Chapter 524: The Resurrected Kage

”I never thought that the current Shinobi World would be unified by a brat. This is truly...”

Kenichi looked at the Second Hokage, Tobirama.

He accepted reality very quickly.

After hearing Jiraiya and Tsunade’s explanation, he understood why the current situation had arisen.

However, when Tobirama looked at Kenichi, his expression was still a bit subtle.

He truly had not expected Kenichi to become the ruler of the Shinobi World.

Even his elder brother, Hashirama, who was known as the God of Shinobi, had not achieved what Kenichi had.

Kenichi shrugged when he saw Tobirama’s strange gaze.

He knew what Tobirama meant, but he did not care.

Sometimes, whether something could be done depended on the right time, place, and people.

In the era of the First Hokage, the idea of creating ninja villages had already been an excellent one.

Hashirama had not unified the entire Shinobi World because his vision had been limited.

If Hashirama had received an education like Kenichi’s from a young age, then there probably would not have been Five Great Nations in the Shinobi World.

Moreover, Hashirama was too limited.

He was a true native of the Shinobi World.

That meant that in his heart, he tacitly accepted the Daimyo as existences above ninja.

Therefore, even if Hashirama had wanted to unify the Shinobi World, there probably would not have been much change to the entire Shinobi World.

What was more, Hashirama had died not long after his battle with Madara, which was actually very strange.

The First Hokage’s cells were extremely active, and his vitality was incredibly strong.

He should not have died so early.

If Hashirama had lived to Hiruzen’s age, the Shinobi World would likely have been very different.

”Hahaha, not bad! But what about Konoha?”

Hashirama laughed heartily.

He was not too concerned about these issues.

He was only more interested in Konoha and his dear friend, Madara.

So Hashirama looked expectantly at Kenichi, hoping to get some answers from him.

”Konoha has now merged into the Land of Flame. The ninja of the various great clans have been dispersed by me and are now spread throughout the Shinobi World. As for Senior Madara, he seems to still be preparing to deal with Jigen.”

Kenichi explained to Hashirama.

Hashirama was willing to help, which greatly eased Kenichi’s burden.

With Hashirama’s help, Madara would no longer be so isolated.

And for Madara, Kenichi felt that only Hashirama could gain his approval and become his comrade, not a burden.

Hashirama nodded.

He had tried to find Madara in the Pure Land to talk, but he had not been able to find him.

No one else had seen him either.

Hashirama had no choice but to give up searching.

Now that he knew his friend’s whereabouts, Hashirama’s heart became a little complicated for a moment.

However, fighting alongside Madara again was something that had not happened in a very long time.

For a moment, Hashirama was a little dazed.

As for Jigen, Hashirama was not too concerned.

He just needed to go all out when the fight started.

”First Hokage-sama, Second Hokage-sama, please explain to the Kage of the other villages when they are revived through Edo Tensei later.”

Kenichi spoke to Hashirama and Tobirama.

It would be more effective if these two explained.

Although the Third Hokage had been in office for a long time, if one asked which of Konoha’s Hokage was the strongest and left the deepest impression on these original Kage, it was undoubtedly the First Hokage.

And although the Third Hokage had been called the strongest Hokage in Konoha at the time, those who knew, knew.

The Third Hokage was indeed not weak at the time.

At such an old age, he had still sealed the Edo Tensei First and Second Hokage, and also sealed Orochimaru’s arms.

It could be said that he had truly done his best.

However, as Kishimoto kept adding patches to the First Hokage and Madara, the Third Hokage’s title of ”strongest Hokage” became somewhat ironic.

The First and Second Hokage agreed.

Kenichi continued with his Edo Tensei, and soon, it was ready.

This time, Kenichi was reviving the past Mizukage of Kirigakure through Edo Tensei.

Though few of them were famous.

Kenichi only recognized the one who had appeared in the anime.

These Mizukage were initially very agitated and unwilling to cooperate.

