Arceus's Pirate Journey

Chapter 1134: Chapter 1119: Sky Plate, Authority of the Sky

”Indeed, all claims about the hardest armor are lies; this is the power hidden within the stone.”

Since leaving Ghost Island, Kuzan’s worldview has been continuously challenged. The Wailord transport ship was one thing; it was just a powerful biological creature, and inside the stomach of a Sea King Type, there could be islands with complete ecosystems.

The research on Blazing Angels was also not very surprising, although shocking due to the power contained within those child-like creatures, he had heard some rumors about it.

It merely brought a bit of technological shock—replicated abilities, clone humans—a bit far-fetched but ultimately acceptable.

A scientist five hundred years ahead of the world; that series of titles was not a joke.

But compared to Shaina’s bodily transformation, these things seem insignificant. With the flap of her wings, a terrifying wind-eye formed high in the air.

Due to the previous battles, Aeghede was littered with broken structures, and now these shattered objects are being swept into the sky by the force of the wind.

If it weren’t for knowing Shaina’s abilities, Kuzan might well believe she was a Logia-type: Wind-Wind Fruit ability user.

The seemingly ordinary stone, when integrated into the body, could unleash such terrifying power; this was the greatest shock.

The Hundred Beasts’ outward reasoning was that Kaidou aimed to craft an indestructible set of armor; at least up till now, he has not changed his claim.

The hardness of the Plate is extraordinarily exaggerated; even the World Government has not found a method to destroy it over an extended period.

Creating armor from this stone indeed has miraculous effects, but mere hardness does not compare to the current display of power.

It’s not that the Plate is meaningless; outsiders simply don’t know the correct way to use it—this is Kuzan’s thought at the moment.

[If one such fragment has this fearsome power, just how many does the Hundred Beasts possess?]

Thinking carefully, the Hundred Beasts have been searching for these things for a long time, even paying a huge price for them. Previously, some thought Kaidou went mad to seek such items deemed useless except for their hardness.

Yet the present reality tells Kuzan that the Hundred Beasts were simply ahead of an era, having discovered the use of these items long ago.

Even the Navy, for the sake of Seastone, had conducted similar transactions, actively delivering these destructive weapons into the enemy’s hands.

As the person involved, Shaina’s feelings were more evident. Since her birth, she had never felt such immense power. The energy within her surged continuously; abundant energy centered around her wings, incessantly flowing into her limbs.

Elegant sparkles constantly cascaded from her wings, appearing like a celestial waterfall from below—it’s none other than the excess energy from the Plate.

The Icicle Plate could temporarily form the core inside Regice because Regice and similar ”columns” are special Pokemon; their bodies differ from humans, perfectly accommodating this power.

But Shaina is different; the Lunarians’ bodies also cannot contain all the power of a singular Plate.

Centuries ago, that clan leader obtained the power of the Flame Plate, a power that rendered him strong while constantly pushing his bodily limits.

The situation now differs—with Arceus’ power restored, he can more meticulously control his Plates.

The power within the Plate was always kept within Shaina’s tolerance limit, and the part exceeding her body’s endurance was released into the sky via her wings, ultimately forming a beautiful yet deadly brilliance.

”Is this the power of the sky?”

Shaina looked up at the sky, viewing the airflow clear as day. With just a gesture, the clouds were shaped according to her will.

The sixteenth—Sky Plate, representing attribute—Flight.

The most memorable aspect of the Sky Plate was the home door bird, or waiting in the forest for twenty years until its owner was dismissed from protagonist status and finally saw his Pidgeot.

But the Sky Plate represents more than flight and the home door bird; it is the force of the sky.

Flight is merely an exterior; beyond this, the power of the sky is fundamental.

Airflow creates wind, the interchange of hot and cold air alters the weather; wind and meteorology are the powers brought by the Sky Plate.

S-Bear’s ability repelled Aeghede’s upper section, leaving marks in the sky after being repelled by the Paw-Paw Fruit’s power. Following the airflow changes, Shaina realized where Vegapunk had gone.

”Those things aren’t as hard to deal with; when the fire is extinguished, their defense power significantly declines—that’s the chance, eliminate those eyesores, and you all return early. See you on Ghost Island.”

Since the power of Blazing Angels derived from Lunarians, their weakness was also apparent.

The Lunarians’ exaggerated defense power is the most challenging aspect of the Blazing Angels.

After leaving this instruction, Shaina had no intent to continue entanglement here, instead soaring with new wings towards a distant pursuit.

Kizaru attempted to halt Shaina’s pace, yet after Zeraora returned, his actions weren’t as seamless as before.

After the most favorable speed was equaled, the threat Kizaru posed diminished by a level.

”Move aside.”

”Regrettably, I can’t, she’s really angry right now, you’d better stay here and fight with us.”

Within a few minutes, roles swapped positions—the Kizaru who was tangling with Shaina, preventing her departure, was now completely ensnared by Zeraora.

Boom!

The sky darkened at this moment; faced with dealing with Blazing Angels first then chasing Vegapunk, or directly chasing Vegapunk, she opted for the latter.

Blazing Angels were merely creations; if the creator isn’t eradicated, countless similar appalling things might appear in the future.

Confidently leaving it to Zeraora, without Blue Flame Mode or special skills, Blazing Angels attempting to confront Zeraora would have to abandon defense mode; otherwise, they could hardly catch Zeraora, not even assist.

Once they forsake defense mode, Zeraora surely could seize that opportunity—this was Shaina’s trust, and before departing, she crafted a home-field for Zeraora.

Overwhelming thunderous clouds were Shaina’s handiwork; under a sky of thunder-light, this has become the prime venue for Zeraora’s combat.

”It really helped a lot.”

Boom!

Under Zeraora’s direction, all-encompassing lightning concentrated on his body; engulfed in thunder-light, every strand of fur on him brimmed with electricity; the dazzling Thunderbolt Spear had already coalesced in his hand.

Glasses alleviated the blinding light of electricity; Kizaru refrained from saying anything more like ”terrifying,” instead consolidating the most radiant shine until now in battle...
