Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

Chapter 1097: Chapter 28 Li Kui Encounters Ghost Li!? [Second Update]

”Kama, based on our current course, isn’t it true that off to our left is your country, Taia?”

At a time when the entire fleet’s command was extremely tense, Jia Yan suddenly asked.

”Um?” Kama had been looking at the survey data, and she wasn’t as optimistic as Jia Yan about the upcoming journey to Dragon Bell Star.

Hearing Jia Yan’s question, she paused for a moment.

She looked at the giant screen that the Marshal Commander was facing and, with a swipe of her finger, the view of the starry sky to the fleet’s left appeared on the screen.

Even though there was nothing there, Kama seemed to see something and then nodded, ”Yes, that’s where my motherland, Taia, is located.”

”Hehe, we’re so close to home, cheer up a bit and don’t look so grim,” Jia Yan said to her with a light smile.

”Uh...” Kama was startled, then looked around and finally understood why Jia Yan had said that. It seemed that the entire fleet had been affected by the previously tense mood she, as a Marshal, had set, and everyone was on edge.

At this moment, she faced Jia Yan from the other side of the communication screen, smiling with bright eyes and white teeth, her beauty striking: ”Alright, I was wrong, boss.”

After closing the communication screen, Jia Yan felt that he had added a bit to his expertise as a superior; after all, what was needed was the ability to stabilize the emotions of his subordinates, and he was doing okay.

”Lord, there is a battleship ahead approaching us, it bears the flag of Long Zhong Star.”

”Alright, let them come.”

Jia Yan said this to Kama then silently waited.

The upcoming journey to Dragon Bell Star was uncertain in outcome, but it was a necessary journey. Because Taia was not only key to Kama’s return to her throne, but also to whether Jia Yan could obtain the means to return home through the technological team of Taia.

Kama rode inside a large battleship— a giant battleship produced by the Hao Tower Alliance. Although it wasn’t as big as a Kuditian Camp-Level Spaceship, it reached a length of one and a half kilometers. Had it not been for the need to arrange strategic materials within, due to necessities, Jia Yan might have even moved here.

”As long as the upcoming visit to Dragon Bell Star goes smoothly, I can return to my motherland! Wait for me, Tian Wu clan, and the captured members of my family, as well as my father and mother from whom I haven’t heard till now; I will take back Taia!”

Kama watched a small, fast-approaching light on the screen, irritation flickering in her eyes. She knew that the leaders of Long Zhong Star might have some combat power, but they were timid towards external forces. So, at this moment, they would likely only be making a symbolic inquiry at best.

If they truly intended to stop the Giant Mosquito Fleet, sending just this single battleship would not be enough.

”Fleet ahead, you are approaching the territory of Long Zhong Star, please identify yourselves, or we will have the right to treat you as enemies and take action!”

From the public communication channel, this message was relayed by the approaching battleship.

It was the standard rhetoric for any power facing unidentified visitors. Kama believed that her fleet’s arrival was surely known to them and that they must understand who she was.

”We are the Giant Mosquito Fleet, and we apologize for our unsolicited arrival. Please allow us to pass; we are here for a friendly visit to Dragon Bell Star,” Kama replied formally.

The declaration of a friendly visit was, in reality, to meet with the exiled warriors of Dragon Bell Star. This was clear to any discerning person, as even though Long Zhong Star had not seen much war, they could at least discern this much.

After Kama sent this message, she unexpectedly had to wait quite a while!

She knew such procedural matters took time, but she hadn’t anticipated the unexpected response that would come.

”The Giant Mosquito Fleet? Sorry, but after verification, a fleet claiming to be the Giant Mosquito Fleet arrived at Long Zhong Star two star moments ago. Please do not impersonate the Giant Mosquito Fleet; otherwise, we will consider you as invaders!”

This answer left Kama somewhat dumbfounded.

”The Giant Mosquito Fleet has already come? Impossible! We are still here. What on earth is going on?”

”Marshal Kama, it’s not good! We’ve received the media signal from here, reporting the arrival of another Giant Mosquito Fleet!”

Suddenly, the alarmed voice of a subordinate reached Kama’s ears, causing her to hurriedly turn her gaze.

Afterward, Kama let out a surprised light chirp.

Moments later, within the Camp-Level Spaceship where Jia Yan was,

”Hmm? Before us, there was already a fleet claiming to be the Giant Mosquito Fleet that had arrived at Dragon Bell Star? What exactly is going on!”

Jia Yan listened to Kama’s report with some confusion. He was in a fog as Kama actually said that before them, there was already a force claiming to be the Giant Mosquito Fleet that had arrived on Dragon Bell Star, and they had also made a major declaration to the media on behalf of his Giant Mosquito Fleet?!

