had met with Wu Ting immediately and laid her cards on the table, which led to the insane scene at today’s press conference.

This was indeed a risky move, but it was also a stroke of genius.

Through the suicidal press conference, they directly pushed Jin Pharmaceutical Group’s stock price to its lowest point. Of course, they also had to thank Xie Bin for his cooperation. If it weren’t for his cold-hearted refusal to take over at the original premium, Wu Ting and the others wouldn’t have been able to acquire so many shares at such a low price.

Now that they had secured the equity, the next step was to rise from the brink of death and usher in Jin Pharmaceutical Group’s rebirth from the ashes.

Through this share buyback, the biggest beneficiaries were Jin Yihong and Wu Ting.

Once Jin Pharmaceutical Group’s stock price recovered, or even reached a new high, this would become a classic case study in business history.

And the mastermind of this entire strategy was none other than Wu Ting!

After acquiring the Business Strategy (Purple) trait from Xie Bin, Wu Ting had carefully laid his groundwork. Now, it was finally time to bare his fangs and reap the rewards.

”President Jin, I’ve already arranged for the laboratory animal toxicology studies for Sorafenib. Dr. Jia Jun finished organizing and compiling the relevant data a while ago.”

”As for the clinical data, right now we are just missing the data from Dean Liu Rong at Qinghe City Jin Country General Hospital.”

”I think we should head to Qinghe City immediately. We’ll find Dean Liu Rong and, with his help, complete the final statistical analysis of the clinical data.”
