Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

Chapter 1096: Chapter 27 Righteous and Aboveboard! [First Update]

Jia Yan, through these pointers, also gained some benefits, as the common monsters within the fleet would often bring up minor details that even Jia Yan hadn’t noticed.

This was the reason behind the saying ’many hands make light work’; there were indeed some things that Jia Yan couldn’t have thought of on his own.

Having addressed those overlooked details, it was akin to a method for reviewing his past cultivation, and he even corrected several cultivation flaws that he hadn’t noticed before.

Aside from guiding others, his own cultivation hadn’t fallen behind either, because for him, the advancement of the entire fleet paled in comparison to his own progress. After all, Jia Yan was determined to become one of the Strong Ones, and the growth of the fleet merely served his personal cultivation goals.

As time rapidly passed in this fulfilling way, the entire Giant Mosquito Fleet grew increasingly stronger through cultivation.

In the span of a month, Kama’s Overwhelming Tactics were drilled no less than five times, because after a sweeping victory in which the number of damaged or destroyed battleships did not exceed five, the enthusiasm of the fleet’s members for training was extremely high. And in this short month, everyone’s understanding and coordination of the Overwhelming Tactics had improved significantly.

That Mo Ke finally conceded to Kama’s leadership abilities, halting his minor machinations, for he knew he lacked not only in status compared to Kama but also in strength by a considerable margin, so the desire to resist was gone.

Regarding individual power increases, just as Jia Yan had previously observed, the young Heavenly Peak monster had become the third true Starry Sky Level Expert in the fleet, besides Jia Yan himself and the late Old Suo Wu, whom Jia Yan had posthumously honored as a ’Martyr.’

”The other two Heavenly Peaks, as expected, did not become Starry Sky Level,” Jia Yan mused in his Camp-Level Spaceship while looking at the good news sent by Kama. He was not overly joyous but felt a bit of regret for the other two captains.

Nearly a month had gone by, and the destination was now in sight, but Jia Yan’s hope to nurture all three Heavenly Peaks into Starry Sky Level appeared to be dashed. Fortunately, the one he had the most faith in did achieve Starry Sky Level.

”It’s better to have one than none, right? With an additional Starry Sky Level, the gap in the strength of Strong Ones in the fleet is largely filled. In the future, under certain circumstances, this Starry Sky Level might play a significant role,” Jia Yan commented on the newly promoted Starry Sky Level without much excitement, as his combat level was far from something that just any newly promoted Starry Sky Level could contend with.

While Jia Yan might not hold it in high regard, the entire fleet was greatly inspired by the emergence of this Starry Sky Level. For these soldiers who had left their homes behind, what they sought was a future perspective. Being able to enhance their own strength was the real benefit.

If Jia Yan had the ability to nurture one Starry Sky Level, he could do so for the next one, and the newly promoted individual, under Jia Yan’s command, also began to instruct other fleet members. In such a positive cycle, the strength of the entire fleet would make significant progress.

Of course, the reason for such progress was that the members of the Giant Mosquito Fleet were too weak. If they were strong enough, even personal guidance from Jia Yan would not be effective, for in the later stages, it’s all about personal insight, and no amount of guidance from a Strong One, no matter how talented, would be useful.

”Lord, Dragon Bell Star lies ahead. We’ve been traveling in silence for quite some time now, circumventing many Alliance scouts. Thanks to some relations I have in the Northern Star Domain, we’ve managed to elude almost everyone, but now we must reveal ourselves, and that might stir the waters.”

As they approached their destination, Kama’s communication request came with these words.

”Not going out is not an option, let’s go,” Jia Yan said resignedly, shaking his head. He knew that a month of quiet could not last forever.

The Giant Mosquito Fleet had been traveling for a long time through the Northern Star Domain. It wasn’t that no powers had detected them, but rather that Kama had chosen sections belonging to Alliances that presumably bore no hostility towards the Giant Mosquito Fleet to traverse. Consequently, the fleet had indeed passed without hindrance from these powers and countries.

The challenge lay not just in familiarity with the Northern Star Field but also in testing the intelligence of a commanding leader. Jia Yan lost count of how many times he had heard Kama engage in lengthy discussions with bureaucrats from certain Alliances, which essentially amounted to making some verbal promises to the bureaucrats of those Alliances or powers. It was this careful navigation that allowed them to pass safely through a vast expanse of the Universe.

Dragon Bell Star, located somewhat to the south in the Northern Star Domain, once belonged to the Country of Taia. Hence, it was not unusual for exiled soldiers of Taia to seek refuge there.

Dragon Bell Star was part of the Black Wind Alliance, a strong power given its proximity to the Central Region of the Northern Star Domain.

