Arceus's Pirate Journey

Chapter 303: Chapter 302: The Pink Devil’s Team Battle and Blastoise Chief

These thugs were originally rogue elements, engaged in oppressing local villagers in their daily work. Taking advantage of the chaos, they naturally launched a large-scale heist.

The Hundred Beasts Pokemon Center originally had pirates stationed there, but due to communications between pirates, unexpected news from Yamato’s side was also transmitted.

There had been no incidents here, so the pirates decided to leave to rescue their young lady. But shortly after they left, the gathering thugs set their sights on this place.

”Those doctors probably have a lot of money too, right...”

”I think so. Just asking a few questions costs a few silvers, so those guys must be loaded with cash, and those nurses...”

He didn’t say anything, but his lewd expression and posture already explained his intentions.

”Enough nonsense, let’s go! Didn’t many people suffer at that minefield?! Today we’re taking it all back!”

Once it was confirmed that the pirates had indeed left, hundreds of thugs rushed towards the Hundred Beasts Pokemon Center, and when the nurse on duty at the entrance saw the approaching crowd, she instinctively pressed the button under the desk.

Since arriving here, they had conducted some drills, not expecting to actually use them now.

”Click, click...”

The sound of mechanical gears turning echoed, and the once-transparent windows were now covered by metal panels, turning the once-hospital Hundred Beasts Pokemon Center into a fortress.

This was the purpose when this building was constructed, and now this design showed its effect.

At the same time, the alarms of the Pokemon Center blared, awakening nurses, doctors, and hospitalized patients alike.

But now there’s another problem—the majority of the pirates have left, leaving only a small number of personnel on the watch, leading them to inadequately cover defensive areas.

It’s not an issue to just defend the Pokemon Center itself, but once those people found they couldn’t break through the defenses here, they turned to the residential area behind.

The defense level there was much weaker compared to here, and due to immigration, nurse and doctor families were living there. Seeing this situation through Rotom’s image, those originally in a safe place couldn’t sit still.

”Doctor Toddler, where are you going?!”

”My parents are living over there! Where do you think I’m going? And aren’t you the same, do you just want to watch?!” 𝒻𝘳ℯℯ𝑤ℯ𝒷𝘯ℴ𝓋ℯ𝘭.𝑐ℴ𝑚

Toddler said to them and then started looking for things he could arm himself with in the hospital. An assassin may not necessarily become a doctor, but for these experienced doctors, given the chance, they would kill faster than they could heal.

Scalpels and mops were temporarily combined, and in terms of sharpness, a scalpel is far superior to ordinary knives.

Except for the elderly professors, the young medical staff gathered together, but just as they planned to rush out, they discovered that the outside situation wasn’t as expected.

After coming here, they had interacted with the Pokemon for a long time. In their eyes, Pokemon might just be reliable medical assistants, but Pokemon excel in battles as well.

In the Pokemon world, whether it’s ancient battlefields or modern special operations, Pokemon’s role far exceeds ordinary weapons. While they were still preparing, the Pokemon had already left.

Under the night sky, Comfey flew, scattering seeds that caused grass to grow on the ground below.

”Where did all this grass come from?”

A thug hadn’t figured out why the place suddenly turned into grassland, but the plants suddenly connected on the ground, tripping them like a snare and knocking them to the ground.

It started with Grassy Terrain, a field skill used by Comfey to enhance grass-type skills, followed by Grass Knot, a move that tripped many thugs to the ground.

Although they were moving in a group, when it came to looting, they were competitors. To snatch more, they were packed tightly together, which led to a stampede when they stumbled.

And there was more—among the seeds scattered by Comfey were Leech Seeds. Some fallen thugs were bound by vines from the Leech Seeds, continuously draining their stamina.

”It’s those things up there! Shoot! Quickly, shoot!”

It’s possible to find firearms within Wano Kuni, but these firearms were less accurate compared to those from weapon factories. So after a round of gunfire, it only made Comfey fly higher.

And after Comfey’s harassment, the mixed forces composed of Chansey and Audino appeared. They were much larger targets, but the thugs still couldn’t deal effective damage. The Defend Barrier raised by Chansey formed the frontline.

All attacks were blocked by their Protect, while Audino’s Secret Power brewed in their hands would cause different effects based on the terrain.

At this moment, on the grassy terrain, Secret Power manifested as an attack resembling Magical Leaf. Before Audino’s attack could end, Chansey initiated their next move.

Subs were released by them, charging forward while their main bodies shrunk and hid behind the subs. Then Chansey directly launched an assault on their toes.

”Ouch! What bit my foot?!”

”Same here... Damn, what are these things?!”

Although minimizing reduced their size, their strength hadn’t diminished. Plus, people in Wano Kuni generally wear wooden sandals with no protection. Most of them had their toes smashed, crying out in pain.

Defense Curl and Rollout aren’t exclusive to Miltank. Chansey could also do it, their bodies bowling through enemy lines like bowling balls. Under the Pokemon’s attack, the thugs fell into complete disarray.

But it didn’t stop there; right next to the Pokemon Center was the Squirtle Fire Brigade. They weren’t just good at putting out fires; they could also fight.

”Carme!”

Although the fire brigade was led by two Squirtle, there was a Blastoise acting as the director. It now moved its feet here, the large cannons on its back already aimed at them.

”Carme!”

”Squirtle Squirtle!”

Under Blastoise’s lead, a massive torrent of water blasted towards those people. Squirtle sprayed regular high-pressure water, while from Blastoise’s cannons came scalding hot boiling water...
