Chapter 514: Yin Seal and Yang Seal? The Key to Opening Six Paths Mode

”You want to research the Gedo Statue?”

Black Zetsu sat beside Kenichi and asked.

Kenichi’s mouth twitched when he heard this.

He glanced at Black Zetsu beside him.

He had been planning to slowly analyze the Gedo Statue, but he had not expected Black Zetsu to show up and even come directly to him.

This gave Kenichi a headache.

What did Black Zetsu want by coming here?

Kenichi could not figure it out.

Earlier, Kenichi had thought Black Zetsu was here to deliver the bones of those powerhouses, since Kenichi had asked Black Zetsu to do that.

But now, Black Zetsu was just loitering around him.

He did not mention anything about bones at all. Instead, he only watched Kenichi research the Gedo Statue.

This made Kenichi momentarily unsure whether he should continue his research.

After all, who knew whether Black Zetsu would become wary of him because of this?

If Black Zetsu grew suspicious, that would be troublesome.

So, Kenichi temporarily stopped his research.

”Yes. I want to see how the Gedo Statue is constructed, then see if I can use it to glimpse some traces of the era when the Gedo Statue existed,” Kenichi said calmly.

Although he could not continue his research, he still had to string Black Zetsu along.

Otherwise, Black Zetsu would continue suspecting him.

That was quite troublesome.

But looking at the Gedo Statue, Kenichi’s eyes also became deep.

Before Black Zetsu found him, he had already been researching the Gedo Statue for some time.

A full six days.

During this period, aside from occasionally eating, resting, and handling the official duties of the Land of Flame, Kenichi had been busy researching the existence of the Gedo Statue, trying to discover something from it.

Kenichi then found that the Gedo Statue was indeed somewhat special.

The Gedo Statue’s body had a large number of hollow spaces.

These gaps formed vein-like structures, dense and occupying a large volume.

Kenichi suspected these hollow spaces were used to contain the Tailed Beasts’ chakra.

After all, the Gedo Statue needed to have all the Tailed Beasts, from the One-Tail Shukaku to the Nine-Tails Kurama, sealed inside it to restore it to the Ten-Tails.

At that point, it would only be a few steps away from the Divine Tree.

Therefore, these vein-like structures might be used for storing Tailed Beast chakra.

However, thinking of this, Kenichi suddenly had an idea.

If he circulated chakra according to these pathways within the Gedo Statue’s body, then stored this chakra and purified it to improve both its quality and quantity, could Kenichi achieve Six Paths Mode?

The chakra circulation of the Ten-Tails and the Divine Tree should have some similarities, right?

Would Six Paths Mode, upon successful cultivation, also change the way chakra circulated?

As for how to store chakra, Kenichi had already thought of a solution.

He would try the Yin Seal.

However, after trying it, Kenichi found that it did not quite suit his current physical condition.

The Yin Seal was more geared toward female practitioners.

Its cultivation would cause an imbalance in the proportions of Yin Release and Yang Release in the body.

Therefore, males should learn a modified Yang Seal instead.

However, Kenichi then thought of another problem.

If he mastered the Yin and Yang Seals, would that mean he had mastered Yin-Yang Release Mode?

The more Kenichi thought about it, the more he felt this was possible.

It was just that for the Yin Seal, there was Tsunade’s version to learn from.

But for the Yang Seal, no one had really researched it.

So Kenichi temporarily did not consider that aspect.

He had originally planned to try it, but then Black Zetsu arrived, which caused Kenichi’s idea of researching the Yang Seal to fail.

However, Kenichi was not discouraged.

He had plenty of time to take it slowly.

Black Zetsu could not stay with him forever, right?

As long as Black Zetsu left, Kenichi could continue his research.

Moreover, Black Zetsu had not finished collecting all the strong individuals’ bones yet, so he did not have to deal with Jigen for now.

