I Became The Chief Of A Primitive Village

Chapter 973, A Major Strategic Move

Su Bai continued manipulating the flames, letting the girls enjoy themselves to their hearts’ content.

Mainly, he could also test how long he could manipulate flames for, finally learning that it was unlimited.

As long as he wanted to stop, it would stop. If he wanted the fire to ignite, it would ignite. This was all driven by his Will.

“These few days I will research as much as possible to transfer the flames onto Shaman Bone Tablets, so that in future you can also use flames.” Su Bai transferred the flames back into the fire pit, to prevent them from floating about everywhere and accidentally burning something.

“Shaman, there is no need to hurry. Most importantly, Shaman should rest well first.” Yan Hua immediately said.

However, Yan Hua was very excited. But in order to let Su Bai rest well, she had no choice but to say this.

Regarding new things, Yan Hua was always the first to run to the forefront.

“This is not like you,” Su Bai teased her.

“Shaman, that’s because you have already given us many Shaman Bone Tablets. Up until now, they have not been put to use yet.” Yan Hua explained.

In Yan Hua’s personal Animal Hide bag, more than ten Shaman Bone Tablets had already been stored.

For a Totem Warrior, this was undoubtedly very extravagant.

It was for no other reason than some Totem Warriors did not even have a single Shaman Bone Tablet. Not to mention now, having more than ten all at once. Even some Mid-Stage Totem Warriors did not have this many on them.

“That’s because we haven’t truly reached the time to implement missions that require them yet. When those missions begin, I’m afraid you’ll feel these Shaman Bone Tablets are still not enough.” Su Bai said while walking towards the dining table, where the prepared breakfast had already been set out.

“Perhaps they’ll be put to use when the eternal night arrives.” Yan Hua also walked over.

“Indeed. Who knows if this year’s eternal night will be like, how different it will be…” Su Bai nodded thoughtfully.

Last year’s eternal night was precisely like this. Situations that had never occurred in the Flame Dragon Tribe’s history keep occurring.

Since there was already such a precedent, everyone had to prepare well this year.

“Shaman, don’t worry. Everyone has been training hard recently. Everyone’s strength has already greatly improved.” Yan Hua sat boldly in her seat and laughed heartily. “Moreover, everyone has Shaman Bone Tablets now, plus the weapons the Shaman made for everyone. We definitely will do well.”

The reason Yan Hua was so confident had a basis, it was just as she had said.

Shaman Bone Tablets were very extravagant items in every Tribe. This was also why the Green Vine Tribe and Earth Tiger Tribe were both truly unwilling to hand over Shaman Bone Tablets.

Warriors were the foundation of a Tribe. This was correct. But Shaman Bone Tablets were as equally as uneasy to come by.

Some Shaman Bone Tablets could only be activated by Warriors, but some Shaman Bone Tablets could be activated even by ordinary people.

As long as one had a Shaman Bone Tablet in hand, to a greater or lesser extent, it was equivalent to possessing half a Warrior.

“I have always been very reassured. I believe in you all.” Su Bai smiled gently.

Now that he possessed so many Skills, apart from his own safety being guaranteed…

What Su Bai most wanted to do was guarantee this Tribe’s development. After all, there was still some distance from becoming a city.

Therefore, he not only had to guarantee his own safety, but also had to ensure the entire Tribe’s safety.

At this time, Su Bai transferring Skills onto Shaman Bone Tablets became necessary. Expanding combat power was always the most fundamental aspect of protecting a Tribe. After all, the strength emitted by Shaman Bone Tablets was still much inferior compared to his own.

Su Bai completely did not need to worry that giving out Shaman Bone Tablets would pose a threat to his own safety. In any case, there were still so many loyal people around him.

“Shaman, the investigation of the entire forest’s Tribes that you asked me to conduct has already yielded results.” Ye Jiu reported very earnestly.

Ye Jiu now also took her three meals a day at the Yong’an Building. After all, apart from carrying out missions, she was Su Bai’s personal bodyguard.

Some time ago, she had been assigned to compile statistics on the number of Tribes in this forest. Of course, it was not the entire forest.

Compiling statistics that way, who knew how much time it would take. It was just compiling statistics on the number within a five-day hot air balloon flight range.

Five days’ time actually counted as long. Moreover, it was using a hot air balloon.

One had to know that one day of hot air balloon flight was equivalent to four or five days of travel on foot.

Therefore, five days of hot air balloon flight was equivalent to travelling for almost a month on the ground.

“How many Tribes in total?” Su Bai asked.

He calculated the time, from issuing this mission to setting out and returning, this timing was about right.

“Large and Small Tribes total over three hundred. Among them, there are twelve Large Tribes. The rest are all Medium Tribes and Small Tribes.”

Ye Jiu earnestly recalled her subordinates’ reports and continued, “Large Tribes include the Earth Tiger Tribe, Wild Fox Tribe, Giant Bear Tribe and so on. Medium Tribes include, for example, the Green Vine Tribe…”

Ye Jiu enunciated every word, stating all the intelligence. Moreover, she spoke very thoroughly.

“Which are the Tribes closest to us? Is their combat power and threat level high?” Su Bai asked.

He was about to begin paving the way for his external roads. In short, motorways and such needed to start being arranged.

Since these roads needed to be arranged, good relations had to be established with other Tribes.

Su Bai would not build these roads to their locations for nothing. But before that, he had to know about those connecting Tribes first.

“The Tribes relatively close to us? There are the Green Vine Tribe, Earth Tiger Tribe, and Pheasant Tribe. These three Tribes are all closest to us.”

Ye Jiu blinked her grey eyes. “Apart from one being a Medium Tribe, the other two are both Large Tribes. A Large Tribe’s strength is very formidable, but we will not lose to them.”

Ye Jiu simply did not want to mention the Green Vine Tribe. In her eyes, this Tribe posed absolutely no threat to the Flame Dragon Tribe.

On the contrary, the other two Large Tribes were worth mentioning. They were Large Tribes after all. They still held advantages in strength and manpower.

However, the reason Ye Jiu said they were not the Flame Dragon Tribe’s match was because the Tribe was now developing very well. Mainly also because of the weapons and Shaman Bone Tablets. Moreover, the Tribe had also Tamed quite a few Ferocious Beasts.

All of these had been Tamed using Shaman Bone Tablets that Su Bai had given. Apart from daily domesticated beasts…

There were also Ferocious Beasts with very strong combat power. Most had become the Totem Warriors’ companion beasts.

“Interesting. When the snow season arrives, we’ll begin negotiations with them,” Su Bai said, the corners of his mouth slightly upturned.

In his heart, he had already begun preparing to make the next strategic move. If this move was made well, it could allow the Flame Dragon Tribe to develop even further.

“Yes.” Ye Jiu would not ask further questions either. She only knew that the decisions the Shaman made were all correct.

Yan Hua and the others even more so asked nothing at all, quietly eating breakfast at the side.
