Arceus's Pirate Journey

Chapter 1106: Chapter 1091: The Truth Is Always Unacceptable to the World

Unknown which sea area, Hawkeye who had just dozed off for a moment didn’t know what to say.

The summoning order from the World Government he generally still gives some face, depending specifically on who the opponent is. If it piques his interest, he wouldn’t mind stretching his muscles.

The World Government is well aware of Wald’s abilities, awarding him the title of World Breaker because of his indiscriminate destruction thirty years ago.

Navy, pirates, the World Government, anyone in his way will be attacked by him.

For this reason, the World Government doesn’t want Wald to get too close to Mary Geoise.

They ordered the Seven Warlords of the Sea to intercept Wald nearby to prevent him from threatening Mary Geoise’s safety and damaging the World Government’s reputation.

Guarding Mary Geoise doesn’t yet require the Seven Warlords, the Admirals stationed there aren’t slackers, and there’s some odd firepower within Mary Geoise.

The mysterious God Knight Order, and the Five Elders who can be delayed by the aging Cobra, currently the security strength of Mary Geoise is enough to make Queen laugh to death. At worst, Ghost Island won’t have small holes appearing in the walls of Kaidou or Yamato’s room.

If there really are, they’d certainly be big holes, punched out by Kaidou and Yamato.

In any case, Hawkeye didn’t plan to directly head to Mary Geoise, only intended to move around nearby, which is why he brought Zoro, who got slapped to Kuraigana Island by Kuma, along.

According to the original timeline, he should have gone out with Perona, but now Perona is enjoying a leisurely life in the basement, on Kuraigana Island there are only baboons besides Zoro.

But now Hawkeye feels he might as well bring a few baboons.

Planning to broaden Zoro’s horizons is one thing, another is Hawkeye needs a power source to drive his little boat, and Zoro is acting as the human rowing machine.

During the lengthy voyage, Hawkeye just took a brief nap.

He knows Zoro tends to get lost, always losing his way in the castle, but now it’s different. His task is just to row the boat straight according to the log pointer’s direction, Hawkeye never thought even with this he’d row the boat off course.

Swoosh!

A flash of sword light, a Sea King Type was sliced into two by Hawkeye in one stroke. At this moment the boat’s sail showed no signs of fluttering, indicating they’ve already arrived at the Windless Zone.

”Roronoa, you’re the first to achieve such a thing.”

”Damn it, what’s this got to do with me?! This boat inexplicably ended up here, I was just rowing!”

”Heh, doesn’t matter, just nice to see your progress this year, Roronoa. Your task now is to row this boat out of this Sea King Type’s nest... you rowed off course! A bit more to the left!”

Hawkeye initially thought he’d let Zoro handle it solo, but reality shows him if he doesn’t help steer, they would never reach their intended destination this lifetime.

...

Marinfanto is still under reconstruction, new buildings rise from the war-ravaged wasteland, but regaining its pre-war summit prosperity isn’t easy.

”Borsalino, why are you here? Didn’t the orders from above have you stationed at Mary Geoise?”

”That’s true, but a Heavenly Celestial Dragon said seeing me irritates him, wants to sentence me to death. That’s way too scary, so I came back first, anyway Mary Geoise isn’t far from here, I can rush over.”

Kizaru lounged on the office sofa, casually criticizing the Heavenly Celestial Dragons’ antics.

Yet looking at his expression he clearly wasn’t bothered by such things, Admirals have their own endurance for this sort of thing, if they couldn’t endure they would have long died of rage.

”Besides, aren’t you supposed to be at G1 now? Saka, isn’t that your chosen new headquarters?”

”Many departments haven’t moved yet, it takes time.”

The main seat in the Marshal’s office no longer shows Sengoku’s figure, replaced by Sakazuki’s, who now appears unhappy.

”Speaking of which, Wald truly is a mad dog, attacking anything in sight.”

”Just those kept ice-sealed in Impel Down, but the World Government people... actually bypassed us to directly issue a summoning order.”

In strict terms, both the Seven Warlords and Navy are simply under the World Government. Generally, the World Government informs the Navy first, then the Navy summons the Seven Warlords. Such circumstances are still rather rare.

”Isn’t that sort of thing usual?”

”Tsuru Madam? Why are you here?”

Seeing Tsuru entering the office, Kizaru put down his newspaper, Akainu’s attention also shifted to Tsuru.

”Just some new intelligence, though the Seven Warlords are summoned in name to guard against Wald, actually the World Government also worries someone among the Seven Warlords might take this chance to team up with Wald.”

Until thirty years ago, he was always known as World Breaker, the World Government still remains wary of his power.

The hundredfold speed and size increase of the Double-Double Fruit has too great an impact when applied to weapons.

But their summons hasn’t been all that successful.”

The Navy has its own channels for intelligence, they too can grasp certain information not distributed by the World Government.

”Anything special about it?”

”The World Government’s summoning order was issued about three days ago, directly summoning the Seven Warlords after the assault on the Heavenly Celestial Dragons.

But until now, the only one solely confirmed to have responded and reached the agreed location is the Star Clown - Buggy.”

Doflamingo and Jinbe both gave reasons of needing to guard their own territory, just acting within the outskirts of the New World, the Pirate Empress hasn’t responded at all.

Trafalgar Law seems to have some new agreement with the World Government, as for Hawkeye... he initially said he was coming, but the latest news says he got lost and might miss this summoning.”

Doflamingo and Jinbe’s reasons might pass, but Hawkeye’s justification is rather different.

Incredibly low credibility, the World Government utterly doesn’t believe such a thing, instead regarding it as an extremely perfunctory excuse.

”All a bunch of lawless guys... prepare the battleships, the Navy isn’t dead yet, this sort of thing the Navy can handle, no need to rely on those pirates.”

Listening to Tsuru’s intelligence, Akainu chose to take initiative instead of waiting.

As the Navy began acting, the ocean near Nine Serpent Island, Wald’s giant ship also started moving.

However, Wald’s subordinates had differing opinions on Wald’s action.

”Captain Wald, perhaps choose a different target, this isn’t a wise decision....”
