Bride of Retribution: Aloof Billionaire's Dominant Game

Suddenly retracting his finger, Joshua Hughes’s wild eyes revealed a playful look, ”Did I hit the mark, so you’re angry out of embarrassment? Your man hasn’t properly enjoyed exploring your body; I guess he probably gets more pleasure from concocting potions in the lab, right?”

”The matters between us as a couple don’t need Mr. Hughes’s speculative concern. In fact, Wenyard is very capable, more capable than any man.” Avery Jane smiled subtly and inhaled sharply; this man’s grip was indeed strong, she almost felt like her jaw was about to be crushed by him.

”No matter how capable, he’s just a dead man. Can he climb out of the grave to satisfy you?” Joshua said lazily, sitting on the sofa, his tall body leaning against the back, playfully looking at Avery Jane.

On her small, fair chin, his red fingerprints were glaringly apparent, imprinted on her skin as smooth as cream, extraordinarily provocative, as if two pale red petals were stamped.

”Women and men are different, Mr. Hughes. Without sex, men can’t bear it, while women are different; without love, women can’t truly bear it.” Avery Jane raised her distinctively elegant little face, replying seriously, word by word, to this man with a devil-may-care attitude.

”You’re wrong. Men have many ways to find satisfaction, but true satisfaction for a woman can only come from conquering her man. It seems your husband hasn’t truly conquered you.” Joshua’s eyes were as sharp as a thin blade, shining a silvery cold light, attempting to slash open the warm, delicate heart of the woman before him, exploring her inner world.

The massive Hughes Castle, on the terrace with a great view, only the wind howled in her ears.

In the sky, two fierce hawks spread their wings like two black streaks of lightning across the horizon, landing at the highest point of the castle, outside that room.

That was Joshua Hughes’s room; only the maids designated to clean the room could enter. Evelyn Yates thought she was showered with enough affection, even rumors outside claimed she was definitely the Young Madam of the Hughes Family, yet her heart always felt hollow.

Joshua Hughes even accompanied her back to the Yates Family, a privilege never seen before, but something was still amiss, and she couldn’t quite pinpoint what.

Was her attitude toward Avery Jane not good that day, making Joshua Hughes think she was a malicious woman?

She was a bit carried away, Evelyn stood on the terrace, looking at the top-level room. One day, she would live in there, live in his room, and live in his heart.

The castle gates were slowly opening, and far away Joshua Hughes’s car was already driving up along the private road.

Even just seeing his car would make her heart race; she finally understood why so many women from noble families wanted a spot at this annual banquet—to present themselves before this man, attract his gaze. He was like a giant magnet, drawing everyone in.

”Joshua, you’re back.” Her excited, jubilant heart was concealed by gentle words as she approached him.

Joshua was very tall; when looking straight she could almost only see this man’s proud chin; she almost couldn’t hold back the urge to kiss his defined, lean lips, but Joshua’s habit was disliking women kissing his lips, so she could only secretly imagine it.

”Joshua, I learned to cook several dishes, would you like to try them?” She shyly pulled on his sleeve.

These past few days she kept thinking about how to capture a man’s attention.

Just like her elder brother Lucas Yates, who is outstanding and suave, but no matter how gentle, he firmly rejected the confessions of countless women until Avery Jane appeared—it was over for Lucas.

Evelyn was pondering how Avery Jane managed to capture Lucas Yates’s heart like that, and hold it so tightly.

In terms of capturing men, Avery Jane was indeed a master, because ever since she appeared in Lucas Yates’s life, aside from her, Lucas never exchanged extra words with other women.

Do men perhaps all like Avery Jane’s approach? She wanted to give it a try.

”Joshua, after eating, I can give you a massage, is that okay? My sister-in-law always gave my brother a massage; once I wanted to ask him for some headache medicine and stormed into his room. My brother was just wrapped in a towel, lying on the bed, and Avery Jane was giving him a massage. My brother was amusingly flustered, his face completely red, and Avery Jane was shy as well. Actually, Avery Jane is quite pitiful, I won’t get angry at her anymore, alright, I won’t throw tantrums, alright?” Evelyn sat on Joshua Hughes’s strong thighs, cuddled his neck, babbling tenderly.