They had learned from the Pure Land that Kirigakure had been annihilated by Kenichi, and now they wished they could skin Kenichi, eat his flesh, and drink his blood.

However, after Tobirama said a few words, these Mizukage fell silent.

Although there was still a hint of nonviolent noncooperation, at least their behavior became much more normal.

They were also willing to help Kenichi deal with Jigen.

Kenichi was a little curious about what Tobirama had said.

But since Tobirama did not tell him, he did not know.

Kenichi did not care too much.

The Sage of Six Paths had already said that helping Kenichi deal with Jigen was fine, but these souls could not be revived into the real world.

Although Kenichi did not know what that old Sage of Six Paths was plotting in the Pure Land, he knew that since the Sage of Six Paths had said so, it was best to follow his advice.

Otherwise, Kenichi did not want to have to deal with the Sage of Six Paths before even solving Jigen.

Next, Kenichi successively revived the Tsuchikage, Raikage, and Kazekage through Edo Tensei.

Among these Kage, the Tsuchikage and Raikage cooperated relatively quickly, but not as quickly as the Kazekage.

Kenichi thought it might be because he had already relocated the people of Sunagakure to other towns.

After all, the ninja of Sunagakure had always sought to move to a different place to live.

Now that this dream had finally come true, they were naturally willing to cooperate with Kenichi.

This greatly eased Kenichi’s burden.

Now that these Kage were mostly dealt with, the next step was to wait for Madara.

Kenichi considered whether to revive Kinkaku and Ginkaku in between, but those two were rather arrogant and had a grudge against Tobirama, so Kenichi gave up on that idea.

Anyway, these Kage were enough.

So many Kage, plus the overpowered Madara and Hashirama.

If they still could not deal with Jigen, that would be too ridiculous.

Especially since the Sage of Six Paths would also help.

”Kenichi, what are you doing?”

Hashirama walked over.

He had to.

Otherwise, some Kage were already eager to test Hashirama’s true strength and see whether his title as the God of Shinobi was an exaggeration or truly deserved.

This made Hashirama feel somewhat helpless.

He had only planned to come and see what Kenichi was doing.

Kenichi glanced at Hashirama after hearing him.

His face always carried a smile.

Kenichi mentioned that he was currently refining chakra.

As soon as he said it, a large group of people gathered around and began sharing their own methods and experiences of refining chakra.

”Eh? Good thing I’m an Edo Tensei body. My chakra is practically infinite.”

Hashirama laughed heartily.

Kenichi was stunned for a moment.

Right.

Edo Tensei bodies had nearly infinite chakra.

In that case, he would not have to group the ninja he was currently raising into batches of fifty.

This way, chakra could be refined twenty four hours a day.

Kenichi slapped his forehead.

He had not even thought of the infinite chakra of Edo Tensei bodies.

And he could control them, making them all lie inside the sealing barrier to have their chakra extracted.

It could even be extended to thirty days per change, which would save an enormous amount of time.

They were practically super workers that even capitalists would be tempted by.

Kenichi decided that after Madara left with these Kage, he would get some jonin to use as batteries.

At that time, his compression efficiency would probably improve further.

The faster his strength increased, the more convenient things would be in the future.

Kenichi now felt an urgent impulse to try it.

But considering that he was still working on something else, he gave up on that idea.

Instead, he sat in the laboratory, watching the Kage exchange ideas with each other.

Their ninjutsu were bizarre and varied.

Kenichi also learned more applications of Wood Release from Hashirama.

Now, Kenichi could easily reach Hashirama’s level when using Sage Art Wood Release, but Kenichi knew this was not his limit.

The chakra sleeping within him was Kenichi’s biggest trump card.

Once that chakra was condensed and refined enough, everything would be over.

However, looking at Jiraiya, Kenichi thought of something else.

Dealing with Jigen was very troublesome.

Although the Sage of Six Paths was helping, it was hard to say whether Jigen had any other trump cards.

