Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 5019  Panqa and Lanquaʼs Intentions

A while ago, Panqa and Lanqua watched Davis leave without saying a word.

A hint of sadness glazed their eyes, but they quickly smiled, shaking their heads in sync.

”Busy~”

”Always busy~”

They giggled at each other, seemingly amused.

Zenova had glanced at them, her expression curious.

”Are you two sad that he didnʼt pay attention even as one of you just became pregnant?”

Panqa and Lanqua quivered ever so lightly before the former shot a look.

”How did you know that I got pregnant?”

It wasnʼt easy to discover pregnancy when she had just gotten pregnant a week ago! It wasnʼt even announced yet. Did Davis tell her already?

Zenova merely smiled.

Even as a soul body, the reverse inheritance from her baby let her know the locations of the children borne from Davisʼs seed all the time, but indeed, she was unable to discover a new baby that had just formed, but just by seeing how Davis specifically focused on Panqa the short time they walked out, she was able to garner some clues.

Moreover, as she was standing close to them, she already got a vague feeling from the reverse inheritance.

These two clues were enough for her to know Panqa was pregnant.

”Answer my question.” Zenova said half-commandingly and half-amusedly.

”I-” Panqa was about to answer, but Lanqua interrupted.

”Thereʼs no need for you to contemplate. Of all the wives, we are well aware that we are loved the least by husband but we will never disturb them just because weʼre the last, nor would we listen to you. You donʼt need to fan the flames, Zenova.”

Lanqua harrumphed, her gaze distrusting.

Of the triplets, she was the leader and the figure with smarts, so the urge to protect Panqa swelled within her.

”You misunderstood.” Zenova said calmly with a half-smile, ”I have no intention to scheme here. It is rather getting tiring to say this every time I meet someone, but oh well, it canʼt be helped if it is for the sake of my Emperor.”

She sounded helpless, as though she was doing a favor for everyone, making Panqa and Lanqua speechless.

Shouldnʼt she say that her past behavior was the reason why everyone was doubtful instead?

Nonetheless, Zenova uncaringly continued.

”Loved the least- it is something I canʼt personally tolerate, but as long as there exists a harem, someone will have to occupy this position, but rejoice, at the very least, the two of you share it together.”

Lanqua rolled her eyes, ”If youʼre just here to pick on us, forget it. We arenʼt as free as you. Even with Panqa getting pregnant like you, we need to reach the Exalt Stage as soon as possible.”

In truth, Panqa and Lanqua were powerful.

They were Realm Masters who were in control of the Verdant Vale Lower Realm for a period of time, and hence, their comprehension of Light Laws and even Wind Laws was starkly high. They had entered the Empyrean Stage way earlier than many of their sisters, and for the same reason, their cultivation was also high, with both of them being at Level Eight Empyrean Stage.

The resources their elder sisters gathered for them from the Elemental Dimension were more than enough to show unity.

Only when they reached this point did they exit seclusion and go looking for Davis, only to find he was smitten with Aila for three whole weeks, which made them jealous, so after convening their sisters and deciding it was time to bring him out, Aila bribed them, making them fall.

Truly, they were weak to pleasures, but as a result, Panqa got pregnant, so they were more than satisfied.

But still, to remain in Davisʼs visual periphery, they felt the need to get stronger and help him out. Then, they will have more chances to interact with him as the elder sisters do, and his affection for them will automatically increase. Their thought process was simple but efficient since Davis really did not keep his affection withheld, willing to shower it on them whenever he had time.

Although they were the least loved, they were well aware that his love was boundless.

They could say for a fact that it was more than the average husband loved their wife.

They were more than sure of that when they married him in the sixth year of the Covenant. Even though he was extremely busy with his strange reincarnation cultivation, he accommodated their wishes and tried to marry them separately, willing to give them more time, but Panqa cried that she didnʼt want to get married alone, as she became emotional, causing Lanqua to also join and get married together with Davis.

It was one of the best moments in their lives, and they knew for a fact he was trying to make them happy, so they had no regrets or worries.

They were thoroughly satisfied with nightly affairs, but they only wished they could spend some more time talking and looking at the moon romantically. Hence, they needed to get stronger and would automatically be able to accompany him in dangerous adventures.

Zenova smirked in response, ”But you donʼt have to feel all down by yourselves since I intend to recommend your third sister, Zanqua, to the harem.”

”…?”

Panqa and Lanqua were confused.

What was this woman plotting?

Zenovaʼs lips curled when she noticed their silence, ”I see you were already grooming her with the intent to later introduce her into the harem.”

”Wha-”

”Of course not.”

Panqa and Lanqua reacted more than necessary, nearly making Zenova laugh.

The two of them blushed.

In a sense, they were indeed grooming Zanqua, but it wasnʼt that they wanted Davis to accept her; they wanted to correct Zanquaʼs attitude, teach her manners, and allow her to reform before getting to all that because they knew the Harem Council certainly wouldnʼt approve Zanqua based on her past as a bandit.

She had done too many evil deeds to count, like murdering innocents and pillaging villages and towns.

How could they allow such a person into their harem and taint the atmosphere? Zanqua had no class or tactfulness. They were afraid she would make trouble rather than be peaceful.

However, they still held a small ray of hope that one day, Davis would notice Zanqua after they managed to reform her.

After all, they were Zanquaʼs blood sisters and wished her all the happiness in the world. They didnʼt want her to be sad, much less without a companion.

But now, Zenova was going to recommend their Zanqua?

”You canʼt. Zanqua isnʼt ready yet.” Lanqua waved her hand, instantly denying permission.

”Do I need your permission? Zanqua is my subordinate from now on.”

Zenova walked away as her smug voice echoed.

”You- come back here!” Lanqua screamed with a hushed voice.
