Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

Chapter 1071: Chapter 2: The Invitation of the Hao Tower Alliance! [Second Release, Subscription Requested]

”Since the Northern Star Domain is like this, my actions will be much smoother, and after leaving that mysterious giant star in the Chaos Starfield for a full three months, my strength has made substantial progress. Now facing those of Lord Level, I might even have the power to fight! Even if I don’t have that yet, as long as Senior Light and Shadow is with me, my strength will certainly continue to improve until the day I can deal with them!”

”Of course, there’s another advantage, and that is the combat power of the Adisa. It will gradually be restored as I search for technicians and repair the devices...”

”So for me, the more time passes, the safer the Northern Star Domain will become!”

Thinking a lot, Jia Yan still didn’t have any ideas about giving up returning to the Chaos Starfield for cultivation now and waiting to become stronger before making an appearance.

Because what he had to do was rather urgent. He could not afford to waste time!

”I hope among the technology of the Northern Star Domain, there will be a plan that allows me to return to Earth. I heard from Kama that there seemed to be some clues previously.”

Jia Yan looked forward to the pitch-black universe starry sky, seemingly waiting for the arrival of a new world!

Even though he had experienced many things in the bustling starfields, in his heart, there was always a thought that couldn’t be shaken—that was the desire to return to Earth, his homeland. This thought constantly urged Jia Yan to swiftly become stronger, so strong that he could obtain the means to return to Earth.

”Lord, the Northern Star Domain consists of hundreds of states, some of which are incomparably powerful, and others extremely weak. The powerful ones, such as the Borla Empire established by the Borla Family, occupy two entire galaxies. There is also the Hupi Rong Empire, which also occupies two galaxies. There are several other empires that completely occupy one galaxy each. Of course, among these hundreds of states, many are countries sharing the same planet, mostly of an alliance nature. But there are rifts between the alliances, such as the border defense fleet we encountered before, which is an alliance established by several border countries—the Hao Tower Chaotic Star Region Border Army, abbreviated as the Hao Tower Border Defense Army.”

”However, the alliances have mutual agreements. In some official occasions, each alliance almost belongs to the same camp—the Northern Star Domain Alliance. But in reality, the terms of these agreements are incredibly chaotic, there are always alliances or empires using terms from the alliance to start wars. The wars in the entire Northern Star Domain can be said to be caused by these alliance terms.”

Kama explained some of the intricacies of the Northern Star Domain to Big Mosquito.

She seemed to be extremely familiar with the specific affairs of the Northern Star Domain, at least much more so than she initially understood the affairs of the Desolate Star System. It seemed that she had long been mingling in the political scene of the Northern Star Domain.

”So it turns out that the water in the Northern Star Domain runs deep, and there are even Semi-permanent Star Level Strong Ones who have destroyed small countries on a whim?” Jia Yan listened in utter shock.

”Yes, that was just an incident that happened twenty years ago, but the alliance that the small country belonged to then started a major war with the opposing alliance, and it seems like the war has not ended even now,” Kama said with a shrug.

”Even with Semi-permanent Star Level Strong Ones, alliances cannot use them as decisive combat power? The Northern Star Domain truly deserves its reputation as a warlike region, and we mustn’t be too arrogant here,” Jia Yan thought, almost sticking out his tongue in secret after hearing this.

”But Lord, you don’t need to worry about anything. For these alliances, it is unlikely they would start a war with a fleet from another place that has no spoils to offer. On the contrary, they would be very keen to enlist us. If I’m not mistaken, we will soon be approached by Union Forces!” Kama expressed her lack of concern for Jia Yan’s worries.

Just as Kama was speaking, the fleet’s communicator coincidentally received a message!

”Lord Jia Yan, Marshal Kama, the Hao Tower Border Defense Army of the Alliance has sent an invitation, inviting our fleet to visit their headquarters. They say there is important business to discuss!”

Hearing the words of the communicator, Jia Yan looked at Kama with admiration, showing a somewhat suspicious expression regarding her identity.

However, Kama was obviously unaware of Jia Yan’s thoughts, only offering a slight smile at this moment. It seemed that after arriving in her home starfield, her true nature gradually returned, and she even started to seem somewhat ladylike!

But she was still herself, and after a nonchalant smile, Kama burst out laughing heartily to Jia Yan, ”How about that, Boss? Wasn’t I right? They indeed want to invite us. However, I suggest that we should still go for the visit this time. After all, it’s a good opportunity to compare our fleet with the forces of the North. Also, it’s not wise to show an uncooperative attitude right after arriving, as it would be bad to offend larger powers.”

”And I’ve thought about it, the power of the Hao Tower Border Defense Army is actually not strong. They are controlled by several large countries from the rear. Even though they intend to be independent, their logistic resources are provided by the large countries, making complete independence impossible. Instead, their power is heavily restricted because they have a rebellious streak. I estimate there will be no danger for our fleet entering their headquarters. If we visit, we shouldn’t accept too many benefits from them, and they probably won’t be too angry when we decline.”

