Chapter 522: The Sage of Six Paths: I Can’t Hold It Anymore, Old Six Is Here!

”A god?”

Jiraiya took a deep breath.

He really had not expected that after being revived through Edo Tensei, the opponent he might have to face would be a god.

Jiraiya could not help pursing his lips.

He did not need to breathe or drink water, but he still felt a little nervous.

Because this time, he was facing a god.

What was a god?

It was a powerful enemy of the same type as the Ancestor of Chakra.

And the opponent’s strength was extremely high. Otherwise, he could not have defeated Madara.

Did that mean he would be facing an opponent on the level of the Sage of Six Paths this time?

That thought was suffocating.

For the first time, Jiraiya felt a lack of confidence.

After all, even he would feel considerable pressure when facing a god.

Tsunade also fell silent.

Although she felt that what Kenichi said was somewhat absurd and purely speculative, the problem was that the opponent’s strength was undeniable.

Thinking of Madara, who was so powerful that he made people feel suffocated and hopeless, yet still could not win against this enemy, Tsunade felt immense pressure.

Could they really win?

No wonder Kenichi had brought out so many corpses of powerful individuals.

Without them, defeating the opponent would probably be an extremely difficult task.

Tsunade closed her eyes.

She had issues with Kenichi.

But the problem was that Kenichi was right.

This crisis was huge.

If it was not resolved, it would be very troublesome.

Extremely troublesome.

Super troublesome.

Now, the people of Konoha and the Land of Fire all lived in this new country.

If they, the dead, did not fight and work hard, then should those still alive experience the pain of separation and death again?

Thinking of this, Tsunade truly could not say no.

”Although it’s a god, the opponent shouldn’t be in a complete state. At the very least, his body certainly won’t be very healthy. Otherwise, he wouldn’t have needed to hide for so long.”

Kenichi was not too worried.

”So I think this battle is not without a chance of winning. There must be something wrong with the opponent’s body. In this battle, as long as we drag it out, the opponent is bound to lose.”

No matter what, this battle could at least make that Otsutsuki bleed a bit more, thereby affecting his final plan.

Kenichi did not think that an Otsutsuki’s body could fight recklessly without limits.

As long as a weakness was found, it was not impossible to defeat him.

Thinking of this, Kenichi’s mood improved.

He stretched.

Although the sudden appearance of the Otsutsuki Clan had made Kenichi’s mood somewhat bad, it was still better than them appearing after decades of hiding.

Kenichi still had a chance to deal with them now.

And the Jiraiya and Tsunade in front of him were the gifts Kenichi had prepared for Jigen.

No.

Not just Jiraiya and Tsunade.

Besides them, Kenichi had also prepared a large number of Kage-level powerhouses for the opponent.

If a team of this scale still could not take him down, then Kenichi would probably have to consider other methods.

But for now, what Kenichi had to do was compress the primordial chakra he had refined.

Only that chakra could allow Kenichi to master stronger power as quickly as possible.

Meanwhile, Jiraiya and Tsunade sat down and began discussing how to solve this problem.

Kenichi listened for a while, then did not interfere.

What he was doing now was very simple.

When the chakra was almost ready, he would refine and compress it.

The rest of the time would be used to create perfect Edo Tensei bodies.

He still had a large pile of bones to use for Edo Tensei.

As for the targets for this Edo Tensei, Kenichi had already decided.

”I... I’m... Edo Tensei? The Second Hokage’s ninjutsu?”

An old man slowly pushed open the coffin door.

Hiruzen walked out from inside.

He looked at his hands and quickly understood his current situation, followed by endless rage.

He knew there was one fool who was particularly skilled at using this ninjutsu, Edo Tensei.

And that person was his disciple.

That filial student, Orochimaru!

Hiruzen angrily looked forward.

Then he saw Kenichi sitting there adjusting bones, while Jiraiya and Tsunade, both revived through Edo Tensei, stood nearby.

This made Hiruzen pause.

Were Jiraiya and Tsunade also Edo Tensei?

Were they controlled by Kenichi?

