Arceus's Pirate Journey

Chapter 1131: Chapter 1116: Whirlpool of Hatred

”Really? Then you’re of no use.”

Just as Shaina was about to exert her force with her fingers, a chill came from behind her. The Blazing Angels recovered astonishingly quickly, and now S-Hawk was directly attacking Shaina.

His weapon had just been flung away by Shaina, and now S-Hawk was using his arms as weapons. His fingers slightly bent, and beneath them, sharp blades had formed.

Five ferocious slashes swung towards Shaina’s back. Instead of turning around, Shaina used Sentomaru as a weapon, directly grabbing his neck and throwing him towards S-Hawk behind her.

If it were truly Hawkeye, in such a situation he would definitely make a more sensible choice, but S-Hawk is ultimately a technological creation, continually bound by programming, susceptible to many factors disrupting its combat.

For example, someone with higher authority levels can override commands given by someone with lower authority levels. Similarly, if a higher authority level person issues a command earlier, a lower level person cannot control the Blazing Angels.

Beyond this, one cannot override commands issued by someone of equal authority level.

Aside from the Five Elders and Vegapunk and his avatars, Sentomaru is the highest-ranking person, even if an Admiral holds the authority chip, Sentomaru has a higher authority.

As the third-ranked manager, Sentomaru inherently has certain privileges; for the Blazing Angels, protecting him is more important.

Seeing the imminent mistake in hurting Sentomaru, S-Hawk promptly retracts his hand, at the expense of being knocked down by Sentomaru’s massive body.

”Cough cough... What are you pirates trying to do? Want to kill Vegapunk? His technology is unique, killing him would be a huge loss to all of humanity!

He’s just focused on research every day, since when has he offended you?”

”Offended? That was before. Now it’s a blood feud. Stop putting labels on people when you don’t understand anything!”

Shaina kicked Sentomaru again, and just then, the S-Hawk below stood up once more, crossing his arms to block Shaina’s strike.

At this moment, both his arms had become two sharp blades. This is the power of Daz Bonez’s Slash-Slash Fruit, another technological breakthrough in the Blazing Angels – Green Blood.

S-Serpent and S-Hawk both have some special ring-shaped areas; the skin in those parts is missing, and beneath them, bubbling liquid can be seen.

Green Blood is a special artificial blood containing Bloodline Factors from Paramecia-type Devil Fruit Users, enabling non-users to gain corresponding abilities.

When those ability users were captured, the Navy extracted their blood, which eventually reached Vegapunk. Through research, he has unraveled many secrets of Devil Fruits.

The Slash-Slash Fruit ability was one he found among many imprisoned ability users, suitable for S-Hawk.

Although Daz Bonez has since escaped with Crocodile, he already contributed enough blood.

”Looks like they value you quite a bit. If you die, will that guy be heartbroken?”

The constant protection of Sentomaru by the Blazing Angels made Shaina detect some anomalies and shifted her attitude towards Sentomaru. Since Vegapunk values him, Shaina must eliminate him.

At the moment Shaina made her decision, Sentomaru suddenly felt a chill behind him, a sensation like being stared at by a predator. He tightly grasped his war axe, nervously facing Shaina.

Just as he began to be cautious, he noticed that S-Hawk and S-Serpent had already moved. Before he could doubt it, pain surged in his chest as Shaina ahead of him slowly dissipated.

”Afterimage... No, my Observation Haki clearly felt...”

”You are too slow. Initially, you indeed sensed my body, but to kill you doesn’t take much time. You can’t react.

Logically speaking, you’re innocent, but you serve as that guy’s bodyguard, blame your fate. Once you got entangled in this relationship, you were swept into this whirlpool of hatred.

But to die by this weapon, you should feel honored.”

The chain spear formed from the Red Chain pierced along the previous wound, and the ghostly blue flame followed into his body.

Meanwhile, in Wano Kuni, Queen was utterly puzzled, looking at Hawkins. He couldn’t understand why he inexplicably drew a black lot.

...

”Ama no Murakumo Sword!”

The sharp Sword Qi slashed from the side, and having escaped Kuzan’s Kizaru, rushed back to Aeghede upon seeing the situation, hastily driving Shaina away.

”Old man... The task of protecting Vegapunk... I’m leaving it to you.”

”Sorry, Sentomaru.”

Kizaru’s tone remained somewhat indifferent, yet carried a hint of apology; he thwarted Shaina’s attack, but it was already too late. From the wound on Sentomaru’s chest, he already sensed that scorching energy.

Unless Sentomaru had the same physiological structure as Blackbeard, the combustion of his internal organs made it impossible for him to survive.

Kizaru’s appearance did not save Sentomaru; the sharpness of the Red Chain, the amplification from Blue Flame Mode + Mega Evolution, alongside the fury within.

Upon seeing those Blazing Angels resembling her race, Shaina felt no comfort whatsoever. Their resemblance nauseated her.

Sentomaru was subjected to her misplaced anger; had it not been for spotting the Blazing Angels, Shaina’s choice would have been to take the Plate and leave without fighting.

Kizaru didn’t know what had transpired regarding Shaina; he only realized that his subordinate, now an official Navy member Sentomaru, had already lost signs of life.

”How terrifying, life is so fragile, Miss Pirate.”

Kizaru uncloaked his cape, and with the wind blowing, it draped perfectly over Sentomaru.

S-Hawk and S-Serpent readied for battle again. They are not ordinary humans, lacking complex emotions, unaware of concepts like revenge, merely intending to eliminate foes as their programs dictated.

For a moment, the situation shifted to 1v3. Kizaru adjusted his sunglasses and then remarked, ”You’ve heard it; these are the subordinate’s dying words. If you would please stay here too.”

”If you can do it, just give it a try.”

”Ice Age!”

The battle hadn’t started when a cold current suddenly attacked from afar, Kuzan swiftly following Kizaru to the scene. S-Hawk and S-Serpent were instantly frozen, but quickly regained freedom through the flames on their backs and the Lunarians Race’s resistance.

The battle went from 1v3 to 2v3 once more...
