Arceus's Pirate Journey

Chapter 1122: Chapter 1107: Queen Is Still Working Overtime

Caesar’s intentions were clear to Doflamingo—Caesar wanted to exploit the Hundred Beasts to divert the issue concerning BIG MOM, but he forgot one crucial thing: the tiger’s danger far outweighs the wolf’s. Caesar might not have the capability to manage it.

There could be an even worse scenario; if Charlotte Linlin and Kaidou decided to sit down and talk, discovering some discrepancies, Caesar’s troubles would truly grow. There’s a chance they might replicate the feats of that fool from the past.

”Lonely hero? What’s that?”

”Nothing you would want to know. However, Caesar, on the account of our years of cooperation, I have one more thing to tell you.”

”Hmm?”

”If you wish to die, stay away from me; don’t splatter me with blood.”

With that, Doflamingo abruptly ended the call on the Radio Snail, turning to Trebol who was standing by.

”Trebol.”

”Doffy, have any new ideas?”

”Inform Monet later to expedite the actions, extract Caesar’s formula and process for making SAD. I have a premonition that this guy won’t last much longer.”

In Doflamingo’s view, Caesar was dancing on the knife edge, one slip and he’d stab himself repeatedly. Apart from SAD, the core for creating Artificial Fruits, Caesar’s value was minuscule.

Though his weapon research termed ”Realm of Death” had made some progress, that technology wasn’t realized yet, thus its value was almost nil.

Caesar’s risky endeavors instilled a sense of crisis in Doflamingo, who was ready to wash off his hands clean.

Their alliance was based on interests; there was no real friendship involved.

Doflamingo needed Caesar’s technology, Caesar needed Doflamingo’s wealth and protection. Currently, for Doflamingo, the crisis Caesar could bring outweighed the benefits, and it was best to ensure self-preservation in this scenario.

If Caesar wasn’t nearby, he would’ve directly ordered Monet. The work of Monet, the secretary, itself had such intentions, and now the time had come for fast action.

However, Caesar wasn’t aware of Doflamingo’s intentions and hadn’t realized reality.

Caesar, Judge, and Queen were all quite proud, yet among them, Caesar stood out in terms of hubris.

Judge, leading Germa as mercenaries, had seen more of the world, while Queen had insights from Ohara Library knowledge and often received setbacks, possessing a far better grasp of reality than Caesar.

While Caesar was fantasizing about his future, Misu and Tiger had already stepped out of the experimentation area.

...

”Fishman Karate: Kori Busame!”

Under Kuzan’s influence, the ice realm of Punk Hazard turned every drop of water into ice; Tiger’s water punches were no exception.

In mid-air, the water blades transformed into sharp blades due to the frigid conditions, easily cutting down those who obstructed them.

With a few simple punches, Tiger shattered his opponents’ confidence, even special creatures couldn’t halt them, including certain failed specimens.

”Giant Beastman? How can there be such a thing on this island?”

Amidst the snowy surroundings, a massive purple figure appeared before Tiger and Misu.

With a beast-like skull, covered head to toe in purple skin, it had a pair of black curved horns on its head. This monstrosity was a failed attempt by the World Government to revive the Ancient Giant Race.

Once intended for a transaction with the Hundred Beasts Pirate Crew, but the poor quality couldn’t meet Kaidou’s standards; these low-intelligence creatures were nowhere near Emboar and other giant Pokemon.

While a defective product for the Hundred Beasts, here it was a noteworthy creation, earning Caesar additional funding through deception from Charlotte Linlin.

At this time, members of the Knight Order aboard ships had arrived, circumventing the fire and entering Punk Hazard from the other side.

”Form ranks! Take down that thing!”

The well-trained Knight Order members showed excellent coordination, two teaming up to attack the experimental giant’s knees, bringing it to its knees followed by heavy blows to its neck, effortlessly defeating the colossal figure.

The enemies along the way couldn’t stop them; whether it was Caesar’s subordinates or those failed experimental products—they all fell.

The biggest issue arose after reaching the ships.

The size of these captive children varied greatly, a result of Caesar’s experiments—the larger ones had arrived earlier, therefore affected more by substances.

Upon reaching the vicinity of the ship, the larger children collapsed clutching their heads, and over time, this symptom appeared in all of them.

It progressed from mere headaches to irritability, aggression, and craving for a specific candy.

Some of these children were abducted, others deceived.

Initially, Caesar secretly influenced them with drugs to enlarge their bodies, then partnered with Monet to deceive parents and children by claiming the children had a disease that, if transmitted, would be fatal to adults. Thus, they tricked them to the island.

To control these kids, Caesar fed them candy mixed with special drugs.

The accompanying physicians on the ship were at a loss; they simply didn’t understand the situation with these children and opted for external assistance.

Soon, doctors from the Hundred Beasts Pokemon Center received the alert and organized an emergency consultation, yet this group of doctors from around the world couldn’t figure out the situation.

”This is the blood sample analysis from over there, and the patient’s description of the smoking candy that elicits feelings of happiness... isn’t it... that thing?”

”There are many types of such things; I haven’t heard of this drug. Go ask Lord Queen, he might know more.”

Soon, a document reached Queen; after viewing the analytical data, Queen didn’t hesitate to provide an answer.

”Isn’t this NHC10? Where did you see this?”

”NHC10? Lord Queen, isn’t that a poison?”

”Poison? It’s foolish to discuss toxicity without considering dosage. This is indeed a good thing but highly dangerous; only a few countries worldwide qualify to use this drug.

However, doctors wishing to use this drug require approval. Your ignorance is understandable.”

This sort of thing was Queen’s specialty, and he had considerable expertise in the area.

NHC10 is a globally designated special stimulant, applicable for treating unique diseases but dosage must be strictly controlled.

In cases of prolonged ingestion, it leads to chronic poisoning; addicts may experience happiness upon consumption but endure severe agony without the drug.

It’s prohibited in most regions, yet among the members of MADS, none abide by the norms, and their experiments have always contravened World Government regulations—drugs were the least of concerns.

”This issue was encountered by Sister Misu; they came across many individuals overdosed on this drug and are inquiring about solutions.”

”There isn’t a solution. Use sedatives to calm them and take time to slowly cleanse the drug influence—that’s the most effective method.”
