Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

Chapter 1094: Chapter 25 Taia’s Countermeasure! [First Update]

”Forget it, when the time comes, I’ll sense it myself. If it is as they say and there is no Lord Level presence on Dragon Bell Star, what harm is there in meeting them? Without even Lord Level beings, why would I be afraid?” Jia Yan said coldly.

To put it bluntly, as long as he wasn’t going to the mercenary organization’s headquarters, he was fearless.

Moreover, by that time, it would be easy for him to determine whether Dragon Bell Star housed Lord Level beings or not because he had the Light Shadow Monster, an assassin concealed within him. With the means at the disposal of the Light Shadow Monster, detecting the presence of Respected Level Monsters was a trivial matter!

Jia Yan continued to be silent, while the Light Shadow Monster, which sometimes was awake and sometimes not, began to instruct Jia Yan once more.

Over several months, the Light Shadow Monster spoke less and less, explaining to Jia Yan that it wanted to conserve as much of its life as possible so that it could help Jia Yan for as long as possible.

Jia Yan was somewhat frustrated about this and had asked if there was any way to help the Light Shadow Monster extend its life. However, the creature had informed him that its body was made of extremely advanced materials, and any extension of life would require techniques far beyond those of the Northern Star Domain. Of course, if there were any hidden advanced technologies in the Northern Star Domain, it wasn’t impossible to extend its lifespan slightly.

Fortunately, Jia Yan’s comprehension far exceeded the Light Shadow Monster’s expectations. By reducing the time spent speaking, its life could be significantly prolonged.

”My strength will increase again in a month, but the increase has to be in true strength. Thus, I need to choose a powerful direction for improvement...”

Jia Yan had a somewhat unreliable premonition about the test in a month’s time. The opponents clearly knew his current strength and would certainly be prepared, so to thwart their plans, he needed to achieve a level of power that surpassed their expectations!

”Their strategies for dealing with me on Dragon Bell Star come down to using either technological or strongman tactics. I’m not too worried about the strongman part—as long as their Lord Level Strongmen are on the planet, I’ll have room to maneuver with Senior Light and Shadow’s warning. But if it’s technological tactics, that’s going to be somewhat more difficult to deal with.”

After thinking it over, Jia Yan decided to practice Space Travel and Traverse Space as his defensive techniques because as long as he mastered these moves, he could respond to many emergencies. Even in the face of unexpected events, he would at least have a way to escape.

”Traverse Space is, in essence, similar to the Gravitational Wave Fluctuations I’ve experienced before, though it involves compressing space. Senior Light and Shadow has always wondered why I have such a Talent for traversing space. What he doesn’t know is that I’ve gone through several gravitational wave travels, and in terms of gravitational wave research, we are behind the Orion Arm here in the Starry Sky, so my experience with gravitational wave travel is my greatest advantage...”

Jia Yan considered many options, ultimately choosing Space Travel and Distorting Space as the breakthroughs to focus on for the next month. After all, a month may sound long, but in reality, it passes in the blink of an eye. He didn’t want to spend time cultivating a direction just to find it useless in combat!

Apart from Jia Yan, the entire Giant Mosquito Fleet, under Kama’s command, optimized their personnel to the maximum. The members who originally operated three hundred Battleships were divided into several groups and Kama trained a part of each group. Over the course of a few months, all current members of the fleet trained in the Pi over Yu Tactics with Kama, who had greatly advanced in her command skills. In future battles, the fleet’s current members would cooperate even more closely with Kama and their tactical effectiveness would certainly be more rational and powerful!

Everyone in the Giant Mosquito Fleet, including Jia Yan, was rapidly gaining strength.

And as an Outsider force, the Giant Mosquito Fleet began to gain some notoriety in the entire Northern Star Domain due to a previous battle.

Some information about Jia Yan was dug up, revealing that he was not a native Strong One of the Desolate Star System, which somewhat disgruntled some forces that weren’t exactly friendly toward the Giant Mosquito Fleet. Yet these forces had no excuse to do anything to them, because at least on the surface, the Northern Star Domain was open to outsiders, and if it had not been for the Giant Mosquito Fleet’s involvement in the war between the Hao Tower Alliance and the Red Tower Alliance, their presence would have been considered a normal phenomenon. Every so often, similar nomadic forces arrived in the Northern Star Domain, some became famous while others were swallowed up.

The mistake of the Giant Mosquito Fleet lay in being hyped up by the Red Tower Alliance. Initially a minor force, they had become a medium force after acquiring new Battleships supported by the Hao Tower Alliance. With an excellent commander like Kama, capable of employing the Overwhelming Tactics, and Jia Yan, a strongman whose combat power matched that of Dignitaries, people realized that their power could rival even the weakest major forces!

