Arceus's Pirate Journey

Chapter 333: Chapter 332: The Title of Sea Emperor

The development of the fruit is also part of self-training. The conditions for evolution have been opened. As Mandfeish’s strength continues to increase, evolution becomes a natural process. Sometimes, certain opportunities can also enhance his tendency to evolve.

”Listen up, all of you! Mandfeish achieved this not because of anything else, but because he found the relevant thing. This condition is applicable to everyone!”

Mandfeish was merely the beginning. People like Pierman, who initially discovered the tabletop resembling a plate, and others who accompanied Mandfeish, received corresponding rewards. Those who died in battle were also given appropriate compensation.

While the Hundred Beasts were recuperating, the Kingdom’s army and the Rebel Army began a new round of negotiations at the residence of a Duke far from the Royal City. West Kael V was the only son of West Kael IV. The young man had no heirs, but it wouldn’t have mattered anyway.

After all, Arceus annihilated the entire royal family. The lack of heirs simply reduced the number of people implicated.

Now that the bloodline of the West Kael royal family has completely vanished, the future of the West Kael Kingdom has become a problem. The question of who will rule this nation has become the biggest issue.

Moreover, the existence of the Hundred Beasts Pirates presents an unsolvable issue for them. They have absolutely no idea what the other party intends to do.

However, early the next morning, the Hundred Beasts left the area directly. After confirming that the Hundred Beasts had indeed departed, the remaining leaders of the Kingdom’s army and the Rebel Army engaged in new conflict.

This time, it wasn’t about maintaining the so-called royal authority but fighting for their own interests. Shortly after the Hundred Beasts left, two different groups arrived at Kuraigana Island. One was the Navy’s investigative unit.

Prior to this, they knew Kaidou and his crew had landed on the island, but they didn’t take any action. A war-torn Non-Adhering Country wasn’t worth expending military resources on.

Facing an enemy that could fly, the significance of a sudden attack was negligible.

The second group wasn’t human but rather a troop of baboons. These baboons, known as human imitators, always mimic certain human behaviors. In their previous habitat, they mimicked some crew members. By coincidence, they arrived here during their voyage...

.....

Although the Navy hadn’t deployed personnel, the photographers from the World Economic News Agency secretly infiltrated. Morgans, obsessed with major news, naturally had many such reporters under him.

Queen, using the blockade news transmitted by Umit, spread it almost throughout the Underworld. Morgans naturally received the news, and his intuition told him that major news was bound to happen.

As a result, he sent some capable subordinates to arrive here before the blockade, while the World Economic News Agency had its branches in various sea regions. By now, he had already used special equipment to transmit the photos back.

The razed Royal City, Kaidou spewing flames in the sky, and his most satisfying photo this time—Arceus’s photo.

He was too shocked when Arceus released the Solar Beam, so he forgot to press the shutter, but it ultimately had a miraculous effect.

Arceus stood above the clouds, with the sunlight enhanced by the clear weather forming a perfect halo.

In addition, Arceus’s commanding presence from above, though not as massive as Kaidou’s Cyan Dragon body, the photo highlighted Arceus’s majesty more than the ”pet” photo captured by a CP Agent on the ship’s bow.

”Like divine retribution... This is practically a masterpiece. It’s a pity it belongs to a pirate; otherwise, such a photo would surely win the World Government’s photography award.”

The official contests do not encourage promoting piracy, so his photo would only have participated in some private events at most.

His confidence in winning was his pride as a photographer. While he was immersed in his work, on a certain island in the New World, Morgans looked at the photos and news drafts sent back by his subordinates and burst into wild laughter.

”Wahahahaha, Kaidou really made big news, huh, guys! Start writing! Whoever deserves the bonus this time depends on your performance. This is a ’country-destroying’ feat!”

In his albatross form, he began thinking about how to write the news headlines based on the report from the frontline reporters. Violent news always grabs attention, let alone this act of annihilation.

”Tweak this a bit, merely mention the country’s destruction, don’t talk about the casualties, make it seem like everyone perished, wahahahaha.”

Morgans was adept at false advertising. The core information of the event didn’t change, but he deliberately mentioned only part of it and then left some ambiguous statements, making them imagine the scenario on their own.

”As for the reason... let’s change it, just say they offended the Hundred Beasts, hmm, that’ll do.”

Morgans engaged in the habit of exaggerating events daily. From what he knew, Kaidou wouldn’t come after him for this since his actions were actually making him more famous.

Moreover, the headquarters of the World Economic News Agency looked like a gigantic teapot but the upper part was actually a massive hot air balloon. Their headquarters was mobile, and Morgans often moved locations because the news he reported sometimes got him into trouble.

In both the World Government and among pirates, there were those who wished he would completely shut up, and he even possessed decent combat skills, although no one really knew.

The reporters at the headquarters had impeccable writing skills and soon produced four or five drafts for Morgans to review.

”Great, great, very well written. Replace the front-page headline for next issue. What’s a singer releasing a new song compared to the country-destroying Kaidou? Nobody cares about a single song.”

”President, what should the newspaper’s headline be?”

”Hmm, good reminder. We need an exaggerated title... Country-destroying... Kings are insignificant before them... Got it! The Sea Emperor Ruling the World! Write that!”

Morgans’s mind raced, and he finally came up with such a title.

”Wait! That’s not enough, one Kaidou isn’t enough, we need to add some competition... Linlin and Whitebeard, bring me a pen, I’ll write this issue’s article myself!”

The next day, Morgans’s newspaper featured the following:

The Pirate Queen of the Tottland Sea Region - BIG MOM - Charlotte Linlin.

Edward Newgate - Whitebeard - the world’s strongest man, considered the person closest to becoming the Pirate King after Roger’s death.

Hundred Beasts Kaidou - the terrifying pirate who destroyed a country out of anger.

They, like emperors of the sea, reign over the New World, dividing most of its sea regions, vying for the legendary Grand Treasure...

To Morgans, who thrives on drama, the bigger the story, the better. He not only welcomed trouble but strived to amplify its impact, such as crafting the title of the Sea Emperor.