”I got the bones of two guys. These two were once members of Kumogakure, and their strength was quite good. One is named Kinkaku, and the other is Ginkaku. Do you want to use them for Edo Tensei?”

Black Zetsu did not waste words.

He did not think Kenichi could research anything.

After all, the Gedo Statue did not possess any special properties until all the Tailed Beasts were collected.

If there was anything special about it, it was that it was extremely hard and quite powerful, but each use consumed a large amount of chakra.

Even someone with a vast chakra reserve like Nagato had almost been drained dry after using the Gedo Statue once.

Unless one was a Jinchuriki, it was basically impossible to sustain the consumption of the Tailed Beasts.

So, Black Zetsu directly got to the point.

He had come to Kenichi this time because he had unexpectedly collected the bones of Kinkaku and Ginkaku while gathering bones outside.

So he came to Kenichi to see if Kenichi wanted the bones of these two.

”Kinkaku and Ginkaku? I have some impression. Weren’t they the ones who killed the Second Hokage, Tobirama?”

Kenichi was momentarily stunned.

He did not show much interest, but he still mentioned it.

He did know Kinkaku and Ginkaku.

But the only notable achievement of these two was killing the Second Hokage.

However, that was just the Second Hokage.

Although Tobirama was also from the Senju Clan, he was vastly different from his brother, Hashirama.

Kenichi had been quite interested in Kinkaku and Ginkaku before, as these two also had the Sage of Six Paths’ bloodline, making it possible to research the Sage of Six Paths’ genes.

But now, Kenichi had no interest.

Because Edo Tensei bodies could not have their genes extracted, which meant they could not be used for genetic research.

The genes extracted from Edo Tensei bodies belonged to the sacrificial victim, which greatly reduced the usefulness of Edo Tensei in genetic research.

However, after thinking about it, Kenichi decided to use Edo Tensei on them anyway.

Although these two did not have any special uses, Kenichi remembered that they had once used some special weapons.

Those weapons seemed to have considerable power, and he did not remember whether they had been preserved.

If they were still around, they might still be useful.

So Kenichi still took the bones of Kinkaku and Ginkaku from Black Zetsu.

Immediately after, Kenichi put these bones away.

He was currently at the former Akatsuki headquarters, where there were no ninja to use as sacrifices, so he could not perform Edo Tensei for now.

Black Zetsu left after handing over the corpses of the previous Mizukage from Kirigakure.

He still needed to find the corpses of the Kage from other ninja villages.

Kenichi chuckled as he saw Black Zetsu off, then immediately turned to begin researching the Yang Seal.

”If I modify the Yin Seal, I wonder if it’s feasible?”

Kenichi sat in his chair, flipping through the scrolls he had found in Konoha.

They detailed the unique ninjutsu known as the Yin Seal, along with records of the Strength of a Hundred Seal.

However, Kenichi was most interested in the Yin Seal.

This ninjutsu was very special.

It involved storing everyday chakra, and when released, it could unleash extremely powerful chakra.

Later, Sakura also entered the level of the Three Sannin relying on this ninjutsu.

But her companions Naruto and Sasuke were already beyond the level of the Three Sannin.

They were just forcibly grouped with Sakura as the New Three Sannin.

But was the Yin Seal weak?

Actually, it was not.

Who was Tsunade?

One of Konoha’s Three Sannin.

The Fifth Hokage.

Incredibly powerful.

It could be said that ordinary ninja were truly no match for Tsunade.

So, for Sakura to become one of the New Three Sannin with this ninjutsu, in earlier times, it could indeed be said to be very strong and impressive.

It was just a pity that Sakura encountered two characters who were basically cheating.

If there had not been the later Boruto: Naruto Next Generations, the Shinobi World would have been overshadowed by Naruto and Sasuke’s prowess for a long time.

This was also the key reason why Kishimoto had to introduce a new version.

However, the Yin Seal ninjutsu still looked quite unique.

Kenichi was not sure whether he could create a new ninjutsu, a Yang Seal.

But Kenichi decided to try.

