Arceus's Pirate Journey

Chapter 334: Chapter 333: Celestial Punisher

These three people didn’t promote this themselves, but Morgans directly coronated them, especially Whitebeard and BIG MOM, whose children suddenly saw this news.

The result was just as Morgans predicted. The headline of Sea Emperors made the newspapers sell well the next day, and the booming sales led to many consequences, with different people having different reactions.

”Mama! That guy Morgans has published new news again, and this time he’s calling you a Sea Emperor, lick lick~”

Perospero was reporting the situation to Charlotte Linlin, holding a newspaper.

”But Mama, that Morgans guy is really restless. This will complicate things within the seas again, and those reckless newcomers might all want to ascend to the throne.”

Katakuri was more concerned about the impact of this matter. Whether it was the BIG MOM Pirates or the Hundred Beasts Pirates, even the Whitebeard Pirates had one thing in common, which was that the second-in-command was very busy.

Because their captains always tread an unruly path, now most of the affairs of the BIG MOM Pirates are arranged by Katakuri and Perospero, while Charlotte Linlin spends most of her time adding more siblings for them.

”Ma~ma~ma~ma~, it doesn’t matter. Those guys will understand what terror is.”

”Of course, after all, Totto Land has you, Mama.”

Although Perospero said this, Katakuri could see the helplessness in Perospero’s eyes. For Totto Land today, the most dangerous thing is not outsiders but Charlotte Linlin herself.

If those newcomers happen to snatch BIG MOM’s food which triggers her anorexia nervosa, that would be a real big problem.

Perospero had already made up his mind to increase escort forces, but he had to find a way to persuade BIG MOM to create more Homies soldiers.

Meanwhile, on a large ship resembling a white whale in the New World sea area, the pirates on board were also having a banquet.

This is the Moby Dick, Whitebeard’s ride. Compared to Kaido and Charlotte Linlin, Whitebeard stays on the ship more; he enjoys sailing together with family.

”Pops, it’s time for your medicine.”

”I’m not sick, what medicine?”

”Your body needs maintenance, Pops. Listen to the doctor; it’s only a minor issue now. If it worsens, it’ll be troublesome.”

Although Whitebeard wasn’t at the point where he needed IV drips and oxygen, his body began to require medicinal care, with some minor problems appearing in his body.

”Gurarara, alcohol is the best medicine. A little booze is enough for these minor ailments.”

While two leopard-patterned nurses coaxed Whitebeard into taking medicine like coaxing a child, Marco came over with a newspaper.

”Pops, big news! You’ve become an Emperor.”

”Emperor?”

Taking advantage of Whitebeard’s attention when he heard ’Emperor’, the nurses quickly stuffed the medicine into his mouth. Fortunately, Whitebeard was sitting in a recliner, otherwise, this action would have been challenging.

Such scenes happened often, and everyone on the ship was used to it. After receiving the newspaper, Whitebeard read the report.

”Click, that kid Kaido stirred up quite a commotion. Sea Emperor, that old bird Morgans sure dares to say it.”

”But Pops, isn’t it cool? If you’re a Sea Emperor, then we’re princes, right?”

”Gurarara, it seems that way? What, do you want to be a prince?”

”No, I’m not interested in that, just want to stay by your side, Pops.”

”Silly boy... but this seems like good news, eh? Everyone! Party continues! But we must be more vigilant afterward; troubles will come!”

”Oh!”

Whitebeard wasn’t very concerned with this empty title, but this label seemed likely to help him better protect his family. The Moby Dick was sailing towards Shampodi, but Whitebeard wasn’t heading to the first half, but rather to Fishman Island to meet an old friend.

There was no negative sentiment overall with Whitebeard and BIG MOM, but the Navy who saw the newspaper had a different reaction.

”Damn that Morgans! Sea Emperor? Is he giving titles to pirates now?! If pirates can become emperors, then what does that make us, the Navy?!”

There were more than one voice of this sort; both the hawks and doves were enraged by Morgans’ promotion of pirates, but they were helpless.

The World Economic News Agency is a legitimate business, and the World Government didn’t oppose this news, thinking it would lead more pirates to challenge the so-called Emperor position, increasing internal conflicts among pirates.

As for the inevitable increase in pirates setting sail or the Navy’s face, they never cared. Things have a double aspect, but World Government officials can greatly amplify one side for their benefit, allowing people to ignore the other.

Although the destruction caused by Kaido and Arceus was terrifying, they weren’t the only ones able to do such things, since the misreporting of journalists didn’t include footage of Arceus’ attacks.

Word-of-mouth images were much less reliable. Because of this, they simply continued to raise the danger level.

To the World Government, destroying a non-adhering country’s royal capital was hardly a matter, even obliterating an allied nation along with its island was insignificant; such islands weren’t one or two in the long history.

It’s not like Joy Boy was resurrected. Apart from the Sea Emperor title in this event, it mainly led to modifications in the wanted posters.

Kaido’s photo wasn’t changed, as they couldn’t possibly put Kaido’s true dragon form on the poster.

Meanwhile, Arceus’ title and photo were both replaced; a photo taken by that journalist replaced the original, with the previous Concealer now becoming the Celestial Punisher.

Hundred Beasts Kaido - Bounty of 3,570,000,000 Belly.

Celestial Punisher Arceus - Bounty of 2,580,000,000 Belly.

This bounty change also resulted in a unique situation, making the Hundred Beasts Pirates the only pirate crew on the sea with duo bounties exceeding 2 billion.

Though Whitebeard still had the highest bounty among those alive and uncaptured, the Hundred Beasts Pirates, as the youngest emperor group, showed strength and status no weaker than any other crew.

The Hundred Beasts had no objections to this title, and the Hundred Beasts King was already launching a new revelry halfway. The Arceus Sect also underwent some changes.

The picture on the wanted poster was quite well-taken. After being enlarged and trimmed, it was featured in many places, like on Shaina’s ship, or in the Ghost Island office.

And on Ghost Island, Yamato looked at the newspaper delivered back and seemed to have discovered something unbelievable.

”Father and father have secretly gone out without telling me?!”