This Amamiya Kenichi was truly despicable.

Even like this, he still desecrated the souls of the deceased.

This was unforgivable!

But before Hiruzen could react, Jiraiya walked over, pulled him aside with a complicated expression, then said a few words and explained the enemy Kenichi had mentioned they were going to deal with this time.

Hiruzen paused after hearing this.

He looked at Tsunade in surprise.

Tsunade’s eyes also carried the same seriousness, which proved that his two students had already believed Kenichi.

”You just believed it? Aren’t you worried he’s lying to you?”

Hiruzen looked at Kenichi.

He had died at Kenichi’s hands back then.

Although Kenichi’s attack target had not been everyone, Hiruzen had still resolutely sacrificed himself to protect the village and ensure that the fire of life continued.

But that did not mean Hiruzen had no hatred toward Kenichi.

Jiraiya gave a bitter smile.

Kenichi heard Hiruzen’s words, but he did not even lift his head.

Kenichi did not care about this matter.

The truth was the truth, and a lie was a lie.

Moreover, Kenichi had not reached the point where he needed to use this to deceive people.

Because...

”He doesn’t need to, sensei. The entire Shinobi World is his now. Why would he lie to us?”

Jiraiya looked at Hiruzen and spoke with a bitter smile.

Hiruzen paused.

He was right.

The entire Shinobi World now belonged to this little brat, Kenichi.

If it was not an enemy so powerful that the entire Shinobi World could not deal with him, then why would Kenichi use Edo Tensei to summon them?

Jiraiya had thought of this early on, which was why he believed Kenichi.

After all, when someone lied, they always had a motive.

But the problem was that the current Shinobi World was Kenichi’s to do with as he pleased.

Why would Kenichi lie to them?

There was no need.

That was why Jiraiya believed Kenichi.

And now, Hiruzen also understood.

He had been so consumed by anger before that he had not thought about it this way.

Now, Hiruzen understood.

He completely understood.

Thinking of this, Hiruzen sat down on the chair bitterly.

He looked at Kenichi, feeling somewhat unwilling.

But when he thought of Kenichi’s words, that phrase, ”I’d rather let the dead take risks than let the living die,” he did not know what to say.

Moreover, the survival of the Sarutobi Clan was now in Kenichi’s hands.

If he refused, what if Kenichi targeted the Sarutobi Clan?

What would he do then?

Hiruzen shook his head.

He truly had not expected that one day, he would have to cooperate with Kenichi.

This was simply insane.

And watching Kenichi perform Edo Tensei on the First Hokage and Second Hokage, Hiruzen sighed again.

So many Kage, plus Madara.

Could this lineup truly defeat a god?

Hiruzen did not know.

But he knew that this little brat Kenichi was actually doing this, which meant that the god was placing a lot of pressure on him.

This made Hiruzen feel a little pleased inside.

If he had not died, that pressure would have been his.

But now that he was dead, that pressure naturally fell on Kenichi.

This was what the leader of a country, the leader of a village, should bear.

Thinking of this, Hiruzen even felt a hint of schadenfreude in his heart.

The hatred he felt toward Kenichi for killing him also dissipated a little.

Humans were the animals most skilled at convincing themselves.

Especially Hiruzen, who had made many compromises for the village.

”Well then, Jiraiya-sensei, Lady Tsunade, Third Hokage, I’ll leave the explanation for the Second Hokage and First Hokage to you.”

Kenichi paused.

Then a strange expression appeared on his face.

He clapped his hands, then brought out two coffins.

The First Hokage and Second Hokage were inside.

At this moment, Kenichi also hurried out.

Tsunade and Jiraiya shrugged.

Tsunade was a bit excited, while the Third Hokage was a bit nervous.

He had led Konoha down a declining path.

Although Konoha was still the strongest in the Shinobi World, that claim of being the strongest was somewhat exaggerated and completely different from the eras of the First and Second Hokage.

Although they had talked things through in the Pure Land, the Third Hokage was still very nervous at the thought of meeting them in this world.

At this point, the coffins opened.