He felt that the Yin Seal’s structure involved purifying excess chakra, making its purity exceptionally high, and then storing it.

When released, this highly pure chakra could be converted into combat power, also demonstrating the seemingly endless nature of chakra.

Kenichi believed this was roughly the general model of the Yin Seal.

However, Tsunade’s Yin Seal was clearly more special, even possessing cosmetic effects.

Kenichi began attempting to purify and compress chakra, but this step was not particularly smooth.

Looking at Tsunade’s notes, Kenichi frowned slightly.

Tsunade’s mastery of the Yin Seal had also required great effort.

Kenichi was quite interested in the Yin Seal.

Tsunade’s insights on the Yin Seal gave Kenichi some new ideas.

A glowing droplet condensed at his fingertip.

The droplet was slowly depleting.

Kenichi looked at this droplet.

It was a droplet of liquefied chakra that Kenichi had condensed.

”It can be compressed further.”

Kenichi looked at the droplet in his hand.

This amount was not enough.

Such a large droplet simply could not reach the level of the Yin Seal.

Moreover, combining it with Tsunade’s words, it was not difficult to see that to achieve the desired effect with the Yin Seal, a more refined and sufficiently tiny chakra was needed.

The Mangekyo Sharingan in Kenichi’s eyes rotated slightly.

He saw a cell on his finger.

Immediately after, Kenichi began to condense and compress chakra.

Massive chakra energy was continuously compressed into the cell, but then the cell was destroyed.

Kenichi frowned slightly.

This did not work either?

He tried to slow down and found that by doing so, chakra could indeed be slowly absorbed into the cell, but the speed was extremely slow.

However, according to Tsunade, this was almost the only way to achieve the Yin Seal.

And this chakra could not be used before the Yin Seal was officially completed.

Otherwise, all the effort would be wasted.

Kenichi pondered.

The essence of the Yin Seal was to condense the excess subtle chakra from everyday life into cells, thereby allowing a large amount of previously stored chakra to be obtained from these cells later, achieving a boost in combat power.

The effect was naturally there.

But it was not the kind Kenichi wanted.

And compressing it into cells was the solution proposed by the Yin Seal.

Was there no other way?

Kenichi felt a little confused.

”So, if I want to research a Yang Seal, how should I do it?”

Kenichi pondered.

If he wanted to create a Yang Seal, then it probably would not require storage.

However, Kenichi immediately thought of a possibility.

If the Yin Seal was about storing chakra in specific cells of the body and accumulating a certain number of cells, then what if Kenichi stored chakra in every cell throughout his entire body?

What would happen then?

Thinking of this, Kenichi felt a little eager to try.

But the risk was also very high.

After all, if all the cells in his body died at the same time, Kenichi would probably become the most pathetic transmigrator to ever die.

Kenichi did not want such an embarrassing thing to happen.

But the problem was that if he wanted to experiment, he had to try.

This was very tricky.

After thinking for a while, Kenichi decided to go back and create some clones, then cultivate them to obtain the Izanagi dojutsu.

That way, he could freely conduct research.

The unique Izanagi dojutsu could alter the outcome of death.

So even if Kenichi encountered problems during his experiments, he would be fine, thus ensuring his safety.

Moreover, Kenichi always felt that if he truly reached this point, he might directly undergo a very significant transformation.

After all, having Yin Seal-level chakra reserves in all the cells throughout his body was simply...

At that time, Kenichi himself would be a human Tailed Beast.

His chakra might even be able to overwhelm Kurama.

Could he then master Six Paths Mode?

But Kenichi quickly thought of a problem.

Since he was experimenting anyway, why not directly store the Six Paths chakra he envisioned?

That kind of chakra could be used with any chakra nature, which would also increase the power of this ninjutsu to a greater extent.

After all, storing chakra in all cells throughout the body was not a simple matter.

This meant that what Kenichi needed to do now was find the critical point between different chakra nature transformations.
