I Became The Chief Of A Primitive Village

Chapter 952, Protective Clothing

Su Bai led the girls to the garden, wanting to observe the White Foot Six Legged Insects’ situation.

“Shaman, can that honey be used to make many things?” Yu Ying asked curiously.

Recently, when cooking, Yu Ying would sometimes add some honey for seasoning.

Of course, this was all based on Su Bai’s recipes. The resulting flavours were indeed irresistible.

“I really miss the taste. Since bringing them back from outside, I haven’t tasted honey,” Yan Hua appeared eager to try.

“Honey’s effects are quite numerous. For our Tribe, it’s certainly beneficial to start producing them.” Su Bai recalled Earth’s honey.

The honey produced by White Foot Six Legged Insects was identical to honey. Whether appearance, hand-feel, or taste, all exactly like honey.

Since they were the same thing, Su Bai felt the effects should also be similar. This was personally tested and effective.

“Shaman, besides sweetness, what other effects does honey have?” Sha Lan blinked her blue eyes and asked.

Sha Lan’s cat tail hadn’t stopped. From departing the Yong’an Building until now, it kept swaying.

“Generally speaking, there are roughly three effects. First is relieving fatigue, second is regulating digestion, and last is strengthening immunity.” Su Bai paused, continuing. “When you’re very tired from training, you can go drink a cup of honey water.”

Actually, he had only roughly mentioned three effects. As for other effects, he could not recall them too clearly.

Anyway, these three effects were well-known. Basically, almost everyone knew them.

“I believe it can relieve fatigue, because drinking something so sweet immediately provides a full sense of satisfaction,” Yan Hua muttered.

She began savouring honey’s taste. That thick, sweet feeling was so good.

“Shaman, with so much honey suddenly, what shall we use it for?” Sha Lan asked curiously.

Sha Lan’s first thought was the Central Market. Placed in the Central Market, many people would definitely want it.

Everyone was quite familiar with honey. Unfortunately, the method of obtaining it was too difficult, and White Foot Six Legged Insects were truly too hard to find.

“Of course as Warriors’ supplementary supplies. Or hanging it at a high price in the Central Market works too. Whoever wants to exchange for them can do so.”

Su Bai shrugged, continuing. “Anyway, we have so many White Foot Six Legged Insects now. Honey isn’t a scarce resource for us. We can trade it out.”

His first thought was mainly the Warriors. After training all day, they were tired. Being able to drink some honey water to replenish their strength would do wonders.

“Giving it to Warriors to drink? Then they’ll definitely be very happy. No, ecstatically happy,” Yan Hua could foresee those people’s expressions.

Not many people in the entire Tribe had drunk honey. Warriors excluded, of course.

After all, they frequently went hunting and such. White Foot Six Legged Insects were very common in flower-abundant areas.

Sometimes, to replenish their strength, they would conveniently seek some honey to drink.

Eating a piece of honey was like being injected with stimulants, maintaining vitality for over an hour. For them, honey was undoubtedly the best natural stimulant, with no side effects.

“Yes. Doesn’t it replenish your strength? Just keep it for Warriors to drink after training,” Su Bai said softly.

“Shaman, there’s another problem. If we collect honey, we’ll definitely be attacked by White Foot Six Legged Insects. What should we do?”

Yan Hua, thinking about being stung, could not help shivering.

Even Warriors were like this. Although bleeding and sweating were acceptable, being stung by White Foot Six Legged Insects… Just thinking about it made one’s entire body numb.

White Foot Six Legged Insects’ six feet all had stingers. These stingers carried toxins. Though, it was not that potent.

Still one could not underestimate these toxins. Piercing into flesh would instantly make them feel extremely itchy, and some paralysing effect.

Although these sensations were not lethal, they would make the victim feel very uncomfortable.

This was also why people did not easily provoke these White Foot Six Legged Insects. Only those desperately wanting to replenish strength would take the risk.

“I’ve already thought of a countermeasure and had people prepare the equipment,” Su Bai’s lips curved upward.

He had long understood White Foot Six Legged Insects and the difficulties they posed. Countermeasures had been considered long ago.

“Really? So, the pain brought by White Foot Six Legged Insects can truly be avoided?”

Yan Hua’s red eyes instantly widened, continuing to ask. “Are we driving them away? But if driven away, they might not return.”

“I too can’t bear to drive them away. I also really like the taste of their honey. After all, we’ve spent too much effort to collect them here.” Su Bai smiled lightly.

“That’s good. But what does the Shaman plan to do?” Yan Hua asked curiously.

“When we arrive, you’ll know. I’ve already had Xiao Yu have people bring the items over,” Su Bai said mysteriously.

Yan Hua’s eyebrows raised slightly. She followed behind thoughtfully, anticipating seeing those mysterious items.

Over ten minutes later, everyone arrived at the garden outside the Tribe. The garden’s outermost area had rows of wooden boxes.

Occasionally, some White Foot Six Legged Insects could be seen crawling out. Waves of honey fragrance also wafted over.

Somehow, White Foot Six Legged Insects’ honey fragrance was very rich, even richer than honey back on Earth.

“Shaman, these are the items you requested,” several attendants arrived carrying multiple one-piece suits.

“Good.” Su Bai received those clothes, turned to pass them to Yan Hua, saying. “Come, try this on. Wear this and you won’t fear their stingers.”

The clothing in his hands imitated Earth’s bee-proof suits. It was a one-piece design, completely covering one’s head to toe. The head area had a hat, very much like a conical hat, used to support the facial veil outward.

The remaining areas used some Animal Hide, blocking areas clothing could not cover, preventing White Foot Six Legged Insects from finding gaps to sting.

In summary, identical to bee-proof suits, just with added Animal Hide.
