Arceus's Pirate Journey

Chapter 544: Chapter 543: Arceus’s Secret Power

It is impossible to completely leave Larvitar under Yamato’s care; only by absorbing enough energy can Larvitar successfully cocoon and evolve into Pupitar, and then ’break the cocoon into a butterfly’ to become the true Desert Tyrant.

This world is indeed dominated by The Sea, yet people still have to live on land; not everyone can live in water like the Fishmen do.

This gives Yamato something special to strive for—hope gives her the motivation to work harder.

As they spoke, two Chanseys had already worked together to carry over a large barrel filled with a mixture of stones and wood, also mixed with various metal powders. Judging by the noise when the wooden barrel hit the ground, the portion of this special food was substantial, even making the Chanseys wipe the sweat off their foreheads.

Despite their small size, their round bodies contain an incredibly terrifying power.

Looking at the food just moved over, Larvitar quickly abandoned the Diamond Bed, though the ’candy’ tasted good, only eating that kind of thing could get tiresome.

If outsiders saw this, they might grind their molars with jealousy, even if the price of diamonds is artificially inflated, these diamonds here are still incredibly valuable.

For them, such a large Diamond Bed would have been enough to be envious of, but someone using these priceless treasures as food seemed like a waste to them. However, in the Hundred Beasts, diamonds are the least valuable things.

With Diancie around, as long as there are carbon elements in the world, diamonds are inexhaustible and renewable.

Larvitar clearly won’t finish soon, and Arceus talked to Yamato about other things.

Kaidou and Whitebeard chose a great time for their battle—right on Yamato’s birthday in 1509. According to Kaidou’s theory, there is no better gift than a live broadcast of a battle at the peak of the world.

But it couldn’t change the fact that this year’s birthday celebrations were canceled due to unforeseen circumstances. Although there were no plans to make up for it, Arceus prepared a completely new gift for her—a seemingly ordinary waist pouch.

”Godfather, is there something special about this bag?”

It seemed like a very ordinary sling bag, pure white all over, with a cloud-like texture because it was made of clouds.

The Pirate World has ever-changing clouds, especially in the Sky Island, where clouds have long been integrated into the lives of Sky Island people.

The strap of that sling bag was woven from Rope Cloud and Iron Cloud, possessing very strong tenacity; however, the most special part is the bag itself, which was made using Sky Island’s cloud processing.

After living on Sky Island for so many years, the people there have developed unique cloud craftsmanship. However, the unique aspect of this bag lies in its internal space.

The clouds of Sky Island can store items, and Satori of the Forest, the guardian of the Ball of Trials, hid various weapons in surprise clouds made using Cloud Shell. However, the storage size of regular clouds is related to their volume.

But there is a unique skill in Pokemon—Secret Power.

In battles, it can unleash different skills depending on the environment, but in everyday life, it can build a secret base, creating a unique space in forests or rocks—a great skill for building hidden abodes.

There are many Pokemon that can learn this skill, but the Secret Power used by Arceus is different from those ordinary Pokemon. The space he created expands beyond the limitations of the object itself.

Put simply, this sling bag of Yamato’s is a piece of spatial equipment made using Sky Island cloud.

Because the clouds of Sky Island are a special substance akin to the land of the Blue Sea, and due to their unique extensibility combined with Arceus’s power, this spatial equipment was created.

Though it looks just like an ordinary sling bag, inside, it is a whole room. Added to the properties of Sky Island clouds, it’s not hard to fit herself in it, and already Yamato had half her body inside.

Due to the special nature of Sky Island clouds, they can float in the sky even when carrying heavy objects, and can even allow for a random journey by sneaking in.

This is an experiment, and Yamato is the first to receive an internal prototype. If she finds it functional, some of these cloud backpacks will be mass-produced and distributed to key personnel. This black technology personally crafted by Arceus is not planned for general dissemination at the moment.

As for the Pokeball, while that’s also unscientific equipment, he has no intention of introducing it. Although in the world of Pokemon Pokeballs are widespread, they are similar to restraint tools.

Some Berries can be used to make Pokeballs, but the original versions of those Berries are all controlled internally within the Hundred Beasts. If this item were ever truly made, it would most likely be destroyed.

”Do you like it?”

”I like it. Oh, right, Godfather, does Father know about this thing?”

”Don’t think about it. When he looks for you, his Observation Haki is always fully activated. Unless yours surpasses his, don’t even think of this idea.”

When Yamato said this, he immediately sensed her intent—she probably intended to hide inside to avoid Kaidou’s pursuit. But this is simply unrealistic.

”Alright then, go play with Larvitar yourself for now. It’s almost finished eating; I have some things to do.”

”Got it, see you later, Godfather.”

Afterward, Arceus left, needing to arrange the information Morgans provided.

Previously, Morgans exchanged some exclusive information for the qualification to photograph on-site; Kaidou and Whitebeard fought for five days and nights, which meant Zeraora held him in the sky for five days and nights.

Although these people far surpass ordinary mortals in hunger endurance, five days of inactivity is fine. But having a High-Level Official do this is a concession Morgans made to benefit Hundred Beasts.

Based on reports from the South Sea bureau, there is an outbreak of a pestilence there, primarily affecting a certain flower, which is a main source for a local type of honey.

And this honey is a top-tier product in the honey industry.

Locals are suppressing the news, but the outbreak is almost inevitable, and in the coming years, this flower nectar is expected to be significantly reduced, meaning a large shortage will occur in the market; this is one of the news Morgans traded for reporting.

To local beekeepers, this is a disaster, but for Hundred Beasts Fruit, it’s a new opportunity. They now have to cultivate a cohort of new bees to capture this market gap during the empty phase.

They won’t duplicate the same thing but will instead attract customers with a new type of honey. Many loyal to the original nectar, but under these circumstances, most will choose substitutes.
