Chapter 512: Nagato: It’s All Thanks to You That I Can Get Married, Kenichi!

Kenichi stroked his chin.

Although he had not personally observed Nagato and Konan’s situation just now, he still could not help feeling a little curious.

So Kenichi had the parasites inform him of the news.

Of course, Kenichi had not placed parasites inside Nagato or Konan’s bodies.

After all, Nagato and Konan were considered Kenichi’s partners, so Kenichi naturally would not do that.

Instead, he chose to use the ninja in the restaurant who had already been implanted with parasites.

Now, Kenichi knew the outcome.

But he was not very surprised by it.

After all, Nagato and Konan had grown up together since childhood and had such a long standing bond.

Kenichi would have found it strange if Nagato and Konan had not ended up together.

However, seeing Nagato and Konan confess to each other, Kenichi still could not help showing a slight smile.

”These two guys have finally achieved a positive outcome. In that case, Nagato should cherish his body even more in the future. However, Nagato’s Rinnegan is also a problem. If this problem isn’t resolved, then Madara will probably come knocking on Nagato’s door in the future.”

Kenichi mused.

Nagato’s Rinnegan was a huge trouble.

Especially for Kenichi.

He could imagine that even with the help of the Edo Tensei Kage, Madara would definitely want to take Nagato’s Rinnegan to restore his strength to its peak before attacking Jigen.

That would be in line with Madara’s habits.

Madara was someone who, even when facing Might Guy’s Eight Gates, still harbored the thought of wanting to see the opponent’s limit.

Such a person had his own stubbornness.

When facing Jigen, who knew what Madara would think?

But Kenichi was certain that Madara would absolutely not be content to deal with Jigen in his normal state.

Therefore, Kenichi felt that instead of waiting for Madara to come knocking and fight Nagato, it would be better for him to take out Nagato’s Rinnegan first.

This thing was not good for Nagato anyway.

After all, the Rinnegan had made Nagato emaciated.

Although it would not be a big problem if Nagato did not use the Rinnegan, Nagato’s current utilization of the Rinnegan was indeed not as high as Madara’s.

Kenichi felt it was very necessary to prepare for both possibilities.

On one hand, if Madara truly wanted to retrieve the Rinnegan, Kenichi could perform a transplant on Nagato, remove Nagato’s Rinnegan, activate an Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan for him, and then use Nagato’s body to try cultivating a Rinnegan.

This would also serve as a control experiment.

On the other hand, if Madara did not plan to retrieve Nagato’s Rinnegan, then there would be no need to worry for now.

Other experimental subjects could be used for experiments.

However, Kenichi thought this possibility was relatively small.

After all, Madara, facing Jigen who could suppress him, would definitely be very unwilling and full of fighting spirit.

This type of pure ninja was the most troublesome and difficult to deal with.

Just look at Tsunade and Jiraiya.

They clearly knew they would die, and Kenichi had given them a chance to survive, but they still resolutely chose death.

Facing such people, Kenichi himself did not have many good solutions.

So even if Madara knew that retrieving the Rinnegan might not guarantee victory, and that if he died this time, the Rinnegan might not be recovered again, Madara would still try.

Therefore, Kenichi felt it was better to prepare in advance.

Thinking of this, Kenichi walked out.

He was going to find Nagato and extract a tube of blood from him.

With Nagato’s blood, cloning could be carried out, and then Nagato’s clones could be cultivated.

However, before that, Kenichi might also need to program Nagato’s genes once, first making Nagato’s genes similar to those of the Uchiha Clan.

”However, this seems to lead to another problem. Nagato is from the Uzumaki Clan, and his genes are different from normal people. If gene programming is performed, will Nagato’s genes have issues? If issues arise, how should they be handled?”

Kenichi scratched his head.

Gene programming for Nagato was not complicated.

The main difficulty lay in the success rate of the gene programming.

