Arceus's Pirate Journey

Chapter 307: Chapter 306: Rampaging Heavy Tanks

”Roar!”

A slightly deep roar came from Lairon’s mouth, as a pure white glow gradually enveloped its body.

Its short stature gradually rose, and its original lizard-like posture gradually transformed into the shape of a dinosaur. As the light dissipated, a gigantic bipedal beast appeared before him.

”Hey ho!”

The Iron Armor Pokemon - Aggron, the final evolution of Aron. In the world of pirates, Haki is a kind of idealistic power, and the evolution of Pokemon is also connected to the heart.

When their physical condition basically meets the requirements, the power of the heart can make evolution occur ahead of time. To achieve its goal, Lairon evolved.

Aggron’s entire body is wrapped in hard armor, and a sharp horn extends outward from the forehead position of its head. There are two pairs of holes on its forehead, with two long sharp horns extending from the two front holes.

Its upper and lower jaws are composed of silvery-white metal, with sharp tooth-like protrusions revealing at the corners of its mouth.

All four limbs are encased in silver steel rings to enhance its defense, and its forelimbs have already turned into stout arms.

Its short, round tail has also transformed into a thick and long black tail.

Due to the increasing consumption of wine iron ore, the silvery-white armor now has red cloud patterns, adding a touch of terror to the current Aggron.

Common Aggron stand around two meters tall, but this Aggron has had a very ample diet. Top-quality wine iron ore has given it a stronger body, and even its size after evolution is more than twice that of normal Aggron.

Plus, with its heavy metal trait, the ground is already marked with two deep footprints.

Thud! Thud!

The sound of metal thundered as its fists collided with each other, and Aggron charged towards Isaac.

It was the first time Isaac had seen the evolution of a Pokemon, and this massive change left him momentarily unable to comprehend it, but he knew he was in big trouble.

It had taken him quite some effort just to deal with that lizard monster, and now the lizard monster had turned into a dinosaur monster. Whether in size or appearance, Aggron felt much more terrifying than Lairon.

Isaac tried the old trick, thrusting drills beside Aggron’s eye holes, as he had discovered that the air vents on Aggron were almost its only weak point.

However, unlike before, Aggron now possessed two hands.

With three claws shrouded in a metallic glow, Aggron simultaneously used its Metal Claw, knocking Isaac’s drilling attack aside, and then charged at him with its body.

Wrapped in steel armor, it was like a heavy tank. In the collision, Isaac suffered a great loss, not realizing the seriousness of the situation, and continued trying to stab Aggron with his drill arms.

Yet Aggron neither dodged nor blocked, instead directly grabbing Isaac’s drill, causing showers of sparks to burst from its hands. Under the pressure of Aggron’s strength, his drill ceased turning.

”What!”

It wasn’t that he didn’t want to keep spinning, but Aggron’s power made it impossible for him to continue. Then, to his astonishment, Aggron directly lifted him up.

”Hey ho!”

After tossing him into the air, the cumbersome Aggron actually leaped up, its thick tail gleaming with a metallic luster. An Iron Tail lashed him away like hitting a baseball.

Misfortunes never come singly; he was struck by Aggron onto a pile of stones, and these stones were exactly the raw ore of seastone excavated from underground, which immediately sapped his strength.

Before he could climb out, Aggron’s Hyper Beam was already fully charged, and the lethal beam shot towards him. Being thrown onto the raw seastone ore, he was utterly unable to dodge.

Even though Aggron’s physical attack far surpassed its special attack, the Hyper Beam it unleashed still blasted a gaping hole in his chest. And after dealing with Isaac, Aggron did not stop moving.

It knew that only by ending the battle would others have time to heal its trainer. With a running start, Aggron’s massive body launched a charge at the Imperial Court Guards’ ninjas and prisoner pirates.

The Steel Type move Heavy Slam deals more damage the higher the user’s weight compared to the opponent’s.

With its massive weight and heavy metal trait, Aggron unleashed its potential as a war machine.

The ninjas’ weapons might have some effect on humans, but against Aggron, wrapped in special alloy, they were completely powerless.

The current Aggron was like a heavy tank crashing into the ancient battlefield of Japan; the enemy had no choice but to flee.

Both kunai and shurikens were ineffective; without mastering the Iron Cutting skill, an ordinary person wouldn’t even have the chance to scratch Aggron’s surface.

With the evolved Aggron further turning the tide at the Udon Mine, the jailbreak attempt was quickly thwarted.

Similar situations weren’t happening just here. Besides the Udon Mine, Ghost Island was the main base of the Hundred Beasts Pirates, where the samurai were leading the charge.

The elite of the Hundred Beasts gathered in the Flower Capital, leaving Ghost Island defenseless. To the samurai, this was an opportunity; instead of sailing, they chose to swim across.

A few squads of samurai landed on Ghost Island armed only with samurai blades. There, they indeed didn’t find any pirates, seemingly as if Ghost Island was devoid of manpower. However, they did see a yellow creature.

The Electivire from the power plant had been waiting for them there for a long time.

”Zzz...”

An electric current flashed across Electivire’s body, and then those soaked by seawater experienced the power of one hundred thousand volts.

These samurai, naturally not landing in one place, inevitably left some that managed to reach the structures on Ghost Island. Rotom did not attack but actively opened the door, and an elderly-looking woman walked out from inside.

”Hey, old hag, step aside quickly; this is not where you should be showing up.”

”Oh dear, oh dear, even though I didn’t join them, this is still my workplace. I can’t let you come here and cause trouble.”

Once a cadre of the Wald Pirates, now employed by the Hundred Beasts Pirates as a Chinese herbal medicine expert, Nightin.

Though appearing elderly, she was someone who had once exchanged blows with the Empress in hand-to-hand combat after rejuvenating herself with medicine at the age of eighty. Among female pirates, she was strong.

”Besides, didn’t your mothers teach you to respect a woman’s age a bit more! Chinese Herbal Fist - Clove Kick!”

Without even using the secret method of rejuvenation, Nightin charged at this group of samurai on her own. Although she was a ship’s doctor, she was also a martial artist when on Wald’s ship...
