Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

Chapter 1090: Chapter 21 Peak of the Dignitaries! [First Update]

”Ah! We are the interview media team specially appointed by the Northern Star Domain Alliance and do not belong to the Red Tower Alliance. According to the rules of the Northern Star Domain, you cannot harm us!”

After a battleship surrended directly, Kama sent a team of elite soldiers to take custody of the soldiers from the Red Tower Alliance inside, and unexpectedly encountered a peculiar situation.

At this moment, the war was nearing its end; the vanguard of the Red Tower Alliance, this absolutely elite group headed by a commander, had become nearly annihilated before the Giant Mosquito Fleet, which previously everyone in the Northern Star Domain had underestimated.

The battleships that could escape were few.

”Media team?” Upon hearing this news, Kama was immediately stunned.

Afterward, she smiled faintly and dialed Jia Yan’s contact number.

”Boss, our reputation in the Northern Star Domain isn’t very good right now. We have a media team here now, which is a rare opportunity to clear our bad reputation.”

As soon as Jia Yan answered the call, Kama’s spirited tone was transmitted to his ears.

Clear our reputation?!

Jia Yan was somewhat startled upon hearing this.

”This is the frontline reporter team. We are fortunate to have obtained the consent of the high command of the victorious Giant Mosquito Fleet to conduct a live interview with them.”

A string of unnatural verbal expressions came through the media.

At the moment, most of the Northern Alliance media, due to the intensity of the battles, had entered the commentary in the media studios, and the re-broadcasting of the frontline broadcast caused many media to directly connect to the broadcast!

But was this the frontline media broadcast team that had direct contact with the Giant Mosquito Fleet?

Anyone with clear eyes knew that the media team had fallen into the hands of the Giant Mosquito Fleet.

However, the current broadcast room didn’t care about the underlying story as long as it was captivating.

”Good, this is the Red Tower Alliance broadcast room. We have a few questions for Lord Jia Yan of the Giant Mosquito clan.”

”Lord Jia Yan, are you an Outsider invading the Northern Star Domain? And if you think we, the Red Tower Alliance, are easy to bully, please prepare for an outright war with us. You should know that the strength of our Red Tower Alliance is definitely not comparable to that of the Hao Tower Alliance, and it cannot be represented by this mere vanguard army alone. If you wish to start a war, we of the Red Tower Alliance will surely make you regret it.”

As soon as the live broadcast’s words spread, sharp questioning voices immediately came from the Red Tower Alliance broadcast room.

Jia Yan stood proudly in the broadcast battleship’s interview seat, now somewhat mocking as he looked at each screen connecting to this live interview.

These screens were all broadcasting this war from Alliance or major media studios, with hosts and guests, some of whom were very powerful, seemingly including Dignitary-level figures.

In the many media studios, the first to speak was the official media studio of the Red Tower Alliance, while other Alliances’ studio hosts seemed to enjoy watching the drama unfold.

The host of the Red Tower Alliance’s studio, naturally aware of what the Red Tower Alliance was doing in the Hao Tower Alliance, knew that this whole ”invader” business was just an excuse. But now he put on a face of a victim, clearly aiming to claim the moral high ground.

Seeing the host’s aggrieved yet vehement expression, Jia Yan coldly shook his head.

”Before I speak, dear viewers, please understand that I have no intention of starting a war with the Red Tower Alliance, nor with the Northern Alliance. I, Jia Yan, am just a Starry Sky Wanderer. For me, it makes no sense to do senseless things, and I hope the Northern Alliance sees my goodwill.”

”You say it’s goodwill, so what are you doing now? Attacking our vanguard, sabotaging significant affairs of our Alliance, and killing more than ten thousand of our troops, including our commander! Dare you call that goodwill?” the host scornfully retorted.

Jia Yan looked at him and then spoke in even colder tones: ”My fleet had no intention of joining this battle. Had your Alliance not unilaterally labeled us as invaders, we would have left the Hao Tower Alliance long ago. I wonder how your Alliance would respond to that?”

”This...” The host was not a political figure, and despite his eloquence, he dared not represent political figures in his speech.

At that moment, Jia Yan no longer paid attention to him, since the attack of the Red Tower Alliance on the Hao Tower Alliance was utterly unreasonable; on this point, he did not need much sophistry.

”I hope that, aside from the Red Tower Alliance, the citizens of the other alliances understand that my Giant Mosquito Fleet has a friendly relationship with the Northern Star Domain. Moreover, my fleet sought refuge in the Northern Star Domain after hearing about its greatness and its considerable inclusiveness toward Outsiders. Hence, we ventured into this vast area; unexpectedly, we encountered such an incident upon arrival. We hope that in the future, the Northern Star Domain will not disappoint my Giant Mosquito Fleet, thank you!”

Jia Yan then engaged in some questioning with media representatives from alliances other than the Red Tower Alliance, simply clarifying the true situation of the matter. However, this type of situation inevitably led to each side thinking it had reason on its side, making it difficult for Jia Yan to clear his alleged identity as an invader, seemingly cemented by the Red Tower Alliance.

