Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

Chapter 1082: Chapter 13 Legendary Tactics! [First Update]

...

At a distance of millions of kilometers from the Tenth Fleet, inside a spaceship that was not a battleship, a beautiful woman looked around. She smiled faintly.

”Three years have passed; I will not fail again. Aligned With Victory, watch my triumph...”

”Uncle, just watch. Kama will definitely succeed this time.”

A crystal-clear tear drop fell to the ground.

Meanwhile, in a Camp-Level Spaceship not far from her, the Giant Mosquito looked at everything before him with his compound eyes, feeling somewhat sentimental.

”So, this is her tactic. No wonder her confidence is so strong. The risk of this move is too great, though. A single failure could mean the destruction of the entire fleet. Let’s see just how strong Kama’s real combat command ability is!”

”If things go wrong... I will have to intervene, after all, this is my fleet! How could a subordinate outshine the highest leader? Hehehe...”

At that moment, Jia Yan did not make a move; he was just watching Kama’s performance. It wasn’t time for him to act yet.

Out in space, a number of battleships were moving at extremely high speeds.

Though their speed was not yet terrifyingly fast, it was still breathtaking.

”Is this why Marshal Kama has us run drills? Is this the true Matea Tactic!? It’s just... unbelievable!” A soldier, observing the surroundings, was utterly astounded.

The other Battleship Soldiers, too, watched nearby through the screens, all with expressions of utter shock.

All the captains had the same expression, even Mo Ke, who had always been at odds with Kama, now had his large monster eyes bursting with a trace of panic, wanting to say something but unable to speak.

”Matea Tactic! Kama’s trump card is this, and here I thought I could rival her for power. Her command ability has reached this level. Hehe, Matea Tactic, huh? To experience such a legendary tactic within my lifetime, serving under such a capable person doesn’t feel like a waste.” He chuckled heartily, truly conceding to Kama.

This sentiment was echoed by several captains of the Giant Mosquito Fleet. Previously, these captains were not convinced by Kama’s command, but now, after Kama led the entire fleet in an eerie maneuver, they were instantly convinced.

What exactly is the Matea Tactic then?

The Matea Tactic, although complicated in explanation, did not appear complex. It was an eerie way of advancing.

Unlike typical movements, it was a battle maneuver where the entire fleet, commanded by one person, seemed to move as one entity.

The most direct manifestation of this was that the commander’s brain constantly needed to perform precise calculations, converting the analyzed data into commanding orders, which would then be relayed to each battleship. The whole fleet moved and attacked as if it was a single limb!

Easy to describe, but much more complex to execute, the high command of the fleet finally understood why Kama had been training them since the formation of the army; it had all been in preparation for this moment.

”We’re close now! Marshal Kama, the enemy is just 10,000 kilometers away. We’re approaching the attack range of both sides,” a subordinate reported from an observation ship, communicating with Kama aboard the Aligned With Victory via long-distance communication.

At this moment, the Aligned With Victory, unlike when Jia Yan was aboard, was crazily displaying data, with information furiously popping up.

It appeared that the Aligned With Victory was specially designed for a data-stream commander like Kama, allowing her to grasp all the fleet’s information most quickly and smoothly when aboard.

This message, too, was conveyed to the Aligned With Victory through a series of frequencies.

”Vessels 143, 157, and 231 perform a wing-over maneuver, vessels 295, 221, and 293 execute tail jetting. 4.2 microseconds later, vessels 191, 225, and 311 to bank 231 degrees horizontally.”

”At the same time, vessels 119, 115, and 113, with a time interval of 0.21 seconds, launch long-range guided missiles sequentially.”

”...”

Droplet by droplet, sweat fell from Kama’s luminescent face. Despite being five meters tall, she still looked somewhat delicate and distressingly attractive at the moment. If she were a bit smaller, to the Earth people, she would certainly be very appealing in a ’damsel’ manner.

But at this time, she wasn’t deliberately doing anything; it was all her natural demeanor. It seemed that only now was her true expression revealed, different from the usual casualness. Today, she even had the demeanor of an elite lady and the noble air of a powerful woman.

Her orders couldn’t possibly be uttered aloud; instead, she was using a covert cerebral communication function aboard the Aligned With Victory. To other battleships, it seemed as if Kama was speaking in person, but in reality, it was merely her thoughts being transmitted at high speed through the machine.