The First Hokage and Second Hokage both emerged.

Then Tsunade and the others went to greet them and began explaining why Kenichi had revived them through Edo Tensei this time.

”I never thought you would appear, Sage of Six Paths.”

Kenichi was currently standing in a hidden room.

This was his laboratory, but with a higher security level and no one to eavesdrop, so it was very safe.

However, looking at the Sage of Six Paths floating before him in a soul state, Kenichi’s eyes still held a hint of fanaticism.

He really wanted to study the Sage of Six Paths.

This was the Sage of Six Paths.

His Six Paths Mode, and even the fact that despite being in the Pure Land, he could still bestow Yin-Yang Release on Naruto and Sasuke, and even directly create a Six Paths Chibaku Tensei to seal his mother, Kaguya.

This power was truly amazing.

That was why Kenichi was so surprised when he heard the Sage of Six Paths’ telepathic message while he was still working on the First Hokage and Second Hokage’s bodies.

Moreover, Kenichi always felt that the Sage of Six Paths, this old fellow, might not be so simple.

His strength was very high.

Even in his soul state, Kenichi did not have absolute certainty that he could defeat the Sage of Six Paths before him.

Moreover, the Sage of Six Paths’ soul body state was also very interesting.

Kenichi was very curious about how the Sage of Six Paths’ soul body state had been preserved.

After all, the soul had basically been an unprovable existence in his previous life.

Scientists were still in a state of research regarding human consciousness, but the current mainstream view was that humans did not have souls.

After humans died, consciousness dissipated, and the entire world fell into silence.

All future things and all the good things in the world would have nothing more to do with that person.

That was a kind of eternal fear of extinction, which was also humanity’s most fundamental fear of death.

However, in the Shinobi World, things were not like that.

At least ninja had souls.

Ordinary people also had souls. Otherwise, Nagato would not have been able to revive so many people with the Outer Path: Samsara of Heavenly Life Technique.

But Kenichi always felt that there might be some differences between the souls of ordinary people and the souls of ninja.

”How can I sit still after hearing what you said, Amamiya Kenichi? But I really didn’t expect you to be able to deduce such a bold conclusion.”

The Sage of Six Paths looked at Kenichi with complex eyes.

He could sense some abnormalities in Kenichi’s body.

The power of their Otsutsuki Clan was accumulating in Kenichi’s cells.

As long as those cells were filled, Kenichi could become another Otsutsuki.

This guy was simply a madman, capable of reaching such a stage.

The Sage of Six Paths even felt that the current Kenichi might pose a greater future threat than his mother, Kaguya.

However, the biggest problem now was not this.

It was the Otsutsuki Clan member that Kenichi had mentioned.

”Sage of Six Paths, do you know the identity of that god?”

Kenichi looked at the Sage of Six Paths curiously.

Although he could follow the script, he really could not remember who Kaguya had pushed to the Divine Tree.

And after hearing Kenichi’s words, the Sage of Six Paths’ face also showed a complex expression.

His mother, Kaguya, had mentioned some things about what had happened back then, so the Sage of Six Paths knew.

But to the Sage of Six Paths, this matter had no value at all.

Because his mother had been very certain at the time that the other party was absolutely dead and could not still be alive.

After all, the fruit of the Divine Tree required the sacrifice of an Otsutsuki to mature, and what his mother had eaten was the mature fruit.

As a result, after the Sage of Six Paths sealed his mother, he never considered the possibility that the other party might still be alive.

”Of course I know... That guy is called Otsutsuki Isshiki. He is an existence like my mother. At that time, he should have died. My mother said so...”

The Sage of Six Paths took a deep breath, then spoke the other party’s name.

But there was still a hint of doubt in his eyes.

He could not quite understand how the other party had survived.

And how had he survived without being discovered by his mother or himself?

”But in reality, the other party is still alive. To be honest, I don’t think there’s anyone in this world who could so easily defeat Madara.”

Kenichi interrupted the Sage of Six Paths.

Otsutsuki Isshiki?

This must be the other party’s name.

But this name also made Kenichi think of something.