The live broadcast ended quickly; some issues could not be resolved simply through sophistry. Sometimes speaking too much could have the opposite effect.

So, Jia Yan ended the live broadcast sensibly.

”Lord, can, can we leave now?”

The live broadcasting team aboard the interview battleship asked Jia Yan, somewhat fearfully.

”Let’s go, and I hope you won’t spread any rumors out there. Otherwise, even if my Giant Mosquito Fleet is far away, we will still hold you accountable, understand?” Jia Yan said indifferently.

”Yes!” The leader of the interview team quickly nodded; not nodding at this moment would be foolish.

Not long after, the interview ship, flying the flag of the Northern Alliance, swiftly fled the combat zone.

At this moment, the entire Hao Tower Alliance had just received news of the unexpected victory of the Giant Mosquito Fleet!

”Boss, there’s a communication from Lord Men Bo!” Kama excitedly reported to Jia Yan, who had just finished hosting the interview team.

”Lord Jia Yan, you’ve actually won, and such a spectacular victory at that! You should know, we had already prepared for full-scale war on Hao Tower Star. You helped us repel their most lethal attack, and for that, we truly thank you.”

Just as the communication connected, the slightly astonished devilish face of Men Bo in bright red appeared before Jia Yan.

He was indeed shocked to learn that the previous expectations for the Giant Mosquito Fleet were merely to buy time by clashing with the elite vanguard of the Red Tower Alliance. Any ships from the Giant Mosquito Fleet managing to escape would have been considered a success for the fleet’s command.

But he had not anticipated that the Giant Mosquito Fleet would not only withstand the enemy but also achieve an unparalleled victory!

Suddenly, Men Bo, who had not held the fleet in high regard, now had immense respect for its strength.

”Oh? Could it be, Lord Men Bo, that you previously did not value our fleet much, that you still sent us into battle? Could it be that you wanted to use our fleet as cannon fodder?” Jia Yan, seemingly contemplative, asked with a smile.

”Uh, no, no, what I meant was that for your fleet, we didn’t expect to defeat the Red Tower Alliance vanguard with so little loss,” Men Bo hastily corrected his slip of the tongue. However, he understood that both parties knew that deploying the Giant Mosquito Fleet into battle meant the Hao Tower Alliance had no real confidence; it’s just that it was better now to leave some things unsaid for the sake of both parties.

”Alright, since Lord Men Bo so highly praises the achievements of our fleet, shouldn’t our remuneration be raised? Alas, the losses of our fleet in this battle were significant. If your alliance does not offer some compensation, it would truly be a loss for our fleet,” Jia Yan sighed, his tone subtly hinting at more.

”Okay, since your fleet has alleviated the biggest crisis of our alliance so far, it’s natural to increase the payment somewhat. We’ll have our subordinates discuss the specifics. Lord Jia Yan, with such strength as yours, let’s not talk money—it hurts feelings, hehe.” Men Bo changed his tone from that suitable for formal occasions to one that seemed very familiar during the conversation.

”Oh? The biggest crisis? Forgive my bluntness, but isn’t the greatest crisis for your alliance coming from the direction in front of you? The Red Tower Alliance’s three regular armies are attacking head-on, plus there are two more at the Lord Level, right?” Jia Yan asked, somewhat surprised.

”No, no, you might not be aware, but one of the Red Tower Alliance fleets we are directly confronting is currently being held up by the Western Fantasy Tower Alliance, while another is being blocked by my Red Tower Allied Army. As for the other one...” Men Bo paused mysteriously.

”The last Red Tower Alliance fleet has already collapsed, thanks largely to your Life-Extension Stone, Old Tower temporarily regained his peak strength. I forgot to mention, his strength is not just at the ordinary Lord Level but at the Peak of the Dignitaries! Under his assault, the leader monsters of that fleet were all ambushed to death by Old Tower, then our half-strength fleet went to attack and managed to rout them.”

”Hmm? Peak of the Dignitaries!” Jia Yan listened, visibly shocked and almost speechless.

He knew that the monkey old monster of the Hao Tower Alliance was a monster at the Lord Level, but he had not expected that, after using the Life-Extension Stone he provided, its strength reached the peak of the Lord Level!

It’s said that some existences at the peak of the Lord Level could even withstand a few exchanges with beings at the Semi-permanent Star Level, and Jia Yan had no confidence in facing them.

No wonder Men Bo now appeared so spirited; it seemed that the crisis of the Hao Tower Alliance had been largely resolved, and even having that peak-level Lord monkey monster, the Hao Tower Alliance’s overtly strongest beings were now stronger than the Red Tower Alliance’s overtly strongest, who lacked peak Lord Level strength.

”Hehe, then congratulations are in order for Lord Men Bo. Since the battle of your alliance is about to end, our fleet will not disturb you any longer. I hope the balance payment will be settled quickly; afterward, our fleet will leave your alliance,” Jia Yan said, somewhat apprehensively.