”I am the General Commander of the Giant Mosquito Fleet, as well as the Fleet Marshal Kama. I believe everyone knows me and understands that I am the Princess of the Original Taiya Country, as well as the first in line to succeed. Now, I announce on Dragon Bell Star that the Giant Mosquito Fleet will forever maintain a friendly and cooperative relationship with the new king of the Taiya Country, and will never infringe upon each other. My identity is rather special, so in the future, the Giant Mosquito Fleet will not use my name to exert any pressure on the Taiya Country. I ask the media present and all major forces to bear witness.”

When Jia Yan saw the ’declaration’ sent over by Kama, he was also dumbfounded.

The person speaking in the declaration was a five to six meter tall beautiful Bella female, and after makeup, she actually bore an eight or nine tenths resemblance to Kama!

The declaration she made was actually an acknowledgment of the existing leadership of the Taiya people.

”Eh?” Jia Yan also noticed in the declaration video, behind the Kama, there stood a huge and terrifying figure. This figure had slender mouthparts, six long legs, and was all cloaked in a Bluish defense. If he wasn’t paying attention, he’d almost think this was his own Bluish defense’s appearance!

”My goodness! Is this the so-called Ghost Li encountering a real Li Kui? They’re pulling the real and fake princess trick on us!” Jia Yan was truly shocked.

Now things were getting interesting. For the first time in the Starry Sky, he had encountered such a cerebral enemy. Indeed, worthy of the Northern Star Domain, even their trickery was astonishing. If Jia Yan were an outsider, he might even believe this so-called Giant Mosquito Fleet.

However, when Jia Yan heard another sentence from the Kama in the video, he fell silent. It was then he understood the adversary’s malicious intent.

”To demonstrate the sincerity of Kama, I hereby formally declare on Dragon Bell Star to disband the exiled warriors of my country, and to announce forever the discontinuation of any restoration actions involving the original Taiya Royal Family. This is to consider the welfare of the Taiya people, and for the stability of the entire Northern Star Domain Alliance, a major decision of my own.”

After a moment of silence in the video, the entire venue was filled with the noise of media and other forces, along with the applause from the Bella people.

Amidst the thunderous applause, the Kama continued to issue passionate anti-war rhetoric, seemingly branding anyone who wanted to fight against the existing ruling family of the Taiya Country as menaces to the stability of the Northern Star Domain Alliance, deserving of punishment.

Jia Yan watched the entire video speechlessly and then saw the Kama who was linking with him after the video.

The Princess was also baffled at this moment, the counterfeit had staged a good play that had even left her unsure of what to do.

”Kama, let’s keep moving forward. This fake must be an illusion created by the current enemies of your Taiya clan. If we don’t move forward, the fake will become the truth. Who knows what goes through their heads, to come up with such an imaginative method to counter our actions. It’s really surprising,” said Jia Yan, somewhat speechlessly looking at Kama.

The ’Jia Yan’ and ’Kama’ in the video were almost indistinguishably false, and even the images of the ’Giant Mosquito Fleet’ broadcasted by the media closely resembled their current Giant Mosquito Fleet. Since the Giant Mosquito Fleet had just received a supplement of new battleships from the Hao Tower Alliance when they rushed to the Central Region of the Northern Star Domain, no one was clear what their fleet looked like now. The ’Ghost Li’ in the video had indeed tricked all the media, and even if the media had seen through it, they probably wouldn’t speak out.

Because this was the unified approach of the entire Northern Star Domain when dealing with external forces. Even though Kama herself was a Princess of the Taiya clan, these powers still harbored subtle hostility toward the Giant Mosquito Fleet!

”Unidentified fleet ahead, we warn you again. Please quickly leave this planet’s defense zone. If your fleet continues to advance, our star will treat your fleet as an enemy and counterattack!”

The battleship that had come to question them now issued its final ultimatum.

”Boss, what should we do? The blocking battleship must be in cahoots with the other side, but if we don’t go through, the fake will become the real us, and even if we speak out in the future, no one will believe us.” Kama was somewhat at a loss. Even though she was clever, she couldn’t have anticipated the enemies would use this method to deal with the Giant Mosquito Fleet, and the timing was just when the Giant Mosquito Fleet arrived!

If they destroyed the Dragon Bell Star’s battleship and advanced, they would confirm the attack on Dragon Bell Star, and the entire Northern Alliance would move against the Giant Mosquito Fleet!

But if they didn’t enter Dragon Bell Star, then the unidentified fleet posing as the Giant Mosquito Fleet would spread more rhetoric unfavorable for the Giant Mosquito Fleet’s future attack on the Taiya Country, or they might simply act on behalf of the Giant Mosquito Fleet in a way that goes against the interests of the Giant Mosquito Fleet, posing a great danger!

Neither advancing nor retreating was the right choice, and at this moment, Kama was unsure what to do.

”What should we do? Heh heh...” Jia Yan laughed.
