Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

Chapter 1100: Chapter 31 The Misunderstanding of the Mercenary Organization! [Second Update]

”Oh, you recognize me?”

Upon hearing the woman’s shout, Jia Yan appeared somewhat astonished and slightly puzzled.

”I have never personally met Lord Jia Yan before, but his great name on Dragon Bell Star has recently been thunderous. It’s impossible not to know what he looks like. However, I think you are not him, are you?”

The woman’s expression grew somber. The creature claiming to be Jia Yan did not quite resemble the one publicized in the media, and as one of the powerhouses of Taia in this Dragon Bell Star, she had once remotely sensed the aura of the real ’Jia Yan,’ which was nothing like this creature before her.

”Hehe, you say I am not that Jia Yan, and you are right. Well, Your Excellency is likely not a powerhouse from Dragon Bell Star. I hope you won’t reveal my whereabouts. Otherwise, I cannot guarantee the safety of your lovely daughter,” Jia Yan hinted with a slight glance at a patch of ground below.

They were ten thousand meters in the sky, where the ground below was just a speck. However, for a Star Space Level Expert, seeing the landscape below was simple. The powerful woman followed Jia Yan’s gaze downwards only to see her daughter stepping out from a hiding spot, looking up into the sky where her almost invisible mother was, her complexion turning ugly immediately.

”Alright, I’m not a powerhouse from Dragon Bell Star either. No matter who you are, as long as you don’t do anything to anger me, I have no reason to divulge your information either.” The woman seemed somewhat disheartened.

”Then let me ask you some questions.” Jia Yan flew lower.

He landed where the little girl was, and the woman behind hurriedly followed him, scared to the core.

Jia Yan did not want to stay in the sky for too long because, even with the shielding of Brainwave Power, there was a high probability of being discovered. Thus, he landed.

Being next to the Bella clan powerhouse’s daughter was merely a guarantee.

”What a cute little girl.” Jia Yan reached the ground and saw a little girl standing shyly, the size of a three- or four-year-old Earth child, genuinely complimenting her.

This was no falsehood, for having been in this Star Domain for so long, Jia Yan had almost forgotten the feeling of Earth people. Since even the size of this little girl resembled that of Earth children, it naturally endeared her to Jia Yan.

”Stay away from her!”

The woman from the Bella clan, her face drastically changed, rushed forward, but before her attack could hit Jia Yan, she felt her body suddenly tighten!

Jia Yan had directly employed his Brainwave Power to control her in mid-air.

The woman was even more terrified now.

She had seen that Jia Yan’s strength was of top Star Space Level and had been cautious, but she had never expected that someone only one level higher than her could use Brainwave Power to completely disable her from fighting back.

”Don’t bully my mom!”

The little girl seemed to understand the battle, rushing to Jia Yan’s feet. Her tiny body, not even reaching the height of one of Jia Yan’s forelegs, bravely stood beside him, clenched her little fists, and kept punching.

”Uh!” Jia Yan looked at the little one with some astonishment. Although her punches didn’t hurt him, he could still feel her small fists contained a strength far exceeding that of an average Earth person.

It seems, even if outwardly similar, they were not Earth people after all.

Jia Yan, feeling a strange emotion rise, lost any sentimental feelings and straightforwardly released the woman behind with his Brainwave Power, simultaneously suppressing her to the ground, rendering her unable to move.

”Are you really Jia Yan?” the woman asked hesitantly after landing.

”How come you think I am Jia Yan now?” Jia Yan was surprised, then asked peculiarly.

”My strength is only at the Mid-Starry Sky Period, but generally, even Peak powerhouses wouldn’t likely be able to use Brainwave Power to suppress me. I suppose only someone like you, who could kill a Lord Level existence stepping over ranks, could possibly do it. Besides, if you were not Jia Yan, there would be no need for you to impersonate him; such an act of assuming another’s identity would be quite disgraceful for a powerhouse of your stature,” the woman explained.

”Alright, whether you think I am Jia Yan or not, just answer a few questions of mine, and then I will let you and your daughter go. Of course, if you dare reveal my whereabouts, then you and your child will surely die. You’ve seen my strength, haven’t you? If I wanted to kill you, it would be very simple,” Jia Yan spoke with a hint of threat.

Afterward, Jia Yan asked a few questions.

It was not long before his massive body gently lifted from the ground, not flying too high, and stealthily vanished in a certain direction.

”Mommy, Linlin is very scared,” the little girl said, rushing into the arms of the powerful woman just as Jia Yan left.

”Don’t be afraid, Mommy’s here.” The strong female tenderly embraced her daughter, her vast body large enough that the little girl could practically live within her ample bosom.