Nagato’s background was not clear, but he had been chosen by Madara as the Rinnegan’s vessel precisely because of his massive chakra.

He was basically from the Uzumaki Clan.

If gene programming was performed, could the Uchiha Clan’s genes coexist with the Uzumaki Clan’s genes?

This question made Kenichi a bit curious.

But currently, Kenichi did not know whether his idea was feasible.

So he planned to first take blood from Nagato, create a clone, and then experiment with the clone.

If there were no problems, he would then apply it to Nagato’s body.

Then he would not have to worry about any issues with Nagato’s body.

When Kenichi found Nagato, Nagato was sitting on a park bench, grinning foolishly.

This made Kenichi a little exasperated.

Had Nagato gone silly?

However, thinking about what Nagato and Konan had done, Kenichi was not too surprised.

After all, if it were him, he would probably also grin foolishly for a while.

Kenichi coughed, then walked over and sat down beside Nagato.

Nagato looked at Kenichi, a lovesick smile still on his face.

Kenichi’s mouth twitched.

Was this the smile of someone in a relationship?

However, looking at Nagato’s emaciated appearance, Kenichi felt that even if Nagato was a little happier, he would not have any thoughts about it.

After all, Nagato had indeed suffered too much.

Looking at Nagato’s silly grin, Kenichi also showed a slight smile.

He patted Nagato’s shoulder.

Nagato looked at Kenichi in confusion.

Kenichi was a little exasperated.

This Nagato really was...

”Nagato, I need a little of your blood for an experiment,” Kenichi said without hesitation.

Nagato nodded when he heard this, then extended his hand.

Kenichi directly took a little blood from Nagato’s body.

This amount was sufficient.

Throughout the entire process, Nagato’s face carried that lovesick smile, which made Kenichi’s fists clench.

However, looking at the blood in his hand, Kenichi’s face also showed a thoughtful expression.

He was wondering what kind of genes a person like Nagato had in his body.

And since Nagato had obtained the Rinnegan, would Nagato’s body be affected by this, leading to any genetic mutations?

Normally, it would not.

But the problem was that this was the Rinnegan, the special eyes of the Otsutsuki Clan.

The Otsutsuki and humans were not the same species, so it was hard to say whether the Otsutsuki Clan’s eyes would affect human genes.

If they did, then the Otsutsuki Clan’s genes were too overbearing, just like Hashirama’s cells.

Hashirama’s cells possessed extremely strong invasiveness.

To some extent, Hashirama’s cells were a kind of atypical cancer cell, even more fatal than ordinary cancer cells.

After all, ordinary cancer cells only wreaked havoc within the body.

If exposed to the outside, any common bacteria could easily defeat them.

But Hashirama’s cells were different.

Hashirama’s cells were too strong.

Suffocatingly strong.

Incomprehensibly strong.

At the very least, Kenichi himself had conducted experiments for so long, but he had never seen cells with such strong vitality as Hashirama’s cells.

Only the guy now renamed Uchiha Kagami and hidden by Black Zetsu had a somewhat special body.

However, Uchiha Kagami’s body was rather peculiar.

His body seemed to have no rejection reaction to other people’s organs.

Kenichi planned to talk to Black Zetsu the next time he saw him and ask for Uchiha Kagami.

Uchiha Kagami’s powerful ability was very valuable for research.

Kenichi planned to use Uchiha Kagami as an organ production factory.

After all, Uchiha Kagami’s organs had no rejection reaction to others.

He would then create several clones of Uchiha Kagami and find a way to give Uchiha Kagami extremely strong regenerative abilities.

Then Uchiha Kagami would become an organ processing and production factory, capable of continuously producing the organs needed by the people of the Shinobi World.

At that time, Uchiha Kagami would truly be a living Buddha, the kind worth having a longevity tablet erected for him.

”When do you and Konan plan to get married? You two are about that age, aren’t you?”

Kenichi asked Nagato, casually putting away the blood in his hand.