The entire fleet was now interlinked by Kama alone.

And the outer performance of the entire fleet became even weirder, as they deployed an energy shield in front of the battleship, and afterward, the coordination of the entire fleet made their actions speed up and slow down intermittently, making it almost ghostly.

This was the commander using data to control each battleship’s speed to manipulate the spatial distortion between them, allowing another battleship to enter the distortion created by the previous one, which not only increased the fleet’s speed but also nearly pushed the whole fleet into subspace!

This is the true power of the Pi over Yu Tactics—if the commander is skilled enough—using the concealment and reappearance of battleships could even directly evade most of the enemy’s attacks!

”What a formidable little girl. The era my master came from didn’t have this technology. Is this the Pi over Yu Tactics? This remote area has given rise to such impressive battleship technology. Indeed, every intelligent species should not be underestimated.”

Inside the Camp-Level Spaceship where Jia Yan was, not only was he surprised by Kama’s performance, but Senior Light and Shadow also greatly praised Kama’s command skills, something rare. It’s worth noting that this Light Shadow Monster seldom praised even Jia Yan.

”That’s right, she’s my subordinate,” Jia Yan bragged shamelessly.

Unlike the crew of the Giant Mosquito Fleet, this was the first time they learned of Kama’s command capabilities. The enemy, Red Tower Alliance’s Vanguard, was presented with a different scenario.

”What should we do? If the opponent has really mastered the Pi over Yu Tactics, then there’s a good chance half of our attacks won’t hit their battleships, while their attacks could hit us,” an analyst said gravely.

”No, wait!” another analyst suddenly spoke up, looking directly at the Tenth Army’s commander, ”Lord, the Pi over Yu Tactics can’t be perfect. The original General Piguwei was a Stellar Honorable, and only barely managed to use the tactic in actual combat. We’ve checked, their commander is just Heavenly Level; the tactic’s toll is too much for her to handle. Initially, she might evade one or two attacks, but if the number of attacks reaches a certain level, a mere Sky-level will undoubtedly fail to evade completely. We should launch a saturation attack now—even if we lose some ships, we will surely win!”

”Alright, let’s do that! Here they come!” Rzanine immediately decided to use the analyst’s strategy.

In the vastness of space, both fleets approached each other with combative speed.

Leading, were the homing missiles launched by both sides.

These missiles, incredibly fast, far outstripped their mother ships before rocketing towards the enemy.

However, when the homing missiles from both sides met in space, they attracted each other and collided!

Space shone with explosions like football fields, the bursting brightness originating from the colliding missiles.

The shockwave seemed boundlessly terrifying, turning a vast expanse of the starry sky blood-red.

”Red Tower Alliance’s Tenth Army...”

Watching the blood-red scene on the screen, Jia Yan, aboard the Camp-Level Spaceship, his eyes brimming with spirit, turned towards the enemy’s region in space.

”Giant Mosquito Fleet!”

And not far away, finally executing the Pi over Yu Tactics, the Tenth Fleet’s commander, Rzanine, also exploded with dazzling glare from his eyes.

Their gazes connected across the thousands of kilometers, igniting an endless determination to fight!

Still amidst the explosive shockwaves from the induced bombs, the leading battleships of both fleets had already charged into this explosive region, covering thousands of kilometers in mere seconds and colliding head-on!

Within seconds, they approached to a distance visible to the naked eye!

”Battleship 153 to 190, launch small interference missiles, Battleship 190 to 249, prepare for a cover fire from secondary canons, all other ships prepare for sequential shooting... ATTACK!!!”

Kama’s crisp voice reverberated throughout the fleet, stirring everyone’s hearts.

Under her command, the Giant Mosquito Fleet—still in secondary space state—suddenly transformed and unleashed a fierce torrent of secondary cannon attacks that had been long-prepared.

Following the explosive path of the induced bombs, the distance between the two fleets was just dozens of kilometers—in such close proximity that the sides of the ships were clearly visible.

As the Giant Mosquito Fleet launched their attack, the opposition was not to be outdone, releasing a massive series of equally bright lights from their secondary cannons firing in unison.

At that moment, the luminosity in that space region exceeded that of a typical stellar object, enough to blind any Earth person witnessing the spectacle, likely causing irreversible blindness!

The world seemed to change color in awe of the simultaneous firing from both fleets!
