Chapter 501: Chapter 501: Eternal Mangekyo

Chapter 501: Eternal Mangekyo

Looking at the methods for making radiation detectors found in the nuclear physics materials, as well as the blueprints, required devices, and raw materials, Kenichi could not help falling into deep thought.

These things would not be easy to make.

Some of the required materials were not even available.

However, if he wanted to solve the problem of Black Zetsu, he had no choice but to create this item.

So, after thinking for a while, Kenichi began working on the object he intended to make.

The working principle of a radiation detector was to detect radiation by observing the reaction produced by an electric current in response to radioactive substances.

Kenichi was thinking along similar lines.

If radiation could cause a certain reaction in electric current, then conversely, could chakra also produce some kind of special reaction?

As long as he could find a specific reaction, Kenichi would be able to make this device.

However, what would chakra react to?

This question plunged Kenichi into deep thought as he pondered how to solve it.

It had to be said that solving this problem was not easy.

Some ideas flashed through Kenichi’s mind, such as explosive tags, or special metals that could contain chakra.

Kenichi knew that there were special metals in the Shinobi World capable of containing chakra.

Such metals could be used to make special weapons, like ninja blades.

For example, some of the weapons used by the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of Kirigakure had been made using this method.

However, some weapons were even more special, like Samehada.

This led Kenichi into contemplation.

He was considering whether it would be feasible to use these special metals to create the detection device.

Frankly, Kenichi did not have any better method.

Although the Wilson Cloud Chamber could detect the presence of chakra, it required chakra to be close to it for observation.

If the chakra user was at the foot of a mountain or underground, even a Wilson Cloud Chamber would be useless.

”Is this metal really feasible? Will this metal and electric current produce any special reaction? And how should I make a chakra detector?”

Kenichi scratched his head, feeling that the whole process was not easy.

But in order to detect where Black Zetsu and that guy named Jigen were hiding, Kenichi still had to find a way to overcome this problem.

Kenichi then embarked on a prolonged research and development process.

Throughout this process, Kenichi continuously experimented and failed.

He was searching for something that could create a special resonance with electric current, which would then allow him to detect chakra.

However, to Kenichi’s disappointment, the entire process was not smooth.

Detecting chakra was not the same as detecting radiation.

Detecting chakra required many more things to be made, and the cost was also extremely high.

After yet another failed attempt, Kenichi temporarily gave up on making such a device.

After all, considering the time, Kenichi felt it was almost time to check the progress of his clone.

Kenichi was now more eager to turn his own eyes into the Rinnegan.

Only by obtaining the Rinnegan could he grasp the power to change the world’s destiny.

Thinking of this, Kenichi went to the previous laboratory.

In this laboratory, he opened the iron plate and took a look.

The clone had grown almost completely.

Seeing this, Kenichi was very satisfied.

He then summoned both the clone and the experimental subject.

Kenichi began the process of developing the Mangekyo Sharingan in the clone.

Furthermore, to make this step smoother, Kenichi specifically used Sasuke’s genetic material to create the clone.

This would also minimize the possibility of Mangekyo transplantation failure in the clone.

After all, according to Kenichi’s conjecture, if one wanted to activate the Rinnegan, the genes of the Otsutsuki Clan were indispensable.

In other words, others could not activate it.

Only those who possessed the genes of the Otsutsuki Clan could activate the Rinnegan.

Kenichi felt that his idea this time should be correct.

As long as he could activate the Eternal Mangekyo, then activating the Rinnegan would probably not be far off.

Kenichi also had some ideas about how to activate the Rinnegan.

According to Kenichi’s own calculations, activating the Rinnegan required the Eternal Mangekyo, as well as the genes of the Otsutsuki Clan.

Just like Madara, who had finally activated the Rinnegan after biting into Hashirama’s flesh and blood.

”After I activated the Mangekyo in his clone, I began the process of transplanting the Mangekyo Sharingan into both the clone and the experimental subject.”

”The entire transplantation process was slightly smoother than the previous one, and I think this is probably related to Hashirama’s cells. After all, even a figure like Madara only finally activated the Rinnegan after obtaining Hashirama’s cells.”

”The Mangekyo Sharingan transplantation was very successful. The next step is to see whether the Eternal Mangekyo can be activated after successful transplantation.”

”Throughout the experiment, the experimental subject remained very calm, without the previous nervous overreaction. It seems that the success rate of this experiment is very high, but it still needs observation to confirm whether this is truly the case.”

Looking at the calm experimental subject before him, Kenichi admitted that he felt a certain excitement.

After all, this time, he had truly walked at the forefront of science.

As long as this could be resolved, Kenichi’s use of the Mangekyo would no longer have any problems.

At that time, Kenichi’s understanding of ninjutsu and various other things would also become clearer.

If it succeeded, it would prove that Kenichi’s idea was correct.

Then, after observation, he could decide whether to proceed to the next stage for the person who used the rapidly grown clone of himself.

At that time, Kenichi himself would directly obtain the Eternal Mangekyo.

Recently, as Kenichi had used the Mangekyo many times, his own eyes had developed some minor problems.

He had experienced the feeling of declining eyesight.

Therefore, Kenichi urgently needed to solve this problem now.