Kama analyzed with clear reasoning. According to her, the Hao Tower Border Defense Army of the Alliance was just a small alliance in the Northern Star Domain, yet she understood it so well—it might even surpass Jia Yan’s estimation.

”Alright, since you suggest so, our fleet will accept their invitation. I’ve long been wanting to see the prosperity of the Northern Star Domain, now I can finally broaden my horizons,” Jia Yan replied with a smile, offering no real objections.

After all, he didn’t find any significant flaws in Kama’s reasoning, and they had been in contact for quite some time. He trusted Kama’s character, believing she would not deceive him over something like this.

The entire Giant Mosquito Fleet slowly shifted its formation and set course in a certain direction within the starry sky, powering up to electrically shoot through the cosmos!

...

Hao Tower Border Defense Army of the Alliance.

This was a military organization near the Chaos Starfield, with a history that can be traced back hundreds of years.

Centuries ago, a flanking division of Luozi Empire’s army ventured into the Northern Star Domain without proper authorization. Their method of approach was believed to be through the Chaos Starfield, a route at the time no one thought a large fleet could pass through. By the time the Luozi Empire’s high command ordered this flank division to return and apologize, the border star systems of the entire Northern Star Domain had already been devastated. The loss for the Border Star ’Hao Tower’ was considerable, a setback of several hundred years.

As a result, a border defense army sent by several major alliances was stationed in Hao Tower. They were officially known as the ’Hao Tower Border Defense Army of the Alliance’.

However, over the next few hundred years, the Hao Tower Border Defense Army constantly prepared for an enemy that never came—the Luozi Empire’s army. Instead, the Luozi Empire attacked the Northern Star Domain several times through other channels, nearly causing the Hao Tower Border Defense Army to lose its military designation.

As the situation weakened, the upper echelons of the Hao Tower army started having ideas. The unique political turmoil of the Northern Star Domain was so peculiar that, decades ago, this army, which initially belonged to another alliance, officially received permission from the headquarters of the Northern Star Domain Alliance to become a new alliance of equal status, with autonomous powers!

Their semi-independence naturally faced opposition from several major benefit alliances, but given the overall chaos in the Northern Star Domain, and lacking other alternatives, they could only initially resort to economic sanctions before considering the option of war.

On this day, on a terrestrial planet close to the Chaos Starfield where the headquarters of the Hao Tower Border Defense Army was located, salutes of cannon fire erupted!

Accompanied by the booms of cannon fire, one could see a not-so-small fleet slowly approaching in the universe’s starry sky...

”I, on behalf of the Hao Tower Border Defense Army of the Alliance, feel a heartfelt welcome for the arrival of the esteemed members of the Giant Mosquito Fleet.”

”What you esteemed guests see is the welcome fire salute of our star, composed of one thousand five hundred shots, representing the history of one thousand five hundred battles fought against external forces in the history of Hao Tower Star, as well as the independent legal and historical status of the Hao Tower Alliance.”

”Please be aware, distinguished guests from the Desolate Star System, the reception on Hao Tower Star is eagerly anticipated by two billion citizens of the Hao Tower Alliance and by ten million fighters of the Hao Tower Border Defense Army. I believe that the arrival of your esteemed fleet will qualitatively enhance our relationship, marking a new Chapter for both parties.”

Through a series of broadcasts and communications, the entire welcome statement for the Giant Mosquito Fleet was broadcast, heard not only by the astonished members of the Giant Mosquito Fleet but also clearly on Hao Tower Star.

”Uh? What’s going on?”

Jia Yan, who was on the fleet, was also stunned.

It took almost ten days for the Giant Mosquito Fleet to reach Hao Tower Star, after all, there was some distance from the true Chaos Starfield, and during those ten days, Jia Yan had taken Marshal Kama’s words seriously, thinking the visit here was merely a brief appearance before leaving without a trace.

But including him and Marshal Kama, the entire Giant Mosquito Fleet did not expect such a grand reception awaiting them!

”Damn, Boss, I was wrong. We just received intelligence that the Hao Tower Alliance has recently been at odds with several major alliances behind them, arguing for legal independence. We are the first external force to visit after their dispute started. They deliberately made such a big fuss, using us as a pawn!” Marshal Kama suddenly received some information and spoke to Jia Yan with a wry smile.

”Ah?” Jia Yan was taken aback; although he had always been aware of the chaos in the Northern Star Domain, being immediately involved in such an incident was more than he had anticipated.

But the Giant Mosquito Fleet had already arrived; they couldn’t just say there had been a mistake and turn back, could they?!

Besides, those one thousand five hundred cannons, besides serving as a salute, were now aimed at the entire Giant Mosquito Fleet. They weren’t just for show; they could also fire real anti-air shells!

”Let’s go down. Anyway, being used as a pawn is not necessarily bad for us. Surely those alliance forces won’t attack our fleet just for this reason, will they?” Jia Yan said somewhat gloomily.