In fact, each country in the central area had its own unique standing, including Taia, which was founded on technology. Even though the country’s military might not be strong, it wasn’t due to a lack of combat power, but because in this central area, small countries, no matter how they developed, could never compare to superpowers. Consequently, the nation focused on developing technology and became one of the significant sources of technological innovation in the Northern Star Domain!

These small countries generally wouldn’t be easily overthrown or attacked, since the power distribution in the Central Region was quite clear, and the existence of small countries served a purpose. Because of its technological prowess, Taia was protected by the surrounding Alliances. However, no one expected that a major Family from within Taia itself would turn against the Royal Family.

Such turmoil rendered the usually stable Central Region of the Northern Star Domain somewhat chaotic, but fortunately, after three years, calm was restored. Yet, no one expected the exiled Princess of Taia to somehow call upon the Giant Mosquito Fleet, along with an existence that bore the demeanor of a top-tier Strong One—the Giant Mosquito Strong One, ’Jia Yan’!

The entire Central Region of the Northern Star Domain Alliance was once again in a state of upheaval.

”Kama and the Giant Mosquito Fleet disappeared for a month, and we calculated that she would definitely appear with that fleet near Dragon Bell Star. Waiting here was definitely the right call!”

”Ladies and gentlemen, this frontline reporter has been garrisoned here for half a month. With more and more colleagues arriving and scouts from all major forces present, it’s clear almost everyone believes that the Giant Mosquito Fleet will appear, but the question is when will they, who have been missing for so long, arrive?”

”...”

Media outlets from the Northern Star Domain Alliance were already spread out around Dragon Bell Star early on. Along with a multitude of force scouts and even some Starry Sky Level Experts, this rather unremarkable Dragon Bell Star seemed to become a bustling tourist site, drawing much attention.

What was originally a border conflict in the Northern Star Domain would not have been of interest to the beings of the Central Star Domain. But, since the Princess of Taia was involved, the situation was different. The Central Region of the Northern Star Field had experienced some instability in recent years due to the chaos in Taia. At this moment, the people of the Central Region were naturally very interested in the movements of the Giant Mosquito Fleet.

And so, it was natural for the media and force scouts to come to Dragon Bell Star.

For Kama to return to Taia, relying solely on the Giant Mosquito Fleet was not enough. Dragon Bell Star had her natural sources of troops, and their combat readiness was quite decent. There was no reason for her not to come here.

As expected, just when the media personnel who had been waiting for over half a month were growing somewhat irritated,

”They’re here! External reports say that signals from an unidentified fleet have been detected!”

”They actually came from the southwest. I see, the fleet must have set a course that none of us could predict. Along the way, there were some alliances friendly to the former royal family of Taia, which is why they were able to pass through successfully!”

The media and forces paying attention to the situation noticed the anomaly.

Using remote surveillance ships, media workers and spies sharing information discovered news of the Giant Mosquito Fleet.

Indeed, just over five hundred million kilometers away from Dragon Bell Star...

A series of enormous ships were slowly flying through space.

These warships all bore a distinct Giant Mosquito emblem. Highlighted by this emblem, anyone could tell that they were the recently somewhat famous Giant Mosquito Fleet in the Northern Star Domain!

Although it was only a medium-sized fleet that could be seen anywhere, and even considered weak among its peers, it attracted countless gazes. This made many medium-sized forces who wanted to make a name for themselves, and even some smaller large-sized forces, envious.

However, the strength of the Giant Mosquito Fleet couldn’t only be measured by the number of warships. Jia Yan’s Starry Sky Strong ability, nearly enabling him to overpower rivals, coupled with Kama’s Overwhelming Tactics; the sum of these two factors almost gave the Giant Mosquito Fleet the strength of a large fleet. Therefore, attracting such attention was quite normal.

Of course, those concerned with this matter were even more interested in whether the Giant Mosquito Fleet could really gain control of their home country’s forces on Dragon Bell Star. If they could regain these combat powers, then the Giant Mosquito Fleet’s strength would rise once more. Adding Jia Yan and Kama to the equation, they might even firmly position themselves in the category of a large power!

Out in space.

”Lord, we just had a detection signal skim past our fleet. We have been discovered. Should we take countermeasures or change course?”

”No need, let’s just go there openly.”

Within the Camp-Level Spaceship, Kama asked Jia Yan, and received this response.

Kama did not overthink it and directly ordered the fleet to navigate the regular route toward Dragon Bell Star!

From afar, a terrestrial planet was not visible even to the eyes of the extraordinarily powerful Jia Yan. But on the maps of the Technological Warships, this planet was already sufficiently close, extremely dazzling.