Otherwise, it would be awkward if he became blind.

Kenichi recalled the previous experiment.

At this stage back then, the experimental subject had already shown various abnormal conditions.

However, now, the experimental subject was very normal, with no apparent problems for the time being.

Kenichi felt somewhat expectant.

As long as it succeeded, that was all that mattered.

”As long as the clone succeeds, it proves that my idea is correct, and then the Eternal Mangekyo can be activated. After all, no one can be closer to one’s own bloodline.”

Kenichi rubbed his hands, a little excited.

Under Kenichi’s observation, the experimental subject showed no fluctuations.

Kenichi did not rush.

He patiently waited for the result.

After one day, the experimental subject’s eyes changed.

Kenichi then discovered that his theory was correct.

Only by getting closer to the Otsutsuki Clan’s genes and using the Mangekyo of someone with a close blood relation to oneself could the Eternal Mangekyo be activated.

This made Kenichi sigh with emotion.

He thought of how in the original story, Itachi had sacrificed a great deal to allow his younger brother to master the Eternal Mangekyo.

However, now, there was no need to sacrifice so much.

Simply through cloning, everyone could obtain the Eternal Mangekyo.

The only problem was whether Kenichi could control these little guys.

Kenichi did not want these individuals who had activated the Eternal Mangekyo to stab him in the back during battle.

So Kenichi conducted an experiment with this experimental subject.

After multiple experiments, Kenichi confirmed that even with the Eternal Mangekyo, the parasites in their brains could not be removed.

This made Kenichi breathe a sigh of relief.

However, regarding the Rinnegan, Kenichi still did not know whether this clone could activate it.

It had to be known that even Madara only activated the Rinnegan after a considerable period of time.

This proved that there was still a gap between the Eternal Mangekyo and the Rinnegan.

However, the exact duration of this gap was unknown.

”In that case, my army will be able to use the Eternal Mangekyo more recklessly.”

Kenichi was still very satisfied.

The only thing left to do now was to monitor whether this Eternal Mangekyo had any flaws when used on the clone.

Therefore, Kenichi did not rush to use his own clone.

Instead, he kept the experimental subject by his side.

Kenichi wanted to see whether the experimental subject’s eyes were normal.

According to Mr. Amado, the eyes of clones generally could only last for about a month before experiencing vision degradation.

As long as the eyes of these clones did not experience aging and blindness, Kenichi would then proceed with this experiment to obtain the Eternal Mangekyo for himself.

If he could obtain the Eternal Mangekyo, then activating the Rinnegan afterward would not be impossible.

Kenichi was very much looking forward to this.

With the Rinnegan, his strength would greatly improve.

Kenichi also wanted to see whether he would be more confident when facing Madara after obtaining the Rinnegan.

”Moreover, according to my deduction, as long as one possesses the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan and has the genes of the Otsutsuki Clan, then they will be able to activate the Rinnegan.”

Kenichi held his experimental log and wrote down his thoughts.

Currently, only Madara had activated the Rinnegan.

And in Kenichi’s view, the biggest factor behind Madara being able to activate the Rinnegan was that he had Hashirama’s flesh and blood on him.

This led to Madara being able to activate the Rinnegan.

But even so, a long time passed before Madara awakened the Rinnegan.

Kenichi felt that this was probably related to the degree of atavism of the Otsutsuki Clan genes in the body.

In other words, the more Otsutsuki Clan genes a person had, the shorter the time it would take for them to activate the Rinnegan.

Kenichi felt that this idea was very plausible, so he decided to experiment.

However, the only problem now was that he needed to wait for this experimental subject first and see whether there would be any problems with his Eternal Mangekyo.

If there were no problems, then he could begin his new experiment.

This was destined to be a rather tedious task, but Kenichi had no better way.

After all, conducting such experiments always consumed time.

”So, the Eternal Mangekyo experiment can be considered a success and can be brought to a close. Then, what I need to do next is...”

Kenichi thought of the chakra detector he had been working on previously, and his head began to ache.

To some extent, Kenichi was not very interested in making such a thing.

But if he did not, there would be no better way to detect Black Zetsu’s presence.

”I wonder what Madara is doing now?”

Kenichi stretched, then glanced outside the laboratory.

The Land of Flame was currently undergoing a slow development process, and Madara’s group was now the biggest unstable factor in the entire Shinobi World.

However, Madara had ultimately been distracted by another Otsutsuki now, which allowed Kenichi to relax a little.

Otherwise, if Madara kept pestering him every day, Kenichi would not have time for anything else.

He would spend his days dealing with Madara.

How would he conduct experiments then?

”Where in the world is that guy hiding?”

Black Zetsu was currently traveling through the soil, covered in dust.

He was meticulously searching the entire Shinobi World, trying to find that suspected Otsutsuki individual.

After all, compared to others, that guy was far more dangerous.

Madara was not his opponent.

Even if Madara regained his full strength, dealing with that guy would probably not be easy.

So Black Zetsu was very nervous now.

He had to find that guy.

Otherwise, it would be troublesome if the other party hindered his plan to unseal his mother.

However, Black Zetsu had been searching for most of the day and still had not found the guy named Jigen.

This made Black Zetsu even more nervous.

Where in the world was that damned Jigen hiding?
