Doctor: I Can Synthesize Infinite Entries

Chapter 341: Chapter 231: Making a Move, Challenging Authority, Taking Down Pfizer’s Plan

Any other doctor, even someone like Zhang Heng, would have found it impossible to mobilize so many top-tier hospital departments.

But Wu Ting could!

In the field of Hepatic Tumor Surgery, Wu Ting had already accumulated a sufficient network of top-tier connections. To list a few:

Within the province: Jinggang University Affiliated First Hospital, Jin Province Tumor Hospital, Fan City Military Hospital...

In Xianglin City: Xuanshang University Affiliated Tumor Hospital, Xuanshang University Affiliated Hospital...

Pinfan Hospital in Lin Province, Jiuhua Hospital in Qinghe City, Qinghe City General Hospital...

Beyond these top institutions, there were also other affiliated units that had engaged in cooperative exchanges at the Laparoscopic Diagnosis and Treatment Technology Research Center over the years. With Wu Ting’s current clout, he could also request the relevant case data from them!

This was a vast, complex, and top-tier lineup that was both representative and comprehensive...

Wu Ting had also planned out every point on the timeline.

After Jia Jun’s lab data came in, he would take Zhang Heng’s team to Qinghe City General Hospital. There, on Dean Liu Rong’s home turf, they would complete the final data compilation and then directly visit the leadership of the National Medical Products Administration.

As Wu Ting was assigning tasks to Zhang Heng and initiating the next steps, Dr. Huang returned with the test results. Zhang Heng and Wu Ting took a look, and as expected, the results were exactly as Wu Ting had predicted.

”President Liang’s various indicators show that his angiogenesis has been inhibited. The VEGFR pathway was blocked, leading to the formation of a thrombus.”

Looking at the test results, Zhang Heng felt a wave of relief.

”Director Wu, I’ll go back and start making arrangements right away. It’s a pleasure working with you.”

The gloom hanging over Zhang Heng vanished completely. In its place, he was filled with ambition and brimming with energy!

Wu Ting also made a trip to the R&D lab.

He privately informed Jia Jun of the plan. After hearing it, Jia Jun was beside himself with excitement.

If this really went according to Wu Ting’s predictions, it would be a devastating counter-attack against Pfizer Pharmaceutical!

It would finally allow Jia Jun to vent his frustrations.

”Director Wu, this is fantastic! My Yangzheng Xiujie Pill will be saved! And Jin Pharmaceutical Group can be brought back from the dead.”

Jia Jun looked at the young man before him with a mixture of admiration and gratitude.

Wu Ting gave his instructions calmly:

”Dr. Jia, everything must proceed according to plan. This matter requires absolute secrecy until the final reveal. We won’t make a move until we’re ready, but when we do, it must be earth-shattering!”

Jia Jun nodded repeatedly. ”I understand. This time, we’ll hit Pfizer Pharmaceutical so hard they won’t know what hit them.”

Overcome with sincerity and excitement, Jia Jun gave Wu Ting a deep bow.

”Dr. Wu, on behalf of my Yangzheng Xiujie Pill, on behalf of Musaang, and on behalf of Jin Pharmaceutical Group, I thank you.”

Jia Jun was truly overcome. The thought of Sorafenib being pulled from the market, of Pfizer losing all face, of Xie Bin and Xu Kunlin being thrown in jail, made him tremble uncontrollably.

After sorting things out with his two key deputies, Wu Ting began calling the senior directors at the various hospitals.

Unsurprisingly, when these chief directors heard Wu Ting’s idea to investigate the toxic side effects of Sorafenib, they all offered their full support.

Moreover, as frontline clinicians, if Wu Ting’s suspicions were confirmed, they felt that the Pfizer team and the person in charge of the Sorafenib project truly deserved to be condemned. What they did was utterly unconscionable, crossing every ethical boundary and red line!

When Wu Ting made his final call to Dean Liu Rong of the Qinghe City Jin Country General Hospital, Dean Liu had some good news for him.

”Wu Ting, your paper, ’A Study on the Early Predictive Value of Peripheral Blood PT, PTA, and PLT Levels for Primary Hepatocellular Carcinoma in Patients with Chronic Hepatitis B: The P3 Predictive Diagnosis and Treatment Method for Chronic Hepatitis B,’ has passed review and will be published in the upcoming issue of the journal.”

”At the same time, the diagnostic method related to your paper has been selected for the ’World Health Organization Asia-Pacific Traditional Medicine Clinical Practice Guideline Workshop.’ I’m giving you a heads-up now. The organizing committee will send you a formal invitation to attend the event!”

Liu Rong then offered Wu Ting an excellent suggestion.

”Wu Ting, I’m aware of some of the difficulties you’ve been facing recently. If you need it, you can leverage the influence of this high-profile workshop to hold a separate press conference before it begins. I can help you arrange the specifics.”

Liu Rong greatly admired and staunchly supported this rising star, Wu Ting. As a member of the domestic medical community, he also held no fondness for multinational corporations like Pfizer.

When facing a foreign adversary, they shared a common enemy.

Hearing that Dean Liu was willing to help to this extent, Wu Ting was overjoyed. A high-profile Asia-Pacific Region conference led by the World Health Organization... even top academics would be attending. With that kind of influence and global attention, he could really build some serious momentum! It was like adding wings to a tiger!

”Thank you so much, Dean Liu. I’ll see you in Qinghe City, then.”

...

...

While Wu Ting began to lay out his plans, the situation for Jin Pharmaceutical Group in the market had become precarious.

Within Jin Pharmaceutical Group, the weak-willed directors and fence-sitting shareholders had already begun to sell off their shares in large quantities.

Their dissatisfaction with Jin Yihong and Lou Musaang was growing by the day.

Many of the shareholders had already secretly conspired with one another. They were waiting for Jin Yihong to return from the Southern Country in disgrace before calling for a shareholders’ meeting.

For the sake of their own vested interests, they couldn’t allow Jin Pharmaceutical Group to continue following Jin Yihong and Lou Musaang down this stubborn path.

In the current situation, they saw only one path to survival: obtain Pfizer Pharmaceutical’s forgiveness and accept President Xie Bin’s acquisition proposal.

At the same time, they would have to package the Banzhe Project and sell it to Pfizer Pharmaceutical Company. Only by doing this could they stabilize the stock price and ensure their own pockets remained full.