”Could this really be Jia Yan? Then the Giant Mosquito Fleet on Dragon Bell Star...”

Not long after, the strong female who had consoled her daughter was now gazing mysteriously in the direction Jia Yan had left.

And there, no trace of the monster remained...

Jia Yan soared above the ground.

The scenery of Dragon Bell Star was truly splendid. For the Central Region of the Northern Star Field, this place was a rural area, yet many high-tech beings preferred to visit here to relax. The scenery was decent, and the man-made structures were well-planned, too, with uniformly well-kept and beautiful vegetation. If Jia Yan hadn’t known there were unified cities on this planet, he would have thought he’d arrived at a pristine, untouched world.

Occasionally, creatures walked on the ground below.

But they never sensed the enormous thing in the sky; even those with considerable strength only detected a faint energy passing overhead. By the time they looked up, they found nothing.

”The hiding technique taught by Senior, it’s much more powerful than the one I figured out myself,” Jia Yan lamented as he watched the creatures below. Even beings at the Heavenly Peak couldn’t see this monster flying above their heads. He marveled at the incredible stealth technique he had learned.

”I’ll first contact the Mercenary Organization to see what they’re up to, then it will be the turn of that fake Giant Mosquito Fleet!”

Jia Yan pondered for a moment before pulling out his communicator.

The communication technology of this alien world used an encrypted transmission method, especially Jia Yan’s powerful device. These small communicators not only could connect to the regular network but also perform encrypted communications across the entire planet through an internal encryption method, effectively concealing the communication content and making one’s location untraceable.

Jia Yan used his Brainwave Power to dial a number, which was left by the Mercenary Organization.

”Hello, Mister Jia Yan, precisely one month, you really are punctual.”

Upon connection, an unfamiliar voice immediately came through.

”Fine, I want to know what kind of test your Mercenary Organization wants to conduct on me because I have important matters to attend to on Dragon Bell Star and I hope your so-called test won’t be too troublesome,” Jia Yan responded coldly, not minding the unfamiliarity of the voice.

Given the somewhat threatening nature of these tests from the Mercenary Organization, Jia Yan truly didn’t want to trust them, but circumstances forced his hand. Right now, Senior Light and Shadow confirmed that there weren’t any strong presences on the planet, which made him agree.

Jia Yan didn’t trust the other party; he trusted the Light Shadow Monster!

”Hehe, okay, come to the largest city on this planet, where your ’Giant Mosquito Fleet’ is located, and contact me again, then I’ll send someone over to receive you. Oh... and please be careful when you arrive, make sure not to be discovered by any local monsters or entangled by the media, otherwise, we might find it too troublesome and cancel the test.”

The chuckling voice on the other side made Jia Yan uncomfortable, as if it was Jia Yan who needed their test.

”Fine, I’ll contact you when I get there.”

Jia Yan suppressed his anger and closed the communication.

At this moment, the Mercenary Organization, to Jia Yan, appeared as an immensely large entity, so immense that even the Light Shadow Monster seemed a bit solemn. It seemed that three thousand years ago, this so-called Mercenary Organization had had dealings with his master, the incredibly powerful Stellar Level Senior.

So Jia Yan couldn’t afford to offend them at this moment.

”Jia Yan, I think I know what they want to test you for. Hehe, hearing that guy’s tone, I just remembered, your energy display, it’s very similar to that of Sacred Powerhouse. They want to confirm if you are from that family... no wonder, no wonder!” the Light Shadow Monster suddenly told Jia Yan, having been silent for a while.

”Sacred Powerhouse? What is this Sacred Powerhouse!” Jia Yan was somewhat confused.

He had heard about Sacred Powerhouses before, back in the Desolate Star System, but had not understood what they were. Now, hearing the term again in the Northern Star Field, he hadn’t expected it.

”Hehe, Sacred Powerhouses, to put it simply, it’s a family that once had Galaxy Level Powerhouses. This family currently has branches in several Star Regions; though none in the Northern Star Region, there are in the Southern Star Region and Luozi Empire, and they have substantial influence. Even the Mercenary Organization doesn’t want to provoke them, so they want to know if you’re from that Sacred Powerhouse family, that must be why they are testing you,” laughed the Light Shadow Monster.

”I see, so they are indeed wary of the Sacred Powerhouse family? And when I was in the Desolate Star System, some of the top ten Powerful Families also mentioned Sacred Powerhouses; no wonder they were also somewhat peculiar toward me. They actually think I’m some sort of Sacred Powerhouse!” Jia Yan finally understood.
