Worthless Profession: Dragon Tamer

Chapter 859, First Profession Change Hidden Profession

Translator: Silavin

As for the Skill Effects, they had undergone slight changes…

For instance, the Skill Effect of Cataclysmic Apocalypse was to continuously summon Heavenfall Meteor, attacking within the area designated by Xiao Ye, with each meteor Damage identical to Heavenfall Meteor.

Cataclysmic Earthshatter was similarly devastating. Essentially, it was a plus version of Heavenfall Force. The Skill Range and Skill Effects were all enhanced, while the duration was unlimited, depending entirely on Xiao Ye’s own Mana Pool.

If previously, Xiao Ye’s Heavenfall Meteor combined with Heavenfall Force was the pinnacle of a single punch, it was now equivalent to launching a missile…

Then now, when Xiao Ye activated Cataclysmic Apocalypse and Cataclysmic Earthshatter together, it directly unleashed ultra-wide-range destruction. Calling it a disaster would be no exaggeration!

Xiao Ye belonged to the Black Dragon Clan. The Black Dragon Clan didn’t possess the High Strength Attribute of the Starry Sky Dragons, nor the High Mana Attribute of the Blue Dragon Clan, much less the high Crowd Control Skills of the Frost Dragon Clan.

However, Black Dragons were indeed the most balanced Dragon Species, excelling in every aspect without any absolute weaknesses.

Therefore, Lu Fan speculated that Xiao Ye’s Second Profession would have at least three branches: Physical, Magic, and Crowd Control.

He did not consider that Xiao Ye’s Great Cataclysm Skill represented her potential to transform into a natural disaster in the truest sense, casually releasing large-area Dragon Language Forbidden Spells at will.

Now, it seemed Xiao Ye had chosen precisely this path.

Namely, large Area of Effect, High Damage explosive burst.

When Xiao Ye activated both Skills simultaneously, first Cataclysmic Earthshatter’s powerful gravity would Crowd Control enemies in place.

For enemies to escape, that was essentially impossible, because the Skill’s powerful gravity could even crush the ground itself. Perhaps only lifeforms with exceptionally resilient Physiques could preserve their lives under Cataclysmic Earthshatter’s Skill Effects.

Beyond this gravity, from the sky, countless Heavenfall Meteors would rain down.

Just imagining such a scene filled one with despair.

A disaster capable of annihilating everything. Wasn’t this exactly that?

No wonder Xiao Ye’s Second Profession was named Falling Calamity.

Such an overpowered Profession naturally had its weaknesses.

Its weakness was that powerful Skills required massive amounts of Mana.

If it were a Human Player, merely using Cataclysmic Apocalypse would probably drain all their Mana and Endurance in just ten seconds.

But Xiao Ye was different.

She was a Dragon King! What more, a Combat Specialised Pet Dragon naturally skilled in battle, possessing virtually endless Mana and Endurance.

Even if these two disaster-class Skills truly consumed enormous Mana, for Xiao Ye, the burden shouldn’t be difficult to bear.

Moreover, there was Xiao Cui, the Support Specialised Pet Dragon. A single Spring of Life Buff could directly allow Xiao Ye’s Mana and Endurance to rapidly recover. Fighting for hundreds of years probably wouldn’t induce any fatigue!

The Giant Dragon’s Physique was just this overpowered.

For a moment, Lu Fan also felt somewhat eager to see what kind of Player Bao Bao would become after his Second Profession Change.

Given Bao Bao’s temperament, plus his Blue Dragon Bloodline granting unlimited Mana, if he also acquired disaster-class Skills similar to Xiao Ye’s, the scene he could imagine… *Tsk tsk.,* Just thinking about it felt thrilling!

Thinking of this, Lu Fan could not restrain his curiosity and excitement, beginning to summon his other Pet Dragons in succession, having them undergo their Profession Changes one by one.

Just as Lu Fan anticipated, his Pet Dragons were truly just Dragons in Human Forms. Every Profession Change would directly destroy one Profession Change Array.

Simultaneously, their Professions were uniformly Combat Specialised Hidden Professions, without a single Pet Dragon falling short.

The Professions they got also perfectly matched their own Dragon Species Characteristics.

For instance, Xiao Cui’s First Profession was Nature Divine Envoy, capable of summoning various Totems to grant buff effects to teammates.

She had just changed her Profession and already acquired two Skills:

Rejuvenation Totem that heals and restores Endurance.

Battle Totem that enhanced teammates’ Attributes.

Both Totems enhanced teammates’ Attributes based on percentages, which was extremely practical for Lu Fan and his Pet Dragons.

After all, even a mere 10% Enhancement meant tens of thousands, or even hundreds of thousands, of Attribute Points for them.

Most importantly, through testing, Lu Fan discovered that Xiao Cui’s Player Skills could stack with her Dragon Skills.

Therefore, while Xiao Cui’s Skills might not have brought Lu Fan too many surprises, the Enhancement to the team was genuinely and substantially improved by a significant margin.

The third Pet Dragon, Xing Chen, gotten the Heavenly Star Divine Guard Profession.

This Profession was even more straightforward and brutal, not even possessing Active Skills, all being Passive Skills. It allowed Xing Chen to utilise a power called ‘Heavenly Star’ to strengthen herself. Each attack would carry ‘Heavenly Star Special Effect’, inflicting massive Damage upon her enemies.

Simply put, Heavenly Star Divine Guard should be the strongest Close Combat Profession Lu Fan had ever witnessed.

The other Pet Dragons also successively changed into similar Hidden Professions, acquiring a wave of Combat Power Enhancement in their Human Form.

Combined with their Giant Dragon Attributes, their current Combat Power had improved by at least two tiers compared to before.

Lu Fan gazed at his Dragon children’ brand-new Attribute Panels, grinning from ear to ear.

Next, he would take his Pet Dragons to farm Monsters in the Far North, bringing them to Level 30, enabling their Second Profession Change!

By then, wouldn’t his ‘children’s Combat Power strengthen considerably once more?

Originally, with their original Level, advancing even one Level was extraordinarily difficult.

But now, with the Enlightened Transformation his Pet Dragons had acquired Human Forms and Human Attribute Panels, equivalent to Levelling a secondary character. Since this secondary character was new, Levelling it could not be any easier!

Lu Fan resolved that going forward, he would utilise the fastest time possible to elevate his Pet Dragons’ Levels.

Just as he planned to leave this place and continue heading to the Far North to grind, a voice he hadn’t heard in a long time suddenly transmitted into his mind. “After such a short time apart, your Combat Power has improved by leaps and bounds once more. These Dragon Kings actually all possess Human bodies now. How unexpected.”

Upon hearing this voice, Lu Fan immediately exclaimed with delight. “You’re awake?”

“Of course!” The Devouring Dragon King’s tone carried several notes of pride. Immediately after, beside Lu Fan, a Summoning Array automatically generated. Evidently, the Devouring Dragon King still enjoyed extremely high autonomy. Whether to be summoned was entirely her own decision.

The Transport Array was not large. The Devouring Dragon King walked out from within in her Human Form. She was devastatingly beautiful, seemingly even more gorgeous than before.
