Arceus's Pirate Journey

Chapter 649: Chapter 648: Corviknight and the Arranged Marriage Enthusiast

Their claws were also wrapped in a layer of steel armor, allowing the bird claws to securely grip the specially-made carriages and bear the weight of both passengers and the carriage itself.

In the sky, Corviknight are overlord-level creatures. There are no Sea King Type monsters in the air, and their bodies of steel and internal strength make them fearless of native birds. Even the extreme climates of the New World can’t threaten them.

Even if knives were falling from the sky, they could still safely carry passengers to their destination.

Moreover, Corviknight have very intelligent minds, enabling them to better respond to sudden situations over the sea.

Above the track, a slightly larger Corviknight held a carriage while observing the surrounding environment. Only after confirming safety did it land the carriage on the ground.

Just like Altaria, Corviknight vary in size to accommodate guests of different statures.

But the Corviknight, which could be called the overlords of the sky, were slightly afraid at this moment, not because of anything else but because this was Ghost Island.

They are unafraid of most Pokemon, except for one type - Tinkaton.

Yet among the many Pokemon living on Ghost Island, there are exactly Tinkaton among them.

There is an ecological chain among Pokemon, and the seemingly adorable Tinkaton can be said to be the nemesis of Corviknight.

The Tinkaton here won’t actively attack Corviknight, but there was an accident before.

Back then, those Tinkaton were playing baseball, a game they developed for forging ores, removing impurities from the metals through the successive hammering by Tinkaton.

One of the Tinkaton accidentally used too much force and unintentionally injured a Corviknight that was passing by.

Although Tinkaton apologized, the leader of the Corviknight was very indignant at the time and went angrily to duel with the leader of the Tinkaton.

Afterward....

Even though there were more Corviknight, they couldn’t defeat the Tinkaton and have since developed a psychological fear of them.

Arceus didn’t intervene in this matter; to him, it’s just a children’s squabble. As long as there isn’t a rupture, there is no need for extra mediation.

The carriage was placed on the ground by Corviknight, and Yamato, along with the siblings Ulti and Page One, stepped out. Then the Corviknight took the carriage back to its home on Sky Island.

”I never want to go to that place again. That woman actually wants to take my little Pei!”

”Sis, don’t say such misleading things, besides, wasn’t she interested in all of us...?”

The woman Ulti was referring to is Charlotte Linlin. The three of them went to attend Charlotte Linlin’s tea party, but at the tea party, Charlotte Linlin’s old habit acted up again.

It wasn’t Anorexia Nervosa, but her matchmaking obsession that flared up. Charlotte Linlin already has numerous husbands. This tea party was held because the Charlotte Family’s thirty-ninth daughter, Charlotte Linlin’s 85th child, Charlotte Anana, was born.

This is Charlotte Linlin’s last child, and she no longer has an interest in finding another husband, but she still has her own children.

Charlotte Linlin has always advocated arranged marriages, and this time she showed interest in Yamato and others.

In the past, she would only let her children marry pirates who joined her crew, but the Hundred Beasts Pirates were an exception. The Hundred Beasts could never be integrated into BIG MOM, even though she and Kaidou have a lot of connections and she’s very familiar with Kaidou.

Precisely because of this, Charlotte Linlin knows that Kaidou would not be willing to be subordinate, and likewise, she can’t accept this, so she made an exception, hoping for a union between her children and theirs.

But neither Yamato nor Ulti and Page One are interested in this. Yamato and Page One simply have no interest in the opposite gender, while Ulti has a possessive desire only for her brother.

Whoever wants to take her brother away ends up on her blacklist. Maria’s target is Kaidou, and Yamato has no interest in men at all, so Ulti gets along well with them.

Conversely, Charlotte Linlin, who wants to find a wife for Page One, naturally became someone she dislikes and has marked the Tottland Kingdom as her taboo territory.

”Forget about that, I also felt that the tea party was no fun at all, how about we go play baseball?”

Yamato pulled out Ken #7 from her space pouch. It’s a new weapon forged by Tinkaton after repeated hammering, not only inheriting the legacy of their ancestors but also perfectly fusing rare metals like Arceus Steel, making it currently the strongest Wolf Fang Club.

Released alongside it was the Hassaikai 2.0. Over the years, Kaidou’s weapon has been reshaped for the first time ever, receiving a transformative enhancement.

Since acquiring the new weapon, Yamato has cultivated a certain interest in baseball.

”No way, you better go play with those Tinkaton, only you guys can handle this kind of baseball play.”

Yamato isn’t playing ordinary tennis but metal balls specially made like those of Tinkaton, which is one of her recent entertainment methods.

However, except for Tinkaton, none of the Hundred Beasts members are interested in this sort of thing. The only one interested is Kaidou, but Yamato absolutely doesn’t want to engage with Kaidou in this ”game.”

At this time, Kaidou is not on Ghost Island. He is currently out of contact. Based on previous examples, it is estimated that he will appear in newspapers within half a month and return to Ghost Island within a month.

...

”Father, I just saw Brother Zeraora go out. What did he go for?”

Zeraora’s two children are growing up, and his vacation life with Setsuna has ended. They take turns going out on missions, but this time Zeraora seemed to be in a bit of a hurry.

”Nothing major, just some small trouble on Sky Island. Zeraora is the most suitable person to handle it.”

Recently, a request for help came from Sky Island. They encountered an invader.

This is the first time in many years that Sky Island has asked for help. Situated high in the sky, Sky Island has exceptional geographical advantages, and it also has the giant Serperior remodeled by Arceus guarding it, having lived peacefully for years.

Most of the time, Sky Island does not face external enemies, and even if they do, they are no match for the Shandia People. The number of times the Serperior had to intervene is hardly a few.

But this time is different; the enemy invading Sky Island is the strongest ever. The Serperior is doing its best to resist but has very little effect against this enemy.

Because it’s too fast, the Serperior hasn’t been defeated, but it also can’t do anything about this enemy.

Such battles have already affected the lives of ordinary people on Sky Island and delayed the collection of Sky Island Shells, which is why they sent the call for reinforcements to Ghost Island.

With extreme speed and the use of thunder powers, Zeraora is the optimal solution to counter this kind of enemy.