The amount of blood was enough for Kenichi to conduct experiments.

Upon hearing Kenichi’s words, Nagato’s face instantly turned red.

He awkwardly rubbed his hands, then looked at Kenichi somewhat shyly while scratching his face.

Kenichi’s mouth twitched.

He regretted it.

He suddenly regretted helping Nagato bring up this issue.

If he had not, Kenichi might have been able to watch the show.

Now the show was over, and he had to watch Nagato become a happy guy in love.

It was unbelievable.

Was he playing some kind of relationship raising game?

Kenichi sighed.

These days were too difficult.

”This... wouldn’t it be a bit too early?”

Nagato asked Kenichi.

Kenichi shrugged when he heard this.

He did not think it was too early.

It was important to remember that people in the Shinobi World generally matured earlier, as the average lifespan in this world was not very long.

So it was common for people to become grandparents in their forties.

Living to Hiruzen’s age was even considered a joyous occasion.

Therefore, there was nothing strange about Nagato and Konan getting married at their age.

In fact, it was quite normal.

Moreover, commoners in this world tended to marry even earlier.

”No, not at all. You’re both already this age. In other places, people your age probably already have children,” Kenichi said with a chuckle.

Nagato was simply overthinking things.

And frankly, it would not be strange for Nagato and Konan to get married now.

However, looking at Nagato’s shy expression, Kenichi suddenly recalled that in the original story, Sasuke witnessed the Uchiha Clan massacre and then vowed to kill Itachi.

Later, he even thought about revitalizing the Uchiha Clan.

But Sasuke’s method of revitalization was not very effective.

Normally, to revitalize the Uchiha Clan, population was the most fundamental aspect.

This meant that if Sasuke wanted to revitalize the Uchiha Clan, the most important thing he should do was have more children.

Otherwise, with just Sasuke alone, how could he revitalize the Uchiha Clan?

Therefore, Sasuke should have been a playboy, leaving romantic entanglements everywhere.

That would have been the correct way to revitalize the Uchiha Clan.

But unfortunately, Sasuke did not think of this aspect.

He was still diligently trying to exact revenge.

And even after the Shinobi World achieved peace, he did not seem to have any intention of having more children.

When Kenichi used to browse Zhihu, he most enjoyed reading about Sasuke and Sakura’s relationship.

He found it very interesting to see fans arguing fiercely.

And from the looks of it, Sasuke seemed to have only had one child with Sakura.

He wondered what Sasuke would do now, as his life was quite fulfilling, with no major setbacks.

The only trouble was that his father had died once but was now revived, so he should not have any regrets.

However, Sakura’s whereabouts were currently unknown, and Kenichi was quite curious about who Sasuke would end up with in the future.

”To be honest, Kenichi, I never thought about marriage and having children before. Now... I’m glad you helped me get here.”

Nagato spoke with emotion.

Kenichi’s mouth twitched.

The way he said it still sounded strange.

But Kenichi did not say anything.

Although he had not experienced a wandering life like Nagato, he knew how difficult it was for three young children to survive in the Shinobi World.

So Kenichi could understand Nagato’s current excitement.

However, looking at Nagato, Kenichi still smiled and encouraged him to pursue his happiness as soon as possible.

After leaving, Kenichi walked toward the laboratory with Nagato’s fresh blood.

He looked at the pedestrians passing by on the street and the vendors calling out, and he had to admit that the current Shinobi World was indeed different from before.

And all these changes had been brought about by him.

Thinking of this, a smile appeared on Kenichi’s face.

As long as Jigen was dealt with, Kenichi would have enough time to develop his technological weapons.

Then, when the Otsutsuki Clan realized something was wrong and came knocking, the situation would be different.

Therefore, no matter what, Jigen had to die.

Kenichi needed Jigen to die in exchange for enough time.

At that time, he would also send off Black Zetsu and Madara.

Those two also could not be kept.

Black Zetsu, however, could become excellent experimental material.
