Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 5029  A Pill Empress In The Making?

”…” Evelynn and the others were slightly dumbfounded.

”Ah, you and your extreme views.” Mingzhi pointed at Zenova, ”Davis, I give you full permission to ravage this woman in bed until she can no longer stand or do any work in the Shadow Wraith Legion.”

”Wha-” Zenova nearly raged, but she also blushed.

Her first time was still an unforgettable experience for her.

”Heh! Canʼt handle when itʼs your turn?” Mingzhi mocked her, feeling like she had won this time.

So what if Zenova exposed her for breaking the law?

She was also extreme!

”Thatʼs enough. Weʼre getting off topic.” Lea addressed the situation with an amused smile before presenting the forces their allies possessed and their projected growth rate, both national and international, which were represented within the sanctuary and the Golden Radiance Continent, respectively.

Natalya was seated like a Goddess, not speaking. Her presence was a bit scary, but they knew what she was like, so they werenʼt tense. They were fond of her if it werenʼt just for her fanatical state that became more prominent when Davis was beside her.

Most of the time, Davisʼs gaze would be on Natalya, filled with a sanctified emotion.

The two of them worshiping each other was not exactly a secret, but it was a rule that botched the haremʼs unity. It made them displeased, but since Davis still remained level-headed, they were not scared that Natalya would completely make him drift away from them.

After the External Affairs Department had predicted the growth rate for the allies and advised the Treasury Department and Administration Department on the allocation of resources, the baton was passed to another department.

Dalila then continued with introducing new pill concoction ideas from the inheritance she had gained.

Apparently, it contained as many as a few thousand Pill Recipes for items at the Exalt Grade and even a few at the True Deity Grade, which she was unable to decipher.

However, Pill Recipes were basically blueprints for understanding the properties of herbs and the way they fused when deciphered.

She was able to gain a lot of knowledge from this and introduced a lot of ideas.

Earlier, she submitted a pill recipe of her own, but she needed a unique resource. Now, she relayed more of her ideas, trying to interest Davis in obtaining them for her.

Davis promised he would get them when he ventured out for an assassination mission from the Heavenly Blight Hall or get them through Jiayi Crystalveil.

Only then was Dalila at ease.

The others were quite speechless.

If Natalya was a Davis freak, this sister of theirs was a pill freak!

They couldnʼt understand how she could be engaged in the art of pill making for so long without getting tired of it.

Even Mingzhi confirmed that Dalila wasnʼt at all sad that Davis didnʼt focus on her, even if she felt lonely at times.

However, they never knew they had greatly underestimated this sister of their harem, who managed to join because of a recommendation from Sophie and their mother-in-law, Nora.

If Dalila wasnʼt dedicated, would she have been able to comprehend the Phyletic Law of Alchemy? To increase the power of her pill flames, she had even learned from Tia without letting anyone know her purpose and made a pill to attract pure karmic flames from a strange dimension.

These flames can even refine karmic sin and karmic virtue and use them to increase the pillʼs rank! She had learned this when Davis secretly passed down to her how to refine these karmic factors.

However, she would have to rely on Davis to get her karmic sin and karmic flames.

Regardless, her prowess in pill concoction was second to none, and her knowledge was ever-growing. In all right, Tina shouldʼve surpassed her since in pill-making, the Five Elements were acknowledged to be the energy of creation for the most part, but Dalila still managed to walk ahead.

Moreover, with various Laws and people she had to make pills for, her horizons kept broadening day after day without end; she was greatly respected and adored.

It was just- they could never see her come out of the Pill Chambers.

They wanted to take a moment to advise her to socialize, but Dalila stopped them before they could even get to the topic.

Her mentality was firm.

”I wonʼt rest until every one of us sisters is in the Exalt Stage.”

Dalila declared.

At that moment, she had gained a great amount of respect, even from the big sisters, while Davis looked prouder than ever.

He couldnʼt help but say, ”Please make sure to get Shea in there, too. She isnʼt that interested in cultivation, but if pills could get her there, then I wonʼt deny it.”

”Oh,” Dalilaʼs gaze flickered.

Her face had quite matured from the time she was young and carefree, so when she smiled, there was an air of wisdom to it.

”Then you donʼt need to worry since Shea had already entered seclusion two weeks ago and has yet to come out to congratulate Panqa. Besides, did any of you see her earlier? I doubt she went shopping with them or is still teaching the children.” Dalila shrugged.

”Indeed, I think only Sheaʼs soul body is teaching the children occasionally. I havenʼt seen her main body or avatar recently.” Lea nodded.

She was mindful of Felix and Azaleaʼs growth, so she would also go to teach them occasionally, sometimes even homeschool them with the intent to instill her own values in them.

Davis was stunned before his expression brightened as he turned to look at the culprit.

”Hahaha! Zenova, it seems like Shea doesnʼt want to lose to you.”

Zenova nearly rolled her eyes.

Davis was highly amused as he nearly couldnʼt stop laughing, ”Good, good, if youʼre a source of motivation for her, no matter the reason, Iʼll also use that to make sure that Shea doesnʼt fall behind.”

Zenova glared at him.

Even though she liked how he laughed boisterously, it still couldnʼt help but irk her that she commented sarcastically, ”Iʼm glad I could be the villainess of her life.”

”Pfft~”

The others burst into restrained laughter, leaving Davis speechless.

However, he saw Evelynn also laugh.

Thinking this was the time when Evelynn and Zenovaʼs relationship could be mended, he wanted to address them.
