I Became The Chief Of A Primitive Village

Chapter 955, Like an Elder Sister

“I heard you returned riding a Ferocious Beast?” Su Bai walked towards the floor-to-ceiling windows, looking outwards.

Previously, he had instructed Co Co to return via hot air balloon, which would be both swift and comfortable. He had not anticipated she would ride a Ferocious Beast. He had never heard of her possessing one, particularly one that could fly.

“Yeah. Yu’re has accompanied me for quite some time, remaining by my side since childhood. Last time, without it, the Sea Insect Tribe would likely have captured me.” Co Co also walked towards the windows, discovering the Flying Rain Beast currently competing with Peak Eagle and Two Tailed Grey Wolf.

Its appearance was genuinely adorable. Several large Ferocious Beasts confronting each other in the plaza would terrify ordinary observers into fleeing.

“Yu’re? Is that your Ferocious Beast’s name?” [雨儿, rainy, huh?] Su Bai’s eyebrow raised slightly, continuously examining the creature.

This was a Ferocious Beast he had never encountered. Entirely black. Without those wings, one would genuinely mistake it for a large Chow Chow.

“Indeed. The name was given during its infancy.” Co Co smiled awkwardly.

The reason was simple. Yu Ying was also called Xiao Yu. This created a name collision.

Yu Ying appeared visibly stunned, blinking her pink eyes and asking. “It’s called Yu’er? That similar to my name?”

“Ha ha ha, indeed! If you object, we shall simply stop calling you Yu’er. Not like we often do.” Su Bai laughed heartily.

Yu Ying shook her head with a smile, saying happily. “It does not matter. It is merely a nickname. I find Yu’er quite cute.”

Yu Ying also stood at the windows observing Xiao Yu below, her smile becoming increasingly gentle.

“Xiao Yu seems somewhat different recently.” Co Co examined Yu Ying carefully.

Co Co clearly perceived changes in her. These differences were perceptible across multiple aspects.

Not only had her appearance changed, but her personality had also undergone significant transformation.

“Really? I do not feel any different.” Yu Ying curiously examined herself.

Yu Ying blinked her pink eyes innocently, observing herself in the mirror for quite some time.

“You are indeed somewhat different. You yourself have not noticed these changes.” Yan Hua immediately agreed.

Observers see more clearly. Yan Hua, being an outsider, observed more accurately.

“What they said is correct. Your changes are indeed something surprising.” Su Bai nodded lightly.

“Me?” Yu Ying continued examining herself in the mirror.

From top to bottom, left to right, even pulling up her pink hair to observe extensively. She also swung her pink fox tail back and forth, even grasping her fox ears for examination.

“Ha ha ha ha… Truly a silly fox. We are not discussing changes to your appearance, but your personality.” Su Bai laughed heartily.

Her appearance was genuinely adorable, making one irresistibly want to pet her.

“My personality has changed?” Yu Ying ceased grasping her fox ears.

Co Co smiled slightly, embracing her shoulders and saying: “Your change is mostly here.”

Co Co indicated her heart, appearing precisely like an Elder Sister.

“Correct. You may not know, but we do. I genuinely love how you are now.” Yan Hua also embraced her.

Yan Hua continuously nuzzled Yu Ying’s face. The sight was genuinely adorable.

Su Bai’s mouth twitched slightly. Honestly, observing this scene provoked some envy. He also wanted to approach and nuzzle Yu Ying’s face. Her delicate complexion appeared genuinely endearing.

“However, I do not see any differences. I still feel the same as before.” Yu Ying frowned slightly, experiencing the two girls’ embrace.

One side had someone embracing her shoulders, the other side had someone continuously nuzzling her face.

“Naturally, you cannot see these changes yourself. Have you forgotten what you were like in the past?” Sha Lan slowly rose from her chair, passing over half a peeled orange.

Yu Ying accepted the orange with both hands, murmuring. “Previously, I was the same as now.”

“What nonsense. Previously, you dared not even speak loudly. How could you possibly joke with us now?” Yan Hua opened her mouth accepting the Sha Lan’s offered food, saying indistinctly. “You have become a lot more cheerful, no longer as timid.”

Sha Lan also offered a segment of orange to the Shaman, saying gently: “Moreover, your cooking is genuinely delicious. Every ingredient becomes excellent in your hands.”

“I too recall when I was still at the Tribe, your personality was not as cheerful as now.” Co Co also ate an orange segment, continuing. “At that time, you barely dared speak with me. Now things are completely different.”

Co Co possessed the most authoritative perspective, having departed the Tribe for some time. Returning now and observing Yu Ying’s changes, she could most readily perceive the drastic changes compared to those who always stuck with her.

“Perhaps it is because of the Shaman. The Shaman is genuinely kind, treating me exceptionally well and with great tolerance.”

Yu Ying lowered her head shyly, her voice soft. “He has also continuously encouraged me gradually, enabling me to slowly open my heart…”

Yu Ying’s small face flushed intensely, her voice softly recounting her transformation.

“Precisely. Continue with this and become even more cheerful.” Yan Hua swept her hair back cheerfully, saying: “We all anticipate you creating even better meals, or perhaps you influencing others.”

“I… I shall try.” Yu Ying revealed a gentle smile.

Everyone joked about this matter briefly before proceeding to the main topic.

Summoning Co Co back naturally involved specific tasks. After allowing her some rest, they could start.

“Shaman, why have you summoned me back? Do you have research work?” Co Co could barely contain her anticipation.

During the journey, she had continuously anticipated what assignment she might receive. Her useful capability lay in research. Since the Shaman had written to summon her back, it must relate to research.

“Yeah. This time, I need your assistance, that’s why I summoned you back.” Su Bai extracted a drawing, passing it over: “First examine these drawings. Ask me about anything unclear.”

Co Co accepted the drawing with both hands, beginning careful examination.

Su Bai did not interrupt her, quietly waiting for her to finish.

Yan Hua and the others, having training matters, had already departed the Yong’an Building.

Yu Ying turned towards the kitchen to prepare some desserts, letting Co Co to sample them.

“This…” Co Co was startled by the drawing’s contents.

The drawing depicted currency designs. Each was exquisite. Su Bai had spent considerable time creating them.