So Kenichi decided to add another new weight to the scale against Jigen.

He wanted to completely bury Jigen in this world, and also make Jigen disappear completely so he would not become a new problem for Kenichi.

Thinking of this, Kenichi touched the scroll at his waist.

This scroll contained an atomic bomb.

Although the power of the atomic bomb was somewhat different from the hydrogen bomb Kenichi was currently making, once such a weapon exploded, it would be enough for Jigen to handle.

After all, the sudden explosion of an atomic bomb was enough to threaten Kage-level powerhouses.

If one did not know about it or prepare beforehand, serious injury was a very normal outcome.

Kenichi felt that such an arrangement was secure enough.

If the battle reached a stalemate or Jigen barely clung to life, he would directly drop the atomic bomb and treat Jigen to a taste of the new era’s nuclear explosion.

If that still could not resolve Jigen, then Kenichi would have no other choice but to silently activate his cheat and report Jigen for cheating.

After all, this lineup was already strong enough.

With the Sage of Six Paths backing them, Kenichi believed that Hashirama and Madara could quickly gain Six Paths Power, just like Naruto and Sasuke would in the future.

At that point, would dealing with Jigen not be as easy as flipping his hand?

So Kenichi was relatively calm.

”So many people? How did you convince them?”

Black Zetsu emerged at this moment, looking at Kenichi with a sinister smile.

Kenichi rolled his eyes at Black Zetsu.

This guy was like a lunatic, somewhat unfathomable.

However, Black Zetsu was also a partner now, so Kenichi did not say anything.

Instead, he looked at Black Zetsu and explained the current situation.

Though he did not mention the Sage of Six Paths.

After all, the Sage of Six Paths was still in the Pure Land.

If his ability to interfere with the real world was exposed, it would be a huge problem.

It was hard to say what Black Zetsu would think, and it would not be good if it affected Kenichi’s plan.

Moreover, Kenichi and Black Zetsu were already secretly plotting against each other and using each other.

There was no talk of mutual cooperation or such nonsense.

If it were Obito, Kenichi might have mentioned it.

If it were his teacher, it would not matter even if he said it.

But Black Zetsu?

No.

Black Zetsu truly could not be trusted.

”Hehehe, that’s good too.”

Black Zetsu was satisfied.

With so many powerful individuals, they would surely be able to deal with Jigen this time.

Thinking of this, Black Zetsu became somewhat impatient.

Jigen was too troublesome and dangerous.

However, Kenichi looked at Black Zetsu with a hint of sympathy.

This unlucky guy had no idea that his existence was already known to the Sage of Six Paths.

That old Sage of Six Paths probably knew more than Kenichi thought.

It had to be said that those who had lived long and become shrewd were all difficult to deal with.

And the Sage of Six Paths was foremost among them.

Kenichi even suspected that Black Zetsu’s plan had long been within the Sage of Six Paths’ control.

But the Sage of Six Paths pretended not to know and allowed things to develop.

The Sage of Six Paths was even more troublesome than Black Zetsu.

Of course, the most troublesome one now was Otsutsuki Isshiki.

That old guy had been hiding in the Shinobi World for so many years.

Kenichi was quite glad that Black Zetsu had dug him out.

Otherwise, Kenichi would not even know about Jigen’s existence.

”I will also provide support when the time comes. This time, we must kill Jigen.”

Kenichi spoke seriously.

In other matters, he might trick Black Zetsu.

But when it came to killing Otsutsuki Isshiki, Kenichi was absolutely serious.

That guy was too threatening.

Black Zetsu also nodded.

For a moment, Kenichi and Black Zetsu even felt a sense of camaraderie.

However, Kenichi knew that this cooperation was temporary.

The honeymoon period was brief.

He and Black Zetsu had irreconcilable differences, and one of them would die eventually.

The only difference was who would die first.

Kenichi thought it would be better if Black Zetsu died first.
