Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 5037 The Stronger Fist

At this moment, a Nine-Headed Hydra who wasnʼt a Nyssadra Clan member appeared, making many appear taken aback.

For many people, it was their first time seeing a Nine-Headed Hydra, much less a Nine-Headed Hydra Heavenʼs Warriors.

It was ridiculous.

There were almost no magical beasts or spirits that were Heavenʼs Warriors in the Celestial Transcendent Galaxy. They had been thinking that their human race was heavenʼs favored after the Seraphims, but it didnʼt seem like it was the case anymore?

Could it be that the heavens dictated that the lifeforms that can become Heavenʼs Warriors were denoted by the ruler of the galaxy?

Some started thinking, but the right answer was known by both Celestial Transcendent and even Realm Master Malzor Hexadra had an inkling.

The race that possesses the Celestial Seed for each galaxy will be bestowed the chance to become Heavenʼs Warriors from birth. Whether it was a blessing or a curse, many people were of the idea that it was a blessing, as most would want to serve the heavens. However, Realm Master Malzor Hexadra thought otherwise.

He only wanted to live for himself.

He despised these zealous Heavenʼs Warriors in his heart, for even their day-to-day common thoughts would be clouded by their praise to the heavens.

Nonetheless, as he was about to open his mouth, the Celestial Transcendent told him to wait.

In a few seconds, a Heavenʼs Warrior appeared in the airspace of the Hexadra Clan, their figure leaving afterimages as they appeared to fly like a butterfly.

It was a female Heavenʼs Warrior, her jade-green robe swaying from the vast storm of undulations.

”Venerable Knight Lussandra pays respects to fellow Heavenʼs Warrior.”

Heavenʼs Warrior Sero Faridza cupped his hands again, ”I have heard about the reputation of the Celestial Transcendent Galaxyʼs Venerable Knights. Iʼm pleased to meet you.”

The two of them greeted each other politely as though they werenʼt from opposing forces and a blood feud stemming from the war that was ongoing, not to mention the destruction caused by the hydras from the time the Celestial Transcendent Galaxy was established.

However, these feuds or enmities didnʼt mean much to the Heavenʼs Warriors when faced with a Divergent, much less an entirely new divergent threat like the Desolate Divergent.

Besides, all Heavenʼs Warriors belonged to the Heavenly Guardian Consortium, no matter which galaxy they were from.

In truth, the Heavenly Guardian Consortium was not only comprised of the Heavenʼs Warriors Organizations, such as the Divine Sentinel Order, Sacred Crusade League, and Astral Spring League, but also contained many different branches across the galaxies.

After all, the strongest Heavenʼs Warriors basically headed the Heavenly Guardian Consortium. The Celestial Seeds, like the Celestial Transcendent, were also a part of them, even though they didnʼt interfere much other than to deal with issues like the emergence of an extreme threat like the World Master or the Divine Emperor of Death.

”Yes, we should cooperate.” Venerable Knight Lussandra said straightforwardly.

Heavenʼs Warrior Sero Faridza nodded and was just about to conscript the forces of the Third Hydra Upper Realm here to aid the efforts when he heard her continue.

”Please send uninvited guests away. The Celestial Transcendent Galaxy hasnʼt opened up to any galaxy, as we still have the Closed Border Policy enforced. However, this doesnʼt affect the Heavenʼs Warriors, so feel free to call upon more Heavenʼs Warriors in a bid to search for the Divine Emperor of Death.”

”…” Sero Faridza paused.

He then turned to look at Realm Master Felza Nyssadra, who coldly uttered.

”Scram.”

She was extremely disrespectful to a Heavenʼs Warrior, stunning the Hexadra Clanʼs army.

Indeed, not many knew the only reason why the people of the Celestial Transcendent Galaxy respected the Heavenʼs Warriors was mostly due to propaganda, but if it were all air, then the people wouldnʼt be truly respectful to them. The Heavenʼs Warriors did indeed do their part in eradicating innate evil and existences that should not exist.

For that, everyone was grateful. Since this matter was publicized and celebrated, they were also respected.

However, things were somewhat different in the other galaxies.

It was the survival of the fittest!

Even if one was a Heavenʼs Warrior, they still needed to be stronger than the one theyʼre speaking to to be treated with respect.

And obviously, this Nine-Headed Hydra Heavenʼs Warrior, who supposedly looked a bit different from the other Nine-Headed Hydras, wasnʼt a match for the Realm Master, even if they were both True Exalt Beasts.

In the end, without saying anything else, Heavenʼs Warrior Sero Faridza actually turned around and left, seemingly moving away in another direction to search for the Divine Emperor of Death. He wasnʼt stopped.

”Iʼm also a Heavenʼs Warrior.”

Suddenly, a giant serpent tried to follow after him, but was intercepted by the troops stationed at the flank.

In the end, the serpent could only return dejectedly.

It seemed like the humans were well prepared.

His fellow beasts couldnʼt help but laugh at him, a worm even rolling on the ground in cacophonous laughter.

The defending army was speechless, but it made them a little unnerved.

The invading force was so strong, with over eight True Exalt Beasts and fifty Peak Exalt Beasts, and many more at the Exalt Stage. They had never seen so many beasts at the Exalt Stage before, as it wasnʼt a common occurrence even in the Upper Realms, making them wonder if the Nyssadra Clan had been prepared for this siege.

However, the Celestial Transcendent didnʼt think so.

There was no way to predict that a Galaxy Wormhole would appear here. Even his friend Hong didnʼt possess such an ability when divined against a Desolate Divergent. Moreover, if this wormhole was not the result of a natural anomaly but the result of a treasure like a replica, he would know, since it wasnʼt like it was his first time seeing a Galaxy Wormhole.

Behind him, Realm Master Malzor Hexadra inwardly sighed.

He had wanted to help Heavenʼs Warrior Sero Faridza hunt the Divine Emperor of Death and even allow the invading forces to help so that he could remain behind the scenes and do his thing, but it turns out that he would be leading his forces to kill.

He raised his hand and struck forward lethargically, ”Charge!”

”Destroy them!”

From the opposite side, Realm Master Felza Nyssadra roared.

Fifty-fourth day from the Covenant between the Divine Emperor of Death and the Celestial Transcendent broke, war broke out in the Six-Headed Hydra Upper Realm.

Fairy Qiyra Darkstar descended from the same star she had left through once, landing on the airspace of the Southern Abyssal Tidal Sea. The oceans raged below. She turned to look towards the distance as she used her ocular arts and noticed a peculiar sight of a vortex forcefully restrained by chaos energy, causing the spatial tunnel to be unable to propel objects to and fro, as the tunnel had been practically frozen.

At a glance, what seemed to be so simple contained many complexities, greatly shocking her.

Instantly, she looked around, wondering if the Celestial Transcendent was around.

Calming the heart that had increased the number of beats, she waved her hand and released a purple-robed, blonde-haired man from her astral ring.

Without saying anything, he used the Temporal Voidplane Ring, and both of them disappeared from the spot.

Soon, a few patrol troops came to investigate the scene as the nearest star above them flickered strangely while even a ray of light shot down, but finding nothing suspicious, they reported it to their superior as it was nothing of concern and was probably just a weird lightning strike. It got buried under the reports of many other anomalies that needed further oversight.
