Worthless Profession: Dragon Tamer

Chapter 874, Strength Soaring!

Translator: Silavin

This battle was absolutely the most arduous one Lu Fan had experienced.

It was precisely because he was nourished by Dragon Bloodline from multiple Dragons, possessing Endurance ordinary people lacked that he could persist for so long. If it were an ordinary Player, even a Fifth Profession Player, they would have collapsed from exhaustion long ago.

Although creating Projects from the Abyssal Space into real space did not consume much Stamina, during this half month, Lu Fan had projected over a thousand times in total!

This consumption was truly enormous, nearly draining Lu Fan completely.

Yet the Devouring Dragon King’s Stamina remained abundant, appearing full of vigour and vitality.

This also made Lu Fan realise just how Heaven Defying a Combat Specialised Dragon’s Stamina truly was.

Now, it seems like claims that some Dragons could fight for hundreds of years while maintaining peak condition definitely were not false.

Unfortunately, the Abyssal Space’s Projections could not show the full might of the Devouring Dragon King. Otherwise, Lu Fan could have saved a lot more time and effort.

Regardless, this battle had ultimately been won.

The massive Blood Moon’s Owner’s body did not begin repairing its wounds as it had before. Its carcass lay here, like an endless mountain range.

Although already dead, looking at it still made one’s back run cold.

The Devouring Dragon King carried Lu Fan, flapping her wings in mid-air, her tone extremely excited. “Finally! We’ve played this giant lizard to death! I truly never expected that an Ancient God’s Mount would have such strength. It is far greater than I imagined. This is just a mere Mount. While it could not really threaten me, killing it was unexpectedly laborious.”

“Fortunately I have you by my side. Your Bloodline Sharing Awakening is too useful. Not only did it restore my strength to its peak, but it also even increased it further. More importantly…” The Devouring Dragon King directed her gaze towards the Blood Moon’s Owner’s carcass, greed obvious in her eyes. “Such a powerful body! How vast and delicious must all that flesh and meat be? If I absorb it all, my strength could probably reach its zenith. Even if I’m not an Ancient God’s match, below all Ancient God, I bet I’m invincible.”

Lu Fan said, somewhat surprised. “Wait, you want to absorb the Blood Moon’s Owner’s body? Isn’t it too big? You sure can you actually absorb it all?”

The Devouring Dragon King replied. “Size isn’t the issue. It just requires more time. The key is how long I’ll need to refine it. I estimate after absorbing it, I’ll be like a snake that’s swallowed an elephant. It would need to devote more focus, time and energy to refine it. In actual combat, I’ll once again find it difficult to display my true capabilities. At most, I’ll be similar to when I’d just awakened.”

“Lu Fan, I don’t want to give up on this carcass. I absolutely must devour it. While I’m refining it, you’ll have to shoulder the responsibility as the main combatant.”

“Still, the strength you and I can display will definitely have no problem dealing with ordinary non-awakened Ancient Gods. It’s just, Ancient Gods with slightly higher awakening would still pose some danger to us.”

“Well, I gave my warning. Do you have any objections? If not, I’ll begin absorbing.”

Lu Fan thought for a moment, then said. “No problem. You getting stronger benefits me as well. What I need to do next is to find non-awakened Ancient Gods and avoid engaging with existences like the Blood Moon’s Owner. I know what to do so, go ahead and devour and refine at ease. Just, make sure the refinement time is as short as possible. I don’t know when exactly an Ancient God will awaken.”

“You don’t need to remind me of that.” As the Devouring Dragon King spoke, she urged Lu Fan to continue using Bloodline Sharing Awakening, helping her activate the Devouring Dragon Bloodline Power within her body to devour the Blood Moon’s Owner.

Lu Fan complied. Immediately, tremendous suction force emanated from the Devouring Dragon King’s body.

This time, because the Blood Moon’s Owner was already a carcass with absolutely no resistance, it could only allow the Devouring Dragon King to absorb its body at will.

Its massive body actually slowly rose, approaching the Devouring Dragon King.

As the Blood Moon’s Owner’s body made contact with the Devouring Dragon King’s body, the places where they touched immediately became distorted.

Despite the Blood Moon’s Owner’s body being so enormous, at this moment it was like being drawn by a black hole, its form beginning to continuously merge into the Devouring Dragon King.

The Devouring Dragon King’s so-called devouring was not actually swallowing it mouthful by mouthful. With the Blood Moon’s Owner’s body being so massive, no matter how large the Devouring Dragon King’s appetite, she couldn’t possibly swallow it all in a short time.

Her method of devouring was different.

Borrowing Bloodline Sharing Awakening, her entire body became a maw devouring all things, truly becoming the Maw of the Abyss.

Although the process of devouring the Blood Moon’s Owner remained relatively slow, within a few days, the Blood Moon’s Owner’s body would still be completely devoured by the Devouring Dragon King.

During the devouring process, Lu Fan unexpectedly discovered he was also benefiting from it.

His energy was recovering rapidly. In just a short while, he actually gradually became full, and the previous battle fatigue was completely swept away.

Not only that, he also discovered his Attributes were rapidly increasing.

This truly surprised him, because previously when devouring the Blood Moon’s Owner’s flesh and blood, what increased were the Devouring Dragon King’s Attributes, while his own Attributes had not improved much.

Now, whether it was the Devouring Dragon King’s deliberate action or because she could not absorb the Blood Moon’s Owner’s flesh and blood completely, it results in some of the Attributes being distributed to him.

Regardless, during the absorption process, Lu Fan benefited immensely.

Thus, Lu Fan simply continued maintaining his Riding State with the Devouring Dragon King, beginning to absorb the Blood Moon’s Owner’s massive body together with her.

This feeling of doing nothing yet still increasing in strength was rather pleasant.

Lu Fan took advantage of his idle boredom to check his own Attributes again.

He discovered with surprise that after defeating the Blood Moon’s Owner, his Level had skyrocketed, directly reaching Level 117.

He was only one step away from his Fifth Profession Change!

Meanwhile, his Pet Dragons Levels had all kept pace, matching Lu Fan’s Level.

There was no helping it. The Blood Moon’s Owner provided truly excessive Experience Points. Combined with his Accelerated Growth Aura already being at LV10, killing one Monster meant his Pet Dragons gained even more Experience Points than he himself received.

Now, Lu Fan’s Attributes have reached ridiculous heights. Even without Xiao Zuo, Xiao You, or the Little Blade Armour Dragon King, the average value of his All Four Attributes had nearly broken through seven digits.

For an ordinary Player, this was completely unimaginable.

Moreover, Lu Fan’s Attributes were still continuously increasing.

Heaven knows after the Blood Moon’s Owner was completely absorbed, just how terrifying his strength would become…
