Worthless Profession: Dragon Tamer

Chapter 866, Facing the Blood Moon’s Owner!

Translator: Silavin

This giant claw was enormous. The Devouring Dragon King was by no means small, but compared to this red giant claw, she still appeared to be tiny.

Just one claw was already this large. So, how terrifying must its size be? This was simply unimaginable!

Facing such a colossal creature, the Devouring Dragon King showed no fear whatsoever.

After dodging the opponent’s strike, the Devouring Dragon King was rather indignant, coldly snorting. “Still trying to ambush me? How despicable!”

Having said that, she did not attack.

Because after this giant claw’s strike missed, it pressed against the ground and began to exert force. It appeared its owner only needed to prop up its body to emerge from underground.

The Devouring Dragon King had no interest in attacking an opponent during this opportunity. She merely watched with interest, wanting to see what this Blood Moon’s Owner’s True Form would look like after emerging.

As the giant claw exerted force with a sudden push, sounds like collapsing thunder continuously echoed.

This place seemed to be facing the apocalypse. The ground crumbled and collapsed, and streams of black gas erupted outward from the underground fissures.

As the ground was destroyed, a colossal creature covered entirely in crimson red slowly drilled out from below.

It was a giant existence beyond description. Even mountains appeared extremely tiny before it.

With Lu Fan’s eyesight, he actually could not see the end of its body!

Its whole body was equivalent to the size of a Map!

This was the Blood Moon’s Owner!

Lu Fan had seen the Blood Moon’s Owner before, but at that time, the Blood Moon’s Owner had still been in a dormant state. Though terrifying, it was far from having its current domineering presence.

Moreover, at the time, its entire body had been covered in ice and snow. Lu Fan did not truly have a good look at its appearance.

Now, it was different. The Blood Moon’s Owner had completely awakened. As it drilled out from underground, the ice and snow covering its body had long since disappeared. In their place were bright crimson red scales like fresh blood!

Its form resembled an enormously massive crocodile, but its mouthful of fangs and claws thousands of metres long told Lu Fan it could still not be considered crocodile-like in the truest sense.

After the Blood Moon’s Owner emerged, an area of several thousand kilometres was thrown into complete chaos.

This was not the end. The Blood Moon’s Owner had clearly been provoked to extreme fury by Lu Fan and the Devouring Dragon King’s arrival.

After appearing, it raised its head and roared. Wave after wave of sound rippled outward, transforming into incomparably powerful gales radiating in all directions!

The clouds in the sky, so dense they could not disperse in a thousand years, were directly shattered by this roar. They actually formed a vacuum zone in the sky that allowed one to see the stars filling Heaven!

Not only that, the Blood Moon’s Owner’s location was thousands of kilometres away from the frontlines of the Far North.

Yet, this roar actually transmitted directly to the frontlines!

In an instant, wave after wave of sound caused some Monsters on the frontlines to have their bodies directly explode. At the same time, the city walls that had originally been able to resist Monster attacks also began showing cracks.

As for those Players and soldiers killing enemies on the frontlines, they also suffered casualties. For a moment, this greatly startled Jin Zhan on the frontlines. He immediately flew out to patrol the walls, checking whether some incredible Boss had appeared.

Just the aftereffect of a single roar made the frontlines, from who knows how far away, face such a great threat.

It must be said that this single roar the Blood Moon’s Owner’s had displayed was truly Heaven Defyingly powerful.

Lu Fan and the Devouring Dragon King were undoubtedly the existences closest to the Blood Moon’s Owner. They would also be the ones directly bearing the brunt of its impact.

This roar made Lu Fan re-evaluate its strength.

Beyond alarm, he was grateful he had not acted recklessly and came to find trouble with the Blood Moon’s Owner behind the Devouring Dragon King’s back.

Otherwise, dealing with such a difficult existence, he might find it very hard to survive from the Blood Moon’s Owner’s hands.

[Truly worthy of being a Mount under a High Tier Ancient God. If this is its strength at its peak, releasing it alone would be enough to crush all Humans in this world, directly flattening all countries! Without the help of an Eternal Phase Dragon King like the Devouring Dragon King, I am definitely no match for it!]

If he had not shared his Attributes with the Devouring Dragon King, just now, under the Blood Moon’s Owner’s roar, he would already be injured.

“The Blood Moon’s Owner is stronger than I thought!” Lu Fan’s expression was grave.

In contrast, the Devouring Dragon King was relatively calm, saying. “Nonsense. If it wasn’t strong, this Grandmother would have come alone and killed it already. Why would I need to borrow your power and let you take advantage of me?”

Lu Fan asked. “Then, how do we fight this battle? The Blood Moon’s Owner is this strong. I can’t allow my Pet Dragons to be exposed to such danger. What’s more, even if Dragons like Xing Chen and Bao Bao come out, because of the gap in Level and Attributes, they won’t be able to play much of a role. They might even be instantly killed.”

If these words spread, they would probably make quite a few people’s jaws drop.

Who did not know that Lu Fan’s Pet Dragons were all monsters? Randomly pulling one out could easily crush the current world’s strongest experts.

But now, facing the Blood Moon’s Owner, summoning these Pet Dragons made Lu Fan’s heart race with fear.

Just how strong must the Blood Moon’s Owner be?

The Devouring Dragon King should have a rough assessment of the Blood Moon’s Owner’s strength. She advised. “You’re right. Most of your Pet Dragons are useless here and can’t participate in a battle of this level. Also, I don’t need them. The Enhancement you provide me now is already enough. With our current Attributes, I’m already confident I can win.”

Pausing, the Devouring Dragon King solemnly said. “But, to say I can win one hundred percent would be a lie. The more assistance you can bring out to help me, naturally the better the odds… Also summon the Hell Poison Dragon King. She is also an Immortal Being. No need to worry about her being instantly killed. Her Debuffs might not achieve their proper Effects due to gap in Level and Mechanics, but having her out is better than nothing. At least she can help us a little.”

“Sure!” Lu Fan agreed and summoned Ji Ji.

The Pet Dragons he could send into battle should be Ji Ji, Xiao Cui, the Little Blade Armour Dragon King, Xiao Zuo, and Xiao You.

The former two were inherently Immortal and Indestructible. So, they could still play a role.

As for the latter three, they were fundamental to enhancing the Devouring Dragon King’s strength and had to accompany her into battle!

Lu Fan extended his hand, drew an Array, and summoned Ji Ji.

After Ji Ji appeared and faced the enormously massive Blood Moon’s Owner, she became fearful.

This was unavoidable. Ji Ji’s personality was like this. She was socially anxious and timid.

Although she had gradually gotten more courageous when facing Monsters after following Lu Fan into battle for so long, facing an existence like the Blood Moon’s Owner was on a whole other level. It was extremely difficult for her to remain calm.
