Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 5020  Special?

Zenova didnʼt stop.

Lanqua and Panqa chased her, arguing all the way until they reached halfway to the mansion, but Zenova never seemed to give up.

Suddenly, Zenova stopped to look at them.

”Enough. The Harem Council will decide whether to let Zanqua enter or not after I bring up the matter.”

”Wait- please, if she gets rejected once, then she will have no chance…” Lanquaʼs voice had turned meek by now, worry filling her face.

She was afraid that if they brought up the topic too soon, Zanqua might be blacklisted.

On the other hand, Panqa didnʼt overthink such matters.

After arguing with Zenova for a while, she was secretly glad that Zenova was willing to help Zanqua, so why does Lanqua sound like the triplets were being bullied instead?

Only after Lanqua mentioned that Zanqua might not get in if she was rejected once did Panqa understand and also plead with her.

”Yes, yes… listen to Lanqua. Zenova, youʼre too bold, but Zanqua is only slightly bold. She is a good girl and will get hurt if she is rejected.” Panqa also pleaded.

Zenova shrugged, ”I heard that I also got rejected once, even hated and guarded against. Didnʼt I still manage to enter?”

”…” The two of them went silent.

Lanqua bit her lips, her canine teeth revealing, ”Youʼre special… you clashed with him, hated him, loved him… so you have deeply entrenched yourself into his heart, unlike us, who got together because of an accident.”

”…!”

Zenovaʼs expression froze abruptly.

She got the highest kick she had ever received in this month as her pride swelled from Lanquaʼs words. She barely managed to conceal her grin.

Still, the moment Lanqua acknowledged her envy, Zenovaʼs expression softened.

”You donʼt have to say it like that. Love doesnʼt begin because of promises and remains because of flattering words. It is actions that dictate love from the beginning to the end. Even if it was an accident, you two will always be in his heart. That, Iʼm painfully aware, but have also grown fond of since I know I wouldnʼt be abandoned, allowing me to be carefree. He would always go all-out for you, no matter the situation, so he mightʼve just gone to get something and will soon return to you. Mark my words.”

Zenova patiently said, lacking the usual authority in her tone as though she was advising her little sister, stunning Panqa and Lanqua.

”Iʼll also have to see Zanquaʼs performance in the Shadow Wraith Legion, so until I feel that she is good, I will not recommend her,” Zenova added.

Lanqua was unable to say anything as she saw a new side of Zenova before she forced out these words as she broke through her bias.

”Thank you~”

Zenova nodded and gestured, ”Letʼs go. A matter of pregnancy is of the utmost importance in the harem. Even if Davis doesnʼt come soon, we must go and inform the first wife.”

”Eh? You made up with big sister Evelynn already?” Panqa asked excitedly, ”Nice~”

However, Zenova shook her head, ”No matter the altercation between the sisters in the harem, rules must be followed.”

”…”

Panqa and Lanqua followed her silently as they shared a glance.

Zenova actually used the word rules instead of hierarchy, making them nearly laugh. However, they were satisfied by her display of unity, causing them to follow her into the mansion like they were her little sisters, even though hierarchy dictated that they needed to walk forward.

Soon, they reached the mansion, so when Davis appeared between them and grabbed Panqaʼs hand, Panqa couldnʼt stop smiling.

Lanqua looked at Zenova with renewed opinion, understanding that Zenova knew Davis a lot as though they were an old couple. She was in disbelief at how quickly she was able to understand him and have trust, the mark of a woman who will follow him to death.

Zenova merely shot a look at Davis as though it was expected, but she didnʼt stop, walking into the mansion before announcing.

”Panqa Davis, the twenty-second wife, has successfully become pregnant with our Emperorʼs child~~~”

”…!”

Davis, Panqa, and Lanqua were shocked as her voice boomed across the mansion and even the estate.

Panqa blushed heavily.

Couldnʼt Zenova be any more discreet!?

What was this kind of bullying? Wasnʼt this basically saying that she was rolling across the bed with Davis? It was so embarrassing. But why did it make her happy as much as she got angry?

Instantly, the Davis Family Estate was abuzz with movement, all of those who were available convening towards the mansion.

The ones in the mansion were the first ones to arrive.

”…!”

Davis was stunned as he saw Evelynn.

Her hair color had changed from purple-green to purple-red with silver strands. This meant she had successfully accommodated the bloodline of Evilbane Hexweaver Arachnid and Chaos Dragon, which might also mean that Hexena had successfully evolved into a new kind of beast!

He could still feel a dense aura radiating from Evelynn.

But before he could speak with her, Evelynn and the other rushed to Panqa, welcoming her.

Soon, a banquet was set up!

Zenova saw the fanfare and couldnʼt help but inwardly fume.

The excitement in the air was much more than when she got pregnant, even though it was normal because she knew she wasnʼt that welcomed at that time.

Regardless, she wasnʼt shaken at all.

She watched the ʼlittle sistersʼ she approved of being taken care of with a satisfied look as though she was the reason this pregnancy succeeded.

Nonetheless, the Davis Family was overjoyed!

Isabella and the others quickly swarmed Panqa and congratulated her, and the children also came to wish her, instantly making Panqa feel immense warmth.

Mingzhi came by Davisʼs side and elbowed him with a knowing look.

”How was Aila? You even trapped Panqa and Lanqua, causing the others to be afraid to go to you since they felt they might also be trapped and descend into carnal addiction.”

Davisʼs expression went wry, ”It was Aila who bribed them, but…”

He whispered into Mingzhiʼs ears, making her tremble as she heard about the rich experience. She was even stunned when she heard Aila could charm the entire Davis Family if she got powerful enough.

While the Davis Family was abuzz, this news soon reached the other powers, and Fenren Jadelight, who was currently sleeping in his magical beast form, perked his huge ears up as he heard the conversation in the Jadelight Clan. Suddenly, his boisterous laughed echoed across the Jadelight Clan.

”Hahaaha! Our Jadelight Clan finally has a true heir!”
