Worthless Profession: Dragon Tamer

Chapter 886, Fancy Experiencing Exotic Customs?

Translator: Silavin

Regarding taste, they found that Feather Country’s specialty cuisine could not be compared to their familiar Dragon Country’s.

Even more so for Lu Fan, whose palate had been refined by Han Ke’s cooking. This entire table of dishes appeared luxurious but actually tasted rather ordinary.

While the dishes were not particularly delicious to him, the overflowing table, each dish prepared from the finest cuts of Monster meat, still stimulated one’s appetite.

At the minimum, Feather Country’s hospitable and generous customs were evident in this meal.

Lu Fan ate with considerable satisfaction at the table. As for Jin Zhan, his eating mannerism was more refined than Lu Fan’s. However, he too ate heartily, praising Andrei’s hospitality.

Seeing their satisfaction with his welcoming feast, Andrei scratched his head and laughed. “As long as you’re both satisfied with this meal. Truth be told, I’ve prepared plenty of entertainment here for you both to thoroughly enjoy. Including some… services if you get what I mean…”

Saying this, Andrei winked at them. “I’ve already invited several renowned ladies from here. They can drink with you shortly. Later tonight, you can also experience our Feather Country’s exotic customs.”

Lu Fan and Jin Zhan immediately fell silent.

Andrei appeared quite young, yet the hospitality programme he had arranged was remarkably mature.

However, such hospitality activities were entirely unnecessary.

Jin Zhan was first to refuse. “Exotic customs… won’t be necessary. We’ll rest tonight, then depart tomorrow to find the Darkness Ancient God’s location. Once our business is done, we’ll leave.”

“Not necessary?” Andrei’s expression was filled with regret. “But those ladies. I really took a ton of effort in inviting them over. They’re not the type you’re imagining. They’re all proper. I had to really go around to invite them. Please do at least give it a shot…”

Pausing, he suddenly understood, smiling knowingly. “Brother Jin, I understand. Don’t worry. Anything that happens tonight, I absolutely won’t speak of it outside. This visit to Feather Country, you can enjoy yourselves however you wish. I guarantee no rumours about you will circulate…”

Jin Zhan’s face showed helplessness as he turned to Lu Fan.

Lu Fan smiled, saying to Andrei. “There is no need for these unnecessary arrangements. Brother Jin is an upright gentleman. He definitely wouldn’t engage in such activities. Whether anyone knows or not does not matter, He won’t overstep his boundaries. Compared to what others think, he actually maintains discipline to the highest order on his own.”

Hearing Lu Fan say this, Andrei could only shake his head helplessly. “Well, alright then. What a pity… Those ladies are all Daughters of major Feather Country Families. Getting me to bring them for such activities wasn’t easy.”

“Since Brother Jin isn’t willing, then Brother Lu Fan, tonight you’ll be in for a treat…”

“No, no, no!” Lu Fan quickly waved his hands. “I’m not interested either.”

“Huh…” Andrei was even more helpless, but after thinking, accepted it. “True, you’re surrounded by beautiful women already. You probably don’t fancy them. Fine then. Tonight, I’ll work hard and take these girls into my chamber.”

Saying this, Andrei lowered his voice, winking suggestively at Lu Fan. “Brother Lu Fan, if you change your mind, find me anytime. I’ll spare two for you.”

Apparently, Andrei assumed Lu Fan felt embarrassed enjoying such ‘special services’ in Jin Zhan’s presence.

However, Lu Fan truly had zero interest in such women. Even such unfamiliar exotic customs were too much for him.

Seeing Jin Zhan’s gaze towards him gradually becoming somewhat odd, Lu Fan genuinely felt an impulse to punch Andrei.

Considering this ‘good’ friend’s ‘kind intentions’, Lu Fan could only force out a smile. “I really don’t need it.”

To prevent Andrei from continuing to promote how impressive their Feather Country girls were, Lu Fan quickly changed the subject to the Ancient God matter.

Andrei’s Family maintained good relations with Dragon Country. Certain Ancient God information could be shared with Andrei.

Of course, some secrets Lu Fan would not reveal, like seizing of Divine Seats. If told to Andrei, it would certainly attract unnecessary troubles.

The three continued eating and chatting. Nearly two hours passed.

Just as the three conversed, someone suddenly pushed open the door. It was clearly one of Andrei’s attendants.

Interrupted, Andrei became displeased, reprimanding. “Why are you entering? Didn’t I say while we three are dining, without my command, you’re forbidden from entering?”

Knowing Lu Fan and Jin Zhan might discuss classified topics, Andrei had dismissed his attendants early.

His subordinate showing such lack of propriety naturally displeased Andrei.

The entering attendant knelt on one knee, expression terrified. “Apologies, Young Master. Only because something happened outside that this subordinate has to interrupt you and your friends.”

“Something happened? What happened?” Andrei frowned questioningly.

The attendant replied. “It’s the Young Master of the Orel Family, Molotov. He’s also come to this hotel and is in this restaurant. Originally, we were guarding below, saying this restaurant had been reserved by you, asking him to dine elsewhere. However, his attitude was resolute. He insists on entering. We can barely hold them back.”

“The Orel Family’s Molotov!?” Hearing this name, Andrei’s face immediately seemed like he was having a headache.

Seeing this, Lu Fan proactively asked. “Did you encounter some kind of trouble?”

Andrei nodded without hiding anything. “My apologies. We’ve apparently encountered something rather thorny. The Orel Family has always been at odds with our Kodiak Family. Recently, it’s escalated almost to an open conflict. Their arrival at this moment definitely isn’t for a meal. Most likely, they’re looking to provoke me.”

Saying this, Andrei briefly introduced the Orel Family.

Like the Kodiak Family, the Orel Family also wielded substantial authority in Feather Country. Their status was no lower. If anything, it was higher than the Kodiak Family.

These two behemoths had experienced numerous struggles. Recently, the opposition between the two Major Families had reached a powder-keg state.