This was while the Giant Mosquito Fleet was still developing, and when people discovered that Kama was the Princess genius ridiculed three years earlier, they became nervous! As a Princess of a fallen nation, her rallying power was unbelievable! If the Giant Mosquito Fleet continued to grow under her name and even managed to fulfill Kama’s wish to restore her nation, wouldn’t a large force comparable to a National Alliance emerge?!

Should this force somehow combine Kama’s ancestral nation’s technological prowess, it could morph into a force that integrates maximum military and power, becoming a force not to be underestimated!

Some forces’ thoughts were rather uncomfortable with this development.

Of course, the anxiety of all these forces paled in comparison to that of one particular force. Or rather, one family!

This family belonged to a small nation within the Northern Star Domain, and its presence was significant to the Northern Star Domain as a major space technology production area. It was also an independent interstellar entity—easy to defend but hard to attack—with an excellent strategic location.

But at this moment, an entity within the realm felt an extreme sense of insecurity about their newly secured position as the leader of the nation.

”That Princess Kama, her abilities are indeed formidable! In just a mere three years, she has pulled in such a powerful ally from the Desolate Star Domain and even actually employed the Overwhelming Tactics, she’s certainly becoming a formidable enemy for us to contend with!”

A Bella clan strongman sat in the high seat of authority.

He was in a massive conference room that differed from those of other nations and alliances in the Northern Alliance, filled with an overwhelming sense of high technology, seemingly surpassing that of the entire Northern Star Domain.

And the participants, who seemed to be real people sitting in their places, were actually all in faraway locations. In the Northern Star Domain, only one nation possessed this technology...

Taia!

Such was the name of this country, known throughout the Northern Star Domain as a land of high technology.

The entity seated at the head of the table, having thrown out his topic, waited for suggestions from the people around him. He appeared similar to an Earthling, but his size matched that of a typical Bella, about five or six meters in height; apart from that, he looked like a dignified middle-aged Earth man.

But those who knew his identity would never underestimate this being, for he was the current supreme leader of the Country of Taia, and also the chief of the Tianwu Tribe who had ousted the former king and the Taia royal family three years ago—Tianwu Liuyu!

”Let’s hear it then, Princess Kama... no, the criminal Kama’s recent actions, how should we deal with them?” He looked around at the virtual figures and casually asked.

Having been in power for three years, his authority had solidified, and he had roughly made connections with foreign and external alliance forces. The rule of the Tianwu Tribe in Taia was on the brink of stabilizing, but the emergence of news about Princess Kama immediately caused ripples in the nation once again, making Tianwu Liuyu somewhat anxious.

”Lord King, your rule was sanctioned by many alliances. Although this criminal Kama is still alive, she is of little concern. At the same time, you should know that the Giant Mosquito Fleet, though decent in strength, is merely an insignificant annoyance compared to the full might of our family and nation. If they dare to attack, the collective strength of our entire nation is certain to be more than they can withstand.”

”That’s right, and the Giant Mosquito Fleet has already caused some discontent within forces in the Northern Star Domain. We just need to fan the flames a bit, and wouldn’t destroying a power of merely a thousand battleships be a trivial effort?”

Several voices rose, clearly not overly fearful of the news about the Giant Mosquito Fleet and Kama’s appearance.

Hearing these responses, Tianwu Liuyu felt more confident about the situation, and his smile grew. His subordinates’ words were the greatest comfort to him.

”Good, then I leave these matters to you. Listen, if you can keep the Giant Mosquito Fleet away from our national borders, then do try to prevent them from coming, as there are still many within the nation who have fond memories of that tribe, which could potentially cause some disturbances.”

”Yes!”

The virtual presences nodded in unison, acknowledging their orders.

As Tianwu Liuyu watched the virtual beings disappear one by one, he opened a holographic screen that displayed Jia Yan being interviewed by the media, with Princess Kama and her delicate features charmingly standing behind him.

”Princess Kama? Heh, if only your mother had accepted my pursuit back in the day, all of this would be what your family deserved.”

”Moreover, for a family that possesses such a high-tech nation to not develop military power or pursue strength is entirely wrong! Just watch, under my command, Taia will become one of the most top-tier nations in the Northern Star Domain.”

”I hope you do not come to disrupt my ways; otherwise, even if you manage to grow powerful, you will never be able to contend with the one standing behind me. Thinking that being under Jia Yan’s protection will help? Humph!”

The middle-aged man said these things and then closed the light screen.
