Arceus's Pirate Journey

Chapter 1132: Chapter 1117: Karma and S-Bear

”Hey, hey, isn’t the vitality and defense power of this thing a bit too strong? Is this what the Navy Science Corps has been researching? It’s really terrifying.”

Looking at the ice blade in his hand that only left a white mark on S-Serpent, Kuzan was slightly shocked.

He wasn’t aware of the Blazing Angels plan, only that the Navy Science Corps had a secret plan, and now it seems that the plan has already succeeded.

Just now, S-Serpent’s defense was very special, not relying on any special ability, but merely relying on physical defense to block his attack. Coupled with the way it defused his ice seal earlier, Kuzan felt a hint of trouble.

Since the top war began, mysterious weapons have been increasing. Compared to the current Blazing Angels, Peacekeepers and Flying Dragons are practically just small fry.

Crack...

S-Serpent’s current command was to fight, even though Sentomaru was already dead and Kizaru had no authority chip to command the Blazing Angels, Vegapunk’s avatars could still give remote instructions.

When there is no one else to give orders in front of the Blazing Angels, remote commands are not interfered with.

S-Serpent kicked Kuzan’s ice blade, and the ice-formed blade instantly broke in half.

The ice Kuzan created wasn’t easily breakable like this, and the sharp ice blade was enough to cut through an ordinary person’s limbs. S-Serpent could kick against the blade and break his ice sword directly, partly due to her special physique and partly her abilities.

What fell to the ground were not pieces of ice, but fragments of stone. The source of her green blood was Hancock’s bloodline factor. S-Serpent not only inherited Hancock’s appearance but also her Fruit Ability.

”The Pirate Empress’s ability... is that Hawkeye? The Science Class has indeed created something remarkable. Is this a replication of the entire Seven Warlords of the Sea?”

Vegapunk himself is a bit of a perfectionist, wanting to make everything identical. S-Serpent and S-Hawk’s appearance is precisely the same as the young Empress and Hawkeye; even someone with face blindness could recognize them.

If they can make two, they can make a third, a fourth. With a little thought, Kuzan could piece some things together.

”Ice Capsule!”

Muttering to himself, Kuzan’s hands did not stop. As S-Serpent continued her attack, Kuzan faced her with a hugging stance, and as the figures intertwined, S-Serpent became an ice sculpture once again.

But before he could try to shatter it, S-Hawk’s slash was already approaching from the side.

Buzz!

The flash of the blade, and the previously knocked-away weapon had returned to S-Hawk’s hands, the terrifying slash forcing Kuzan back from continuing his action. S-Hawk also swung his wings and stood in front of S-Serpent.

The flames behind him burned vigorously, helping the ice-sealed S-Serpent complete the thawing.

Kuzan’s ice seal generally divides into two types: one where only the exterior is sealed, which the Blazing Angels don’t care about, and another which seals entirely from the inside out.

Even for a Blazing Angel sealed like that, breaking free isn’t easy.

...

”That was close, that was close, we almost had a problem. Aokiji really is tricky. Even the Blazing Angels can’t be immune to his ice seal.”

”After all, he’s a former Admiral. If he was completely and thoroughly frozen from inside to out in an instant, not even the Lunarians Race could mobilize their body’s flame, let alone the Blazing Angels, who are still children and haven’t fully grown.”

In the higher experimental layer, Pythagoras wiped the sweat from his forehead. Kuzan’s arrival was unexpected. Even with the Lunarian blood’s strong resistance, facing an enemy of this level proved insufficient.

If only S-Serpent were to deal with Kuzan, they might have run into trouble.

Meanwhile, Pythagoras also noticed Shaina fighting Kizaru.

”Shaka, that woman...”

”Yes, it should be her, an original Lunarian, but why is her flame blue... it seems their bloodline secrets go beyond this.”

Initially, the whereabouts of King and Shaina were indeed a mystery. Nobody knew where they went after the riots.

But as their activities increased, their presence in the public’s view became more frequent.

For those who have heard of Lunarian legends, it’s not hard to find clues from their fighting style, let alone the laboratory head back then.

After Kaidou’s escape, they vanished along with them. Later, as Kaidou rose to power, the Hundred Beasts acquired such cadres. With a little effort, it’s evident.

The disguises of King and Shaina were more intended to deal with ordinary people, reducing unnecessary trouble. For the real upper echelons, this matter was a tacit public secret.

There are enough samples in the lab, so there is no need to specifically target them for actions.

Aside from the evident strength of Shaina and King’s abilities, the backing of Hundred Beasts is also a big problem.

Targeting them deliberately would bring about too great a cost of retaliation from the Hundred Beasts. If they had to do so, based on current information, capturing Queen would be a better choice.

When the cost and benefit don’t align, few would choose to take such actions.

However, actions against the Lunarians Race have never been canceled; there might still be Lunarians in other places. If anyone could truly capture King or Shaina, the World Government could launch new actions against this matter.

”She is very angry.”

”Of course, anyone seeing this would be naturally angry. This is what they call retribution.”

”Has the main body already taken position? We should move as well. Let’s go, Pythagoras, the action plan has changed as well.”

Shaka’s representation of number 01 stands for uprightness, being the one with the highest moral sense among the avatars.

He does not agree with some experiments, but he also does not oppose the main body participating in these plans for research.

”That’s true; the data observed is enough. There’s no need to keep watching. She knows all of the Lunarians’ weaknesses...”

Shaka and Pythagoras, with a slab beside them, entered the elevator as Edison, Atlas, and York arrived at the top level with S-Bear.

”Punk Record separation complete, island personnel evacuation complete.”

”Great, we should withdraw as well; now is not the time to meet death. S-Bear, we leave it to you.”

The bear-like Blazing Angel took off its gloves, and the pink paw-paw fruit appeared to be very elastic. As everyone was in position, S-Bear swung its arm.

Bang-

With a muffled sound in the air, the upper region of Aeghede disappeared into thin air, the vanished area already enveloped by the Bear Paw Bubble in the far sky, flying rapidly towards an unknown region.

S-Serpent inherited Hancock’s Love-Love Fruit, similarly, S-Bear inherited Kuma’s Paw-Paw Fruit. This bug-like ability was precisely Vegapunk’s planned evacuation method.
